We stopped in because we had heard they were serving cinnamon rolls and have been exploring gas stations and convenience stores with hidden food gems. From what I've read, this used to be Spinners but has been taken over by different ownership and if currently Sutterville 76. They do still have hot food inside- when we visited they had a variety of egg rolls but apparently you need to stop in earlier in the day for cinnamon rolls. It's a bit tight inside, but they pack a good amount of drinks and snacks in, including some that I haven't seen in other places. When we visited the same person as running the food counter and the regular purchase counter, so you'll need to let someone know if you're looking for the hot food. Since they were out of cinnamon rolls, we ended up buying a couple drinks and some candy- we found Squashies here. We'll have to stop back in earlier in the day and update the review when we try more of their offerings. read more

My first time trying this place since the new owners took over and changed the name from Spinners, First, parking is minimal, its in side a gas station, and I popped in around 8:30am, so they only had 2 types of cinnamon rolls, I got the apple filled, and the Cinnamon with Walnuts, as well as a ham and cheese croissant. Rolls were 6.95 each, croissant must have been avout 5 as my total was 20.40,price is a little high, but I was very happy that the quality is still fantastic The cinnamon with walnuts was just drilping with buttery richness and sweet, thus the walnuts playing a much needed role in cutting the sweetness. The Apple filled was maybe a notch below, but still fantastic. Ham and Swiss croissant reheated quite nicely and was a great savory bite. Im very happy that the quality hasn't changed with the new owners, I will return ! read more

Have been coming here for years as a land park resident. Recently, new ownership has taken over the gas station and spinners. I like the new selection of products in the store but the last four times I have gone to pickup cinnamon rolls, nothing is available. It's hard to maintain something that was built over the course of several years, so I do understand, but I think they should focus more on maintaining the reputation this place once had. read more

Let's just say they didn't look the freshest, or have much frosting, but decided to give them a go anyways. Apparently you must come early. I came in for the bathroom and they had said you need to buy something, I said that's fine can I use that bathroom and they said only after purchase... that's just my experience, I really needed to use the bathroom but I rather go in a cup then go there. Went the other day to buy a couple of cinnamon rolls formerly (Spinners) and I am sad to say they are now terrible. Spinners were thick and tasty spun maybe three times. This is the infamous Land Park 76 gas station that added a "Spinners" cinnamon roll outlet to its property. Spinners is better known as an Old Sac landmark, and the gas station owners were able to provide this brand at their station. A bit of background- Spinners was added on to the existing building and open for a short few months, only to have a horrible fire burn down the property. The extensive remodel had taken a significant amount of time and money, and many in the area thought they would not rebuild...but they did! In the last few months they completely rebuilt the gas station AND cinnamon roll business. The owners have put a lot of time and care into making it look even better. I have seen gas stations with restaurants attached, so why not a bakery? I have yet to try a cinnamon roll, but I have purchased fuel and other snacks here many times and the store is clean and orderly. The prices are average, and it's in a convenient place across from Land Park and Sprouts Market. Every time I stop by I can smell the delicious baked cinnamon just waiting for me. The Land Park community is lucky to have a cool little bakery / gas station on this corner. read more

I absolutely loved spinners that was one of the things that I miss the most about living in Sacramento now that I live in the Bay Area! So this past Mother's Day weekend I decided to stop and see if there was a new cinnamon roll place in place of spinners and to my surprise there was! I've read everyone's comments and personally for me I did not think the cinnamon rolls were as bad as everyone's making thim out to be!mine was fresh soft I feel like it could have used that extra melted butter that I used to have the old owners scrape up and put on top of the cinnamon rolls but other than that it was moist delicious and I will go back cuz at the end of the day I still think it's better than Cinnabon also if you're looking for a good cinnamon roll Ginger Elizabeth has fire cinnamon rolls take it home microwave it for 8 seconds and it comes to life or you could just eat it outright cold which I used to do all the time read more

Went in to buy gas in a 1.5 gallon can. The pump will not accept my credit card and made me go in. They asked me how much I wanted to put in. I told them the size of gas can. What used to be the best Cinnamon rolls in Sacramento is now a bland, dry and very bad shell of what it used to be. Spinners made thick, moist Cinnamon rolls with plenty of frosting and toppings. These rolls are thin, dry, and cheap. By the look of it, I had a feeling that the new owners would cut costs and make a cheaper version of what used to be sold here, and it's worse than we imagined. The gas station has either been sold to a new owner or under new management. Either way, the staff are not very considerate. They don't answer your questions directly. Many times they don't know how to answer the questions that you have that are very basic for a gas station. They also don't attend to the problems that exist. One day I went to inflate the tires of my car, and the hose for the air did not recoil properly. I told the staff about it, and he just seemed to be in different about it. Another day, one of the pumps for gasoline wouldn't continue to process my credit card and when I told the staff about it, he just glared at me and didn't know what to say. I kept trying to explain to him, but the more I said things the more he ignored me and just looked at me. I guess if you have to get gas without talking to the staff, this might be OK. What distinguishes LP Mart is that its the Sacramento Food & Gas equivalent of "Cheers" where everybody knows your name...They have the nicest and friendliest staff in town and always greet you warmly. They keep the gas prices much lower than other stations in the area which is surprising given their freeway access. We locals appreciate Larry and the gang! read more
