So vigilante is keeping 3 adults moving. Whenever we get beans, they are fresh roasted within the week. I love the locally roasted beans and they are always perfect. My FIL loves tin Lizzie and so do I but I have really enjoyed some of their other blends! El Fuego is another go to. They have some great cafe drinks, some good snacks and the seating area is spacious. I am glad the vista location opened to avoid the South O crowds in the thick of summer. I went up politely and asked if something could be done, and they told me they recently changed oatmilk. Totally fair, and I understand the barista followed the process. But since I genuinely didn't like the drink, I asked if they could replace it with something else. They said they could, but I'd have to pay again. It wasn't about the money for me, it just didn't feel like great customer service, especially as someone who comes there often. Just sharing my experience.

It was actually one of the few coffee shops open on Memorial Day, which I truly appreciated. I got there around 10am and it was still pretty quiet, so I had plenty of seating choices. I ended up grabbing the table bar by the window with a street view and honestly loved it (10/10). I ordered a latte, which was decent. By around noon the place was booming and there was even a line to order, so I'm glad I came earlier. Overall, it's a really cute retro-style café with lots of fun little details and decor that give it a lot of character.

She tells me well you told me it was a large and smiles and laughs. That might've been the case but regardless having a waste 45 minutes on my day on the weekend when I'm on my way to SeaWorld to get a drink corrected that this business got wrong isn't a laughing matter. Someone should train the barista that it isn't cool to make fun of a customer who's already in a bad situation because of another barista at your organization. The lack of customer service really is an issue. You guys have a great business and product especially in the Oceanside location. Please do better so that this doesn't affect your bottom line and the good name of the company.
