This is a long overdue review, but Lenise's Café is easily one of the best cafés in Sacramento…read more From the hospitality to the service to how quickly everything comes out, they truly do it all right. I came here for brunch with friends and had an amazing experience. The owner Jeff is incredibly kind and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect with great service, great food, and generous portions. I couldn't even finish my meal and had to take it home, and it still tasted just as good the next day. I've also been here for a friend's birthday during their karaoke wine night and it was such a fun and memorable experience. This place is truly a hidden gem in Sacramento and deserves way more recognition. I highly recommend the tri tip sandwich with their au jus. It is so good. The fries are amazing and their menu has great options from breakfast and brunch to dinner. The steak and potatoes is another standout for dinner and their desserts are also worth trying. Lani is such an amazing person and the overall atmosphere from the staff to the customers just makes you feel welcome. I genuinely love this place and have to stop myself from driving all the way into Sacramento just to eat here all the time.

I've heard a lot of locals rave about Lenise's Cafe, so we finally decided to try it…read more Just a heads up ,this isn't a full sit-down service experience. You order at the counter, grab your own napkins, and condiments are set up in a corner for you to get yourself. Not necessarily a bad thing, but something to know before going in. The biggest surprise for us was the portion sizes. I ordered two pancakes with bacon, eggs, and a side of fruit. The fruit "side" consisted of one grape, one small slice of pineapple, one blueberry, and one slice of strawberry ,it honestly felt more like a garnish than an actual side. The eggs were very small, and the meal didn't come with toast. Even the orange juice was on the smaller side. For two breakfast plates, we paid $47, which felt pretty expensive considering the portions. I'm an average-sized adult and left still feeling hungry... The vibe inside felt a little all over the place, but I did appreciate that they sell and support local products like breads. Overall, I'm glad we tried it since it's talked about so highly, but based on our experience, we probably won't return.

So I stop by my bro Steven's place and ask him where's a good coffee spot around here?…read more A's game is on and this man throws me a fastball right down the middle and absolutely sends it over the fence with The Tree House Cafe didn't even hesitate. Just gave me the address and said "street parking bro... good luck." Pull up and this place looks like your childhood friend's house that grew up, got a little money, found peace and turned into a café . Super cozy, cool vibe and honestly just has personality to it. Walked in and instantly greeted by Elena and let me tell you... Elena wasn't taking orders she was basically an offensive coordinator drawing up plays for breakfast lol . I told her it was my first time and she goes "I got you." That's all I needed to hear. She hooked me up with the Berry Blossom Milk Tea, Ultra Violet iced coffee, blueberry muffin and the breakfast burrito with bacon and avocado. Now the drinks? Solid. That Ultra Violet coffee had lavender, caramel and honey all entering the chat at once like they were forming the Avengers . Somehow it worked. Then came the burrito... now listen... at first I'm sitting there like "alright everybody calm down it's just a breakfast burrito." WRONG. This thing came out throwing hands immediately eggs, potatoes, bacon, avocado all packed into this perfectly toasted tortilla. Then the salsa showed up like a surprise guest star and took the whole thing to another level. I almost looked around for somebody's grandma in the back yelling "make sure that boy leaves full!" Sat outside watching the A's game, drinking coffee, enjoying the breeze and honestly it was the perfect Sunday reset. Steve my brother... you absolutely crushed this recommendation

This is by far my favorite coffee shop in the Sacramento area…read more I love their lattes, and I love their tease even more they have really incredible pastries. I had a s'mores cookie the other day that was to die for and I love their coffee and sandwich options that they provide. I was looking for a nearby coffee shop and saw this was a block away from an appointment. I viewed…read moretheir Instagram page and noticed a lovely new spring menu. The carrot cake latte caught my eye. I placed my order with a friendly barista. She made sure to ask what size drink size (16 oz or 20 oz options for an iced drink) and if regular milk was okay. There were plenty of alternative milk options, but I believe there is an extra fee for adjusting so make sure to ask if that matters. I noticed a nice combo option on one of their signs offering a drink and bagel sandwich for $13, before 2 pm. Specific options only, but I will for sure try that next time. There were seating options inside and outside. It seemed like a decent spot to get some work accomplished in a relatively quiet environment. My drink was prepared quickly and had a good ratio of coffee to cheese foam. The cutest little carrot topping was added too. I actually wished there was a little more ice added to my drink. I went home and added it myself and the iced latte was my ideal temperature.

Super friendly and I really appreciated the quick and friendly service. There is even an outdoor patio! It's huge and has lots of seating!! We got an iced latte with oat milk with the Demerara simple syrup and the yuzu sparkling matcha and it was super refreshing and fizzy! The latte was deep and rich in flavor and was extremely yummy. The cream cold foam was okay, and once everything was mixed together, it didn't taste as watery, but it also took away from the coffee flavor. I'll give it another chance though and update my review. They also offer pastries and breakfast items which looked good from glancing over their menu.

It's open seating and we opted to sit outside, we didn't realize our table (as were all of them) dirty but our waitress noticed and offered to clean to clean it- mind you we were already seated. Another waitress comes by and wipes every bit of crumbs and dirt right onto my lap, irritating. I wiped my lap very obvious and she apologized. My bf ordered a fanta when we were asked about drinks and given about 10 mins to look over the menu. I ordered the Munga Munga (i believe that's the spelling) in burrito form and informed the waitress no feta as I have a dairy allergy. I saw her write it down. My bf again asked for the fanta and she said yes of course. We waited maybe 10-15 mins and out food was out. My bf still didn't have his fanta lol and my burrito came w feta- able to see bc they cut the burrito in half. I noticed right away and they took it back to remake. At this time my bfs fanta comes. Less than 10 mins later I get my refire. This particular omelette was supposed tp have Louisiana hot link sausage but it must've been cut very fine bc I could barely see any meat and there wasn't any flavor to it at all. I added some tobasco and pepper but I'm thinking I should've added salt too. Cool. I ate maybe half of half the burrito and a few bites of hash browns (that also had no flavor) and was ready to go. Less than 4 hrs later I had awful cramps and diarrhea. It's clear they don't take allergies seriously here. My bf ordered chicken fried steak and he said it was delicious tho. Me personally, I'm good on coming back. Food thrown out, they likely cook eggs in butter or mix egg beaters w milk.
