I had the pleasure of visiting this gem last Friday. I ordered a quad espresso and was there for a meeting. My drink was delivered to me hot, in a small white cup, as I was speaking with the group I was meeting with.......and delicious! Wow! Blown away! This is the most thoughtful created coffee shop. Hits all 5 stars. Conference room to rent, outdoor back patio, spacious indoor with comfy chairs to work in, plugs in the tables. Then 5/5 for the coffee options, chai, matcha, and holy cow the breakfast options. Made there burritos, avocado toast and a huge selection of baked goodies. Lots of seating. They also have a few standing desks for those that want to bounce between sitting and stading while working. Wifi is strong. Can be a bit loud after 3pm. Great spot for study sessions with friends and colleagues. Coffee is pretty good. Service: leaves some room for improvement. Staff seems to be bare minimum nice. This is a bittersweet post - when I originally went to this coffee shop pre-pandemic it had different owners. I found it to be a cozy spot, pricing comparable to other coffee spots, and the customer service was great. I've tried this spot a couple times post-pandemic and I'm just not impressed or happy with it anymore. Pricing has gone way up, menu isn't accurate/updated and the staff seems more intent on entertaining themselves than providing service. I asked for a dirty chai that wasn't super sweet and was recommended to try the Indian Chai. I paid $6.14 for 8oz of something that tasted like gingerbread. Not only was it overpriced, I had to go looking for my drink because they don't call out your name or drink, they set it on a bar with all the all the other drinks going out. The shop itself is a really nice location with plenty of seating, and the pastries at the front look amazing, but unfortunately, this isn't the coffee shop for me. read more

I am visiting Colorado this weekend and was told I had to try the chai from this coffee shop. I loved the environment and the friendliness of the baristas. There is a lot of space to sit and the music bops are shwae. They serve the chai from a nitro tap, and it was delicious! And you can get it hot, cold, spiced, or vanilla. Very busy and popular hangout for (mostly men) who come there to hold early morning meetings. Plenty of room for a crowd, though. Nice to see local folks support small businesses. As with all businesses these days, this one was understaffed and the wait time to receive a drink was lengthy. Ordered a matcha latte -- which is my "true test" as a good one is hard to make. What a great treasure! This place is buzzing like a bee's nest. Located in a strip mall in downtown Windsor, with it's tinted windows and low profile you'd miss it if you didn't know it was there. Starbucks watch out as if this company were somehow able to duplicate their processes they'd be king of coffee. They have the standard coffee and mochas as well as your traditional tea options. The food choices are varied and of those I've tried have been very good. The pricing is on the higher side, and the service can get a bit backed up while they are really busy; however their online ordering app permits you to avoid standing in line - and they will bring your ordered Coffee and food to you. They also have some very generous awards if you use their app and are a frequent imbiber of caffeine exploits. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are friendly. The only draw back is that it is such a great place; if you come too early you run into the religious groups - who aren't very friendly - which is quite ironic - who take over a large swath of seating to discuss the golden rule (i presume as that is what this group really needs to work on) while reading a few chapters from the good book. They might let you join them if that's your thing? There is also a "back room" where you can reserve (for a fee???) some time if you want to have a meeting, network or just hang out with 10-15 like minded individuals that is quiet and out of view from the rest of the establishment. In any case - I highly recommend this little cove of coffee and whether it is early morning or mid afternoon, this place doesn't disappoint. read more

Their food is good when they have it. Don't go expecting to get something to eat as it's very hit and miss whether or not they have any of the items on their limited menu. I was looking for a coffee/WiFi spot in Windsor that I could stay at for about an hour, when I found Coffee 29 on Yelp. Coffee House 29 is the epitome of a coffee house based off their traditional menu and warm service. All the employees were personable, knowledgeable and very pleasant. I ordered a 12 oz Iced chai and it was simply AMAZING. A little more on the sweet side, but that's how I like it! There is also 15% chais on Friday's and an offer for every day of the week. The seating and all the space between the couches was oh so splendid and in the end, I took way too long deciding where to sit. I didn't expect to find myself in the tiny town of Windsor, CO, but last night, there I was. I had an hour to spare, so I decided to check out Coffee House 29. I loved the look of the place - a wide open space with lots of comfy couches - and my son dashed excitedly over to the toy boxes they had for kids. I really, really enjoyed my latte. The place definitely had an insular, small town vibe with religious magazines everywhere, and it seemed that everyone there knew each other from church. I also thought the espresso drinks were too pricey and none of the bakery items looked fresh. But all in all, it was a very pleasant way to spend an hour and I'd definitely go back if I had reason to visit Windsor again. read more

Coffee House 29 is a great place to meet and have coffee! The space is wide open with lots of seating. The staff has always been exceptionally friendly and I have enjoyed the coffee when I have been there. I have not explored any of the specialty drinks because I am typically a black coffee drinker. Most recently I met here with a group of about 10 people. We were allowed to use the back room as a meeting space, but I imagine that room is typically used by reservation. While I haven't been overly impressed with the coffee, it is certainly good coffee and this is a great place to come for study or hanging out with a friend. read more

The coffee was good and service was okay, however the establishment is entirely unsafe COVID wise. The baristas weren't wearing masks, nobody who entered or walked around was wearing a mask, tables were not socially distanced, and it was astonishing. Also there was no music playing which at times made the atmosphere even more hellish. I hope they correct their ways to allow for people to feel safe in the establishment. read more
