The seats are large, and there's a lot of space between rows, so it doesn't feel claustrophobic like traditional theaters can. I didn't order anything, and most people didn't either, and it wasn't weird. If you need accessible parking, there are multiple spots right outside the door. I went to two different showings: one in a regular theater and one in the Big Show auditorium. I found the sound quality in the regular theater to be a bit tinny, though the subs are nice. However, I do sound for a living, so the average person will feel the sound quality here is way, way better than what they have at home. Be aware that the regular theaters are not Dolby Atmos. The Big Show is indeed Atmos, and it's a cool experience to have sound in all three dimensions. However, the noise floor in the Big Show was a serious problem when I was there. The AC system was loud to my ears. The noise kills the vibe when you're watching something that is supposed to have silent moments. I have no idea why they would put a unit inside the auditorium rather than down the hall with acoustic ductwork. If they'd do something about the loud background noise in the theater, I'd give the place five stars.

They don't mention the 20% tip they add if you don't close your tab at the end of the movie. Seriously? Phone in pocket didn't check to close tab. Got the warning after we drove home. Our evening went downhill from there...After our order was taken, and our food brought out, we never saw our server again. I finished my prosecco and never got the opportunity to order a second glass. Eventually, I told my 6-year-old to wait while I went and asked for a dessert menu. At which point I mentioned that we never saw our server. The woman at the stand handed me dessert menus and said someone would be with us shortly. A different server came and took our dessert order. But after dessert was brought to us, once again we were ignored. When I tell you that we could've gotten up and left and never paid, nobody would have noticed. That's how much we were ignored. I was fucking pissed at this point. I got up with my child to go complain when the server quickly noticed and asked if everything was ok...fuck no it's not ok! Quickly gave him my room number and said that the evenings service was atrocious. And we walked away. And if the service was bad, the food was worse. When I tell you a DiGiorno pizza is better than their rendition of a margarita pizza, it's not an exaggeration. My pizza literally had four tiny sprigs of basil. And their olive paste garnish on it is unnecessary. Their twist on the margarita pizza was not appetizing. I can't complain about their fries though. It was basically the only thing we ate that we enjoyed. Their guacamole was rough too. Lacked flavor. The dessert was the biggest disappointment, food-wise. It appeared to be a brownie baked on a chocolate chip cookie, cut into a pie slice. It was HARD. I gave up trying to get my spoon through it. Needed a steak knife. The ice cream was fine. After this experience, we decided we would not be eating at the restaurant for the rest of our time at the hotel. We went and picked up food or ordered in. The bartenders seemed nice, but once the afternoon hit, my daughter had to wait over 30 minutes for a Shirley Temple to be brought to the pool. After waiting too long I decided to get up and go to the bar and ask what was going on. Her Shirley Temple was sitting there at the bar, and they had accidentally put it in a typical glass, which is not permitted at the pool. The bartender apologized because the server who had taken my order at the pool, did not relay to the bartender that the order was for the pool area. All in all, I would never eat here again. As a local, it's disappointing because the ambience is nice. But the food is overpriced and not even close to being good. And as for the service? My God. This was officially the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at. Ever. When the manager of the hotel asked how our stay was, I casually mentioned that the restaurant was lacking in a lot of ways. But I didn't expand on the experience. However, I was surprised to see that the manager had taken off the meals from the charges to my room when I checked out. And I sincerely appreciate that. I never asked for it, but was appreciative as it was unexpected. Bottom line. The hotel is a nice stay, and I plan on staying again. But you couldn't pay me to eat at that restaurant.

The Brick Chicken [so amazingly delicious] no easy way to explain it except completely exceptional. A must try for sure!! Ended with the Yuzu Matcha Cake. The Ahi was a fair portion for what I expected from the prix fixe menu. The flavor was nicely balanced, and the fish was beautifully seared while remaining tender inside. Overall, a well-executed dish. The Hamachi, unfortunately, wasn't something I'd order again. The fish flavor was unusually pronounced in a way that wasn't particularly pleasant. It came across as slightly off and overshadowed the rest of the dish. The second course was also mixed. The Bavette steak is a cut fairly close to skirt steak, and it's one where preparation, cooking, and especially slicing can make or break the experience. Unfortunately, this one arrived closer to medium-rare despite my requesting medium. More importantly, it was sliced with the grain. The steak had good beefy flavor, but being undercooked for my preference and sliced with the grain made it exceptionally chewy. I'm also not a fan of having steak pre-sliced before it reaches the table. I prefer to let a steak rest for 5-10 minutes before cutting so the juices can redistribute. In a commercial kitchen, I don't see this happening, also if the steak like this is going to be sliced before serving, I'd prefer it be sliced against the grain. The dry-aged New York strip was much better. It arrived sliced into strips and was cooked exactly to the requested medium. The aging process brought out a pronounced, beefy flavor, and the portion was a good size. There was some gristle, as you'd expect with a New York strip, but here I would have preferred some of the tougher exterior gristle to have been trimmed a bit more aggressively before cooking. Dessert was the highlight of the meal. The pastry/dessert chef is working at a level above the other courses. I rarely order chocolate desserts because chocolate has become just so vanilla as a safe, uninspired and predictable choice. That was absolutely not the case here. The dark chocolate tart was outstanding. It was intensely rich and unapologetically dark, with a depth of chocolate flavor that made it much more interesting than the typical chocolate dessert. The portion was surprisingly generous considering how powerful the dish was. The butterscotch pudding with fresh fruit was equally impressive, but in a completely different direction. My first thought was, fruit and butterscotch? Those aren't two flavors that play well together. But the pairing seemed audacious enough that there had to be a reason for it, and there was. The fruit was clearly selected with care, and the quality showed. The butterscotch pudding was beautifully made. It was firm enough to hold its shape, but exceptionally smooth, with a gentle, well-controlled sweetness. Each component tasted great on its own, but combining them was where the dish really came alive. The fruit's brightness and acidity cut through the richness of the butterscotch, creating a surprisingly balanced combination. That dessert alone is worth coming back for. Service was outstanding. We were never rushed, and the pacing felt very natural. Courses came out when we were ready rather than being pushed along. The staff was friendly, attentive, and worked together seamlessly. Environmentally, the wood themed interior (think sequoia) is attractive, the beverage menu is a wood binder the the plates have a tree slice, wood-cookie, cross-cut look. Although it can get cold. There's a ceiling register that sends air directly down the wall and onto the tops of your head, neck, and shoulders. If you're sensitive to cold air, your table location may make a difference. And while they do change silverware between courses, they also place silverware directly on the table. All-in-all a good dining experience with the edges to clean-up.

My husband was especially disappointed because we had called ahead specifically to avoid this exact situation. What made the experience even more disappointing was that there didn't seem to be much effort to make the situation better after we explained that we had called ahead. Worst of all, when I asked if i could get a side of *any vinegar* to be able to make just like a basic mignonette-ish option, their response was that they have *no vinegar* anywhere in the restaurant. I don't know how you brand yourself fully on a type of food (oysters), and then serve them ONLY in a way where you can't actually taste them! Also had a grilled artichoke app, which was fine, but again served only with a spicy sauce. Our server was great, I didn't catch her name though!
