Managed to snag a couple seats to watch a movie here and was disappointed that they only had seats left in the second and third rows. (Our fault for being spontaneous) But, we were pleasantly surprised by how great the seats were still! No need to crane our necks or lean all the way back. There didn't seem to be a "bad" seat in the theater! This location provided huge reclining seats, and has incredibly attentive and hard-working staff members. They brought us lots of waters and checked in on us discreetly several times. I ordered the Caesar salad wrap with light dressing. It was full of protein, fresh greens, and wrapped perfectly!

This is a fun cinema . You can order food like pizza , chicken nugget , pasta , buttered popcorn . On top of soft drinks, they have a cocktails and beers menu . You place the order from your seat . Then a staff would deliver the food and drink to your seats like a restaurant. One of the order we had was bottomless popcorn and ice water . Both are refillable during the movie . The bowls , plates and cups are not paper so they recycle them . Seats are adjustable. The cinema is newer and I love the idea of sipping a cocktail inside the dark cinema . They are pricy like $15 for one cocktail.

I recently attended the Cinequest Film Festival in March held at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. I saw 'This Tempting Madness' and our whole experience was great. The movie itself was very riveting and entertaining. This was further enhanced by the great theater sound, picture clarity and super comfy reclining seats. After the film, we also got to check out the arcade and claw machines on the same floor. To finish the night off, we went upstairs to the large bar they have on the 3rd floor. All in all, it was definitely a great theater to watch a movie. We for sure will be back again!

Amazing experience! This is a first class movie experience with food service, Comfortable seats, and beautiful ambiance. This is one of the largest theaters I have seen, and a huge screen. The lazy boy seats recline and there is an adjustable table with drink holder. Kudos to the flavorful and diverse menu. We got a tasty well seasoned double burger, hand cut fries, Parmesan chicken tenders. Everything was flavorful. Overall, we will be back for the comfortable ambiance. Easy free parking and lots of video arcade games.

Plus! Why is there a homeless person at this hour in front of the theater? You all have bigger fish to fry

Wow! They don't let you in the theater if you are late! So my family was already inside seated and on time I went to the wrong theater and the movie had started 5 after I got there, plus the guy at the counter with glasses was extremely rude about it, assuming I was going to not follow the stupid late policy rule. Guess I'll miss the movie with my niece and nephews

Went yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by everything at this theater. If not sold out I recommend buying tickets onsite to avoid service fees. Seats are pretty comfortable. They don't fully recline which I would have liked but because they serve food and drinks I kinda get it. You can use a QR code to order or someone comes around. You only order from your seat. No buying in the lobby. The process was easy. Food came fast. I was amazed at the popcorn. It comes in a real stainless steel bowl. Super nice touch. And it was delicious. Free refills - unless you're sharing you will not need one. Drinks come in nice plastic glasses. Large size and free refills as well. The menu has a lot of great food and drink options. Lots of beers and cool cocktails too. The staff were so friendly and very accommodating. To be fair, my friend and I were the only 2 people in the theatre so I can't say how service is when very busy. But I suspect it will be great. Overall a great experience. I like it's more of an Indy theatre. They show older movies as well as new releases.

Going up and down the escalators in the lobby adds to the immersive experience of actually going to the movies. The concessions area is always packed, but at least there's ample space so you never feel jammed in. The popcorn is actually good, you get to butter it yourself, and the staff doesn't make you feel like a burden. The theater halls are wide and brightly lit, and the seats are by far the most comfortable AMC has to offer. My past two experiences here actually convinced me to upgrade to A-List because I found myself wanting to come here more often. It was a nightmare and before I get into why let me first say I absolutely LOVED seeing the Odyssey in a normal theater. From the start with the Tech's Dome there were issues. We arrived 33 minutes early and already it seemed that there were 3/4 of the people the theater could fit in line. We waited for about 20 minutes in the summer heat to get in. They let us in before the movie started. Went to get seats first since they aren't assigned and they were the worst movie theater seats I've seen in years! Crammed like sardines. I fly often for work and am more comfortable riding coach on a plane. Then I went to get popcorn and water and the line was so long with just one register. By the time I got into the theater the movie was nearly 10 minutes in ... and they had a bunch of people still in line behind me. Now the worst of it... You can't see a damn thing in the Dome. Forget about sitting high up - that wasn't even the issue. It was that the movie was blurry and especially blurry if there was quick movement - and this is an action movie! I knew what was coming and how it was supposed to look since I had seen it a few weeks previously and I could barely make out what was happening. I felt bad for my friend I invited who hadn't yet seen the movie. He had the line of the night as we walked out: "Well.. it seemed like it was a dope movie"... You see a movie like this at the Dome and you'll get robbed of actually SEEING the movie. Just don't do it. Oh and when it was over they let the first credit of directed by Christopher Nolan come on screen then abruptly cut the music and announced on the PA system how to exit the theater

Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The seats were comfortable, but the theater had a musty smell. We were also assigned wheelchair-accessible seats even though we didn't request or need them. The food selection was decent, but once the movie started, concessions were no longer available. The biggest issue was the movie presentation. We watched The Invite starring Seth Rogen, Olivia Wilde, Penélope Cruz, and Edward Norton, but the experience was ruined by repeated buffering and playback glitches. At one point, the movie stopped completely. Since there wasn't anyone actively monitoring the auditorium, staff had to go find someone, which took about 10 minutes, and then bring them back to restart the film. With only two small auditoriums, we expected a smoother operation. Previous reviews gave us hope, but our visit fell well short of expectations. It's especially disappointing because this theater is so convenient for us. As much as we'd like to support independent theaters, we'll likely drive to Mountain View or Redwood City for a more reliable movie-going experience in the future.

Chilled Dasani waters are $5.50 for a small bottle & $6.50 for a large. There's even a Food Mobile Ordering system and pickup area which makes it very convenient. We were able to get to our seats afterwards during the previews which lasted 27 minutes. Leather cushioned reclining seats were really comfortable & reclined far. The seats are THAT comfy. After the movie we used the restrooms which are plentiful. We were looking for the Parking Ticket validation machine so we asked the ticket attendant down the escalators. He said it was in a grey box by the top of the escalators. First 4 hours are validated so I inserted my ticket in the machine. Located right in the heart of downtown Redwood City, it's super convenient, and we usually park in the nearby lot since parking gets validated with a movie ticket. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they clean and sweep each auditorium after every showing. If you ever notice leftover popcorn or messes, that's typically from patrons. They do routine cleanups between shows, with deeper cleaning happening after closing, so it really helps when everyone tidies up after themselves to keep the experience enjoyable for the next guests. Being part of the Movie Club is another big perk! It's $11.99 per month, and unused tickets roll over; so I honestly haven't paid full price for a movie since the program started (even before the pandemic). The location also makes it a perfect date-night destination. With great dining options like Sakura across the street, Mazra down the block, and Limon around the corner; not to mention Philz Coffee and Café con Azúcar nearby; you've got endless choices to make a whole evening out of it.

The crust the tomato was served on tasted pre-made, and nothing super special overall. And when the experience is as expensive as it is, I would have liked to see a little more attention to detail all the way through. But again, the scallop and both steak dishes were very delicious, with tender cuts and flavorful purées. It was super cool to learn about the artists and experience such a fun and inactive art experience. The story line was interesting, and the meal was very well paced. Servers were amazing, and overall we did enjoy ourselves. The three starts is really me nit-picking, mainly due to the expectation of the outmost food experience in addition to the video experience.
