Wow, this was our first time stopping at a Buc-ee's and it was pretty amazing for a gas station…read more They have TONS of gas pumps, so zero waiting. Their bathrooms are spotless. Shopping was very fun! We bought T-shirts for the family, hats, magnets and a variety of other things. Best of all was the food. We tried the brisket sandwich and Carolina pulled pork sandwich, along with some Beaver chips (homemade potato chips). We bought fudge to go and it was the best fudge I've ever eaten. The jerky selection was next-level and the jerky we tried was amazing. I really wish we had one closer to home but at least we have one in our home state of Arizona now.

O-Kay Buc-ees show me what you've got…read more Me, one hour later: "holy hell". It's a touristy gift shop, with some specialty items, lots of buc-ees branded merch, convenience store style hot food items, coffee, stuff for your car, your pets and you, your kids, your sweetie. I'm not sure if it's a mini mall, an expanded truck stop convenience store, or a glaring testament to consumerism. What makes it different from the usual convenience store might be the bbq cutting station with periodic group shouts from the guys working that area. I have no idea what they were saying, but it happened pretty regularly and you could hear it all over the store. And let's talk about the fudge station. Oh yes .... Winner on that. Still, it's a convenience store, a couple of steps above the norm, but once you get beyond the circus-y vibe, it's an experience that leaves me with the meh mindset for a repeat. Except maybe for that fudge and the people working the checkout counters ...

Not my gas station of choice as it is right off the interstate and prices off I25 tend to be more…read morepricey. But the times that I have been in : -Staff has been pleasant -store has been clean -they have a lot of typical gas station fare -gas station is easy to get in and out of because there is a light there. no real complaints other than because of their location they have higher gas prices.

Stopped by the Loaf N Jug on Main St. in Windsor CO to put some air in a low tire. Air machine…read moreoperated with quarters or credit card. Since it cost extra to use a credit card I opted to use quarters. Went into the store to get change. Told the clerk I needed quarters for the air machine. I gave her $2 in bills and received quarters. She said nothing about the air machine. I put in my quarters and nothing happened. Air machine would not work. I went back inside the store and talked to another clerk who informed me that the air machine did not work when you used quarters. She said I had to use a credit card. I told her I had already put $1,50 in the machine. She said there was nothing she could do because Loaf N Jug did not own the machine. I said why wasn't there a sign on the air machine telling people not to use quarters. She said she thought there was one. So the only option I had was to pay another $1.75 using my credit card hoping that it worked. Needless to say I left and will never shop at that store ever.
