Their margaritas are amazing I had the cucumber lime, and it was so refreshing! The food was great, and we enjoyed sitting outside. The interior is beautifully decorated. A bit pricey, but overall excellent. I often order takeout from here too!

Fantastic guacamole trio and chips (mango, traditional, and pineapple)

Wow were we impressed by how upscale this place was. I picked a restaurant walking distance from downtown to eat at while seeing the holiday lights (techincally this was walking distance, but in the dark and cold my 6 year old was unimpressed by the walk). Inside is lovely, and there was live music on Saturday evening. We felt comfortable being there with a kid, but it also looked like a few tables were out for a date night. The music was a little loud, so we chose to sit in the back where it was fine. It was really cold though. The food was delicous. Started with complimentary potatoe flautas, which were fine. (They had sour cream on them which I hate. I wiped it off, but who knows how much more I would have liked them without it.) -Guacomole trio with traditional, pineapple, and mango guacomole's. All of them were great, but the pineapple was trully outstaning. I plan to return here because of how amazing the pineapple guacomole was. -Vegetarian fajitas with flour tortillas (no sour cream) and they were great, with a side of coconut rice which was just okay to me. -Kids quesadilla with Mexican rice, great expect that it had sour cream and crumbled cheese on top. This is great for fancy adults, but picky kids it's easier if they know exactly what to expect. Mexican rice was great. --Mojito was fantastic. Great service! Delicious food, and lovely space! Kid and baby friendly- They have a kids meal, high chairs and booster seats, and while they don't have a changing pad the bathrooms are both clean, large, single user spaces with good enough floor space for someone to lay out a changing mat.

The margarita menu was very confusing to start. I asked for a shot of grand Marnier to add to my margarita and the server gave me grab gala instead. When I said I'm sorry I wanted grand Marnier she said that goes in the Cadillac margarita and I ordered the ultra premium. I was confused bc I ordered the shot separately so that shouldn't have mattered. The lime sour is not home made it's from a bottle so it wasn't good made the margarita super average. This restaurant doesn't give complimentary chips and salsa like every other Mexican restaurant. Paid for chips and queso and for a 3 oz side of salsa was $3. Way overpriced. We got one margarita and a side of cups and queso and our bill was $55!!!

The food was good but pricey for portion size. The pictures online do not compare to what I got. The calamari was the circumference of a quarter and some were the size of a dime. The calamari were the smallest I have ever had. The steak pieces were small but fat free.

I saw pics of this place come across my Facebook feed and I've been waiting to try. We ended up having to be in Valparaiso and , so we stopped around 4 PM Before the dinner rush. The prices are higher but it's so worth the elevated ingredients and the food was just worth it. The Barbacoa tacos were the best and meatiest I've ever had. They bring out some complimentary flautas instead of chips. The house margaritas were on special that evening and very fresh and delicious! The coconut rice. Omg the COCONUT RICE! So amazing! The service was on point and now we were informed that they are opening another location with tequila bar in Merrillville! We are going to be back. Kudos to the chef!

The chips with the micro amount of salsa and the $5 bowl of salsa they charged us for.

My friend and I decided to try a new place, and needless to say we were both very disappointed, wont be returning, and definitely would not recommend this to our friends. Luckily we were starving and wanted to try a new place other than our regular spots. First, they made us sit outside, luckily it was warm when we arrived but we left as soon as we paid bc it was getting windy and we were cold. But the moral is we weren't even asked if we wanted to sit inside and there was no one inside. We ordered the chips and salsa, look at the pic. The ratio is WAY OFF. Needless to say we asked for more salsa and it was $5 extra. On top of that, the "fresh housemade" chips must have been made last week and left out bc they were chewy. I got the lobster burrito which was $27, not worth it, and small. So for a Dr.pepper, chips and salsa, and a burrito, I paid $41. I'm not sure how this place stays in business or how it has 4.2 stars, but like I said I won't be back, and I'd recommend going to just about any other one of the great Mexican places there are in valpo.

Prices are outrageous based on the quality of food. There's alot better options locally for half the prices.

Great food and the staff are out of this world. Seems they're moving to downtown Valpo, can't wait for them to reopen.

Once we checked in with the hostess for our reservation we waited ~10 minutes to be seated and quickly greeted by our waiter Guillermo (so sweet and very friendly). We ordered our adult beverages (both very refreshing and tasty especially on a hot summer day) and flautas as an appetizer. The flautas are definitely big enough to share or as an entree. Guillermo provided great food selections and we decided on the quesabirrias and Molcajete. We were both silent for the first 5 minutes because we were enjoying our meal...the flavors were exquisite! Make sure to make a reservation...this was at 5:15 on a Saturday and it was packed! Walk-ins were definitely waiting for a table. Also be prepared that the noise level is a tad loud and the tables are close together.

Unfortunately today, the service was really bad. Liz, was our waitress and consistently showed me attitude, just saying no to things, etc. Just not a good experience at all. I am fine with hearing no, but there's a way to talk when you're hospitality well. On to the food. Red sauce cheese enchilada - good Green sauce cheese echilada - others loved it, but it's too tangy for me Guacamole - fine and better with fresh jalepenos added Veggie Tacos - meh.. probably the worst item of the day Veggie Quesadilla - it was fine to good Based on this trip, I think I would still come back and just hope to not have the same waitress. Btw, the rest of the staff, walking around were very nice and thoughtful, but how much do you really interact with them. So anyway, we'll see how it goes.

The vibes & decor is so cute. Mid century modern with pastel colors. Reminds me of Palm Springs. Our server was so sweet & offered menu suggestions. For a drink, I went with the post limon beer. It was so refreshing. Seriously one of my favorites for summer. Shareable plates is the way to go. We got to try more menu items. We started with the bread service. It came with whipped hot honey butter. So good. Next was the watermelon salad with cucumber, jalapeños, and Cojita cheese. Refreshing & delicious. Last up was the chicken sando & Cajun seasoned French fries with an aioli. The sandwich was crispy & the bun was soft. I loved it. The fries were crispy & perfect. The amount of fries was great, but I could have had more of the aioli or ketchup also. We didn't get dessert, although the 3 on the menu looked amazing. Maybe next time. Can't wait to come back.

I was surprised to learn from 7a-1p, through Labor Day the outdoor seating belonged to Infusco, the food truck located on the property which serves coffee, cold brews and assorted breakfast items, which is a great option if you're staying in downtown New Buffalo and want a casual outdoor quick bite and coffee! There is a host stand located outside and indoors which makes checking in for reservations convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful and our server made sure to explain their tapas-style dining. We enjoyed most of our food, we all loved the grilled chicken Caesar salad and bang bang shrimp; however, felt the scallops were just ok. Overall, the food was tasty and served hot.
