What was meant to be a simple, enjoyable outing turned into an experience that left them feeling dismissed and unwelcome. Our staff member reported that while she was placing individual orders for each person in our group of six, the cashier became visibly irritated and closed the service window after the second order--without explanation. She had to knock on the window just to get someone to return and complete the remaining orders. This behavior is unacceptable under any circumstances, but especially when serving seniors who rely on patience and courtesy. Shortly afterward, while the ladies were seated at a table, one of your employees removed the umbrella that was providing them with shade. These are older adults, and shade is not a convenience--it is a matter of comfort and safety. Removing it without offering an alternative or explanation showed a disregard for their well‑being. We understand that employees may have long days, but none of this justifies treating customers--particularly vulnerable seniors--in such a dismissive manner. Our intention was to give these ladies a pleasant treat. Instead, they were made to feel like an inconvenience.

I was debating between the Vietnamese coffee and the Creamy Jasmine drink, but since this was just a small evening treat, I didn't want something as strong as Vietnamese coffee. I ended up ordering the Jasmine milk tea. I made the mistake of choosing regular ice and regular sweetness. After my first sip, I was surprised at how sweet it was -- I don't remember Teaspoon drinks being quite this sweet before. If I could redo my order, I would definitely go with 25% sweetness. I actually ended up diluting my drink with a bit of water to balance it out. That said, the boba itself was great -- perfectly chewy and fresh. The shop was also very clean, nicely laid out, and had plenty of tables to sit and relax. There was also plenty of parking outside, which is always a plus.
