I had a pleasant experience visiting this store recently, and Parker did a great job taking my order and seemed very chill and nonchalant. Other staff were also friendly, it was not busy at all inside when I went. It seemed to be mostly mobile orders and the drive thru. I spoke with one of the managers Mackenzee who helped address some concerns I had after visiting another location, really appreciated that and the professionalism. This store was nice and clean, would be a good place to hang out and get work done. Thanks for the friendly and caring service! Even those small interactions can make a difference. As a side note, the person who designed the parking lot should have chosen a different career. Also quite a bit of vagrancy nearby, just something to be aware of, though it's more an issue near the AutoZone / bus stop. Since when is it ever ok to have restroom closed for 25 minutes because they didn't want anyone using it until the floor was 100% dry. Did they not use Hot water????? When asked they refused to let me use it. His response was they are not allowed to let anyone in until the floor is completed dry. They have 2 restrooms and have both closed at the same time. Judging by the majority of reviews, my experience may have been a fluke, but I found this to be one of the better SBUX locations in the entire area...which really doesn't say much. I came in this morning while I was waiting on my car audio installation down the street. It was a surprise to walk in to a nice, clean and peaceful coffee shop where you don't have to raise your voice to place your order. I do believe this may be the first time that I have used the words nice, clean and peaceful when referring to a Starbucks. The staff members were friendly and worked diligently to keep their orders moving. My Venti White Mocha (Hot) was perfect. This location is spacious, and nicely appointed with plenty of tables and chairs. There is a drive-thru for your convenience and umbrella tables out front where you can sit with your iPad and catch up on your Yelp reviews. read more

COVID-19 I took the drive thru and ordered a tall nonfat sugar free cinnamon dolce latte. The line was long and moved fast. The worker was masked and very nice. I paid for it and the worker handed me my drink and wished me a good day! Appreciated! They do allow outside seating during these times. The drink was hot and delicious! on a saturday late afternoon our last stop before leaving visalia the nearest choice to pick up 2 drinks. The location nice store with lots of seating area, holiday items were out and chilled display filled with sandwiches , juices , salads etc... it was not busy and took 20mins for 2 non speciality drinks a tall and venti size. This usually is my go to Starbucks. However today we went through the drive thru. Ordered three drinks. But when we were at the window they only gave me two drinks. I asked the young kid didn't I order three drinks. He told me, "oh we were out of the tea, and I didn't charged you." But you didn't tell me you were out of the ingredients to make the tea. And you didn't give me the option to order another drink. He just kept staring at me and telling me I didn't charge you. Yes, why would you charge me for a drink that you can't provided? You also took my ability to order another drink? So one person in the car doesn't have a beverage because this kid didn't think it was important enough to tell me they could not fulfilled her drink. This Starbucks is never a great experience. You are either constantly waiting for your drink, or the drink order is wrong. Last weekend I had a drink that was made incorrectly not once, but twice...and they acted like I was a bother for their mistakes. First on intercom gentleman sounded like he was having a great day, car in front of me payed and got her drink could see his smile. There is me and one other person inside ordering and a small 4 car line in the drive thru. I ordered the usual venti Carmel macchiato. It seriously took almost 10 minutes to get the guy in front of me to get his drink and thankfully mine was ready a few minutes later. Going here is such a gamble because you either get an ok drink or an undrinkable one. Avoid going here at all costs they mess up my drink every single time and my friends. Save your money and most importantly your time by avoiding this one. The worst service as well my last experience was literally 30 minutes ago and the girl said " I need you to come closer to the window I can only reach so far ," in a very rude tone. Then proceeded to not even extend at all to hand me my drink. I had to reach so far and it spilled on me. This really made me feel like she spit in my drink or something when I wasn't even rude.. also it wasn't even that far. I don't know why each employee at this location has a bad attitude. This used to be my favorite Starbucks in Visalia but it has continued to go downhill. Tonight was ridiculous! First they told us that they chocolate coffee frappucino was seasonal and they couldn't make now until next season (just had one 3 days ago). Then I ordered a mocha frappucino with an extra shot (normally I get it with half the mocha and two extra shots, but it was late & thought I'd take it easy). I don't know what she did but the drink was horrendous! It was bitter and had a very unpleasant aftertaste. I took it back because I couldn't drink. I was told it was my fault, she made the drink perfect & any time you get an extra shot it will be bitter! WTF!! Nice to know since I've been drinking them for at least 12 years! She refused to remake the drink unless she did it her way without the shot I paid for and adding extra mocha. No, I don't want it that way! I gave up and tried to order the Cafe Espresso Frappucino with an extra shot (my recent favorite). I was told no!! She told me I was dumb and that would be more bitter!! I decided to get a Chai and leave before I pulled her over the counter and strangles her!! What ever happened to customer service?! Where in the hell was her manager and why was someone with no customer skills at the counter?! To top it off, the Chai Frappucino was watery and too sweet to drink! What a waste of money. I went on my break around 9:30am and they were really busy. I had to wait 10 minutes just to order a basic cup of coffee and for the barista to acknowledge me. The hot coffee is not listed on the menu, but on the coffee pots themselves. I asked the barrista to put the remaining change on my starbucks card, but was told i had to put a minimum of $5 on it. Fine. I went to the creamer station and they were out of stir sticks. I had to wait again to get one. When i told the barrista they were out, she looked at me, rolled her eyes and kept making coffees. I don't come to this starbucks very often, but i was highly disappointed. read more

This has been my go to place for a while even though I live down the street from the downtown location. But lately they are super slow. I place my mobile order for the reason that I need to be at work on time and I swear the majority of the time my order isn't ready. Yesterday was the last straw. I ordered my coffee off the mobile app and it took me about 25 minutes to get there and my coffee still hadn't been done and to top it off when I did get it it was made incorrectly. Very slow incompetent service here. Don't waste your time or your money. It took 15 minutes based on the time stamp on my receipt to get a plain ol' latte. I wasn't aware that this involved such a time consuming process, especially with 4 people working behind the counter. I was the only person in line yet people who arrived after me got their more complicated drinks before I did. I had to inquire twice before they finally checked on my simple order. The manager had little explanation other than some rambling excuse about how "things get busy".
