I had been coming here for years since its close to my house. However, yesterday when I picked up my dogs, I noticed one of them couldn't open one of her eyes. I immediately called the store and talked to the groomer, she said that my dog was fine (she was not!)and it was just a hair in her eye. My dog was clearly in pain and wouldn't let anyone come close to her eye. I decided to take her to the emergency vet. The emergency vet diagnosed her with a corneal ulcer caused by poor handling while grooming. Her eye is still a bit swollen. I tried to talk to the owner and I asked for an email to send the vet paperwork but I was given a phony email. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE. read more

The good folks at 7 Seas treated my surly badly matted chonker of cat with loving kindness and returned him to me blissed out and sweet smelling. They even gave him a cool bandanna to wear that made him feel like a cool kid. I have found a groomer for my cat companion. read more

I've been taking my dogs there for years & have never had a problem. I was always happy & recommended them to everyone. I recently took my dogs again & they shaved my husky despite me asking for a trim. I spoke with the groomer & she told me that she "liked" how the haircut came out, did not sympathize or apologize for shaving my dog & told me that she didn't care if I went back there or not. Also, they didn't issue me a refund. So if you care for your dog, DON'T TAKE THEM HERE. read more

I would give this place 0 stars. They left a bald spot in the middle of his head. It's really noticeable. They cut him up badly. I walked inside and the groomer was yelling at the dog to "stop" multiple times. My dog is traumatized. I called them and one of the groomers had such a nasty attitude and hung up on me as I was talking. read more

This did not occur recently but I was so traumatized I must tell my story. They let my dog escape and they didn't call and tell me. I had forgotten her food and when I went to drop it off is when I was informed she was gone. At the time they had a service where they picked up my dogs and during the commotion the food was left behind. It took me 5 days to find her . I found her out by the baseball fields . My previous dog was 15 years old when we find had to let him go. For thirteen of those years a particular 7 Seas groomer had taken care of him. Two years before we had to say goodbye to him we were at the groomer once a month because my dog had a problem with his eyes and only this particular groomer and his vet to get his eyes cleaned. Now I have a new fur friend and I wouldn't consider taking him anywhere else than to the groomer who remembered my previous dog and all his antics. It was like coming home again and I feel so comfortable knowing even with boarding I can trust 7 Seas to take great care of my new boy. read more

I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy!!! My daughters ferret got lose a kind man brought it to Seven seas. The next morning my husband was there when they opened. He told them it was our ferret. He was told a coworker took it home bc they aren't equipped to take a ferret, she would be in at eleven with him. My husband goes back up there at one. No ferret on top of that the employee said she needed proof he showed her pics. She still refused to give us our ferret it was a battle. I didn't get my pet home til nine that night after she insisted my husband give her our address phone number etc. Her boyfriend bought him back!! Clearly they are in the wrong business!!! You don't give a employee power to keep a pet that doesn't belong to them. read more

I was told about this place thru a friend she was told a friend uses their service ... i have two dogs tht i have taken here and every time there is multiple issues ... from unprofessional customer service to groomer being inexperienced just don't care and im is all about money ... i was up charged and an employee told me i shouldn't care it's only a few bucks... tht was the last straw !!! it's always this u need me additude and never a friendly environment... it's smell worst then a zoo i. this place and very rude staff ..DONT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!! very disappointed all around every time read more

Boarded our 2 cats for a long weekend. Never boarded them before. These wonderful people took such good care of our babies. 'Tis the flea season and we were concerned they might have gotten them from our dog. They gave them each flea baths, trimmed their nails, cleaned their ears and teeth and put cute Halloween bandanas on them. They were happy to be home but they were so well cared for that if we have to board them again, I will certainly bring them to 7 Seas. Thank you! read more

They offer boarding and grooming services as well as provide you with all your pet needs. Great neighborhood establishment and reasonable grooming prices. I was looking for a new groomer because it's been getting pretty expensive going to Petco. Found this place on yelp. They had good reviews so thought I'd give them a try. I was not disappointed!!! From the initial phone call to make the appointment up to the time I picked my pooch up, the staff was exceptionally pleasant! I am so glad to have found them and I saved half of what I was paying Petco. My dog was much calmer with the groomer as she took the time to let him get to know her before whisking him off from me. I have boarded my dog here twice now. The first was a 3 night stay and the second was a longer 6 night stay. Both times, my dog was well taken care of and happy when I picked him up. The staff is friendly, informative, and professional. They have great hours that accommodate almost any schedule. I will not board my dog anywhere else from now on! read more

I brought in my cat for the first time and I was very pleased with the outcome. He was groomed and nails were cut without leaving any blood trails on his paws like other places have. I used to travel about 30 miles to get him groomed and now that I found this hidden gem closer to home I'm so happy. I'm recommending this place to all of my friends and family. The place is nasty and smells like urine. There's usually a pile or 3 of poop outside the entrance which reeks of ciggies from the overflowing butt can. Once you get past all that though, the staff are friendly animal lovers and the prices are comparable. The groomers do a good job and charge about the same as Pet Co/Smart so there's no real draw unless it's closer to you. I've boarded my pet there and so far it hasn't gotten Parvo or fleas and their prices are great for the area. They also offer treats, massages, and 1:1 time so that's cool. They're a local joint that's been around for decades so I'll keep going there until my furry pal gets a bad hair cut/Parvo, or they increase their boarding prices. Give them a try, they really are good people that dont' have anything to do with the horrid upkeep of the building. read more

This place is pathetic, It smells like shit literally worse than a zoo. I took My cat to get groomed and they called me 2 hours later saying please come get your cat and take her to the Vet because she swallowed too much water and she's Dying. I took her to the Vet right away they had to give her medication and keep her over night. The Bill came out to 200 dollars and all because of their negligence and poor service, To TOP it off I called them about the bill and they said they won't cover that and to go ahead and sew them If I want because they have got sewed before 10 years ago and they won anyway, who says that??? They almost killed my Cat and instead of feeling bad they threaten me! fuckin ridiculous, I will NEVER take any of my pets their again I'd rather keep them alive. read more

I've been taking my dog here for over 20 years and they are always professional and courteous. I even had an issue where I had an emergency and they kept my dog overnight for free due to being a long term customer. Great community store that's been here over 40 years. read more

My sister took her 2 year old cat there to be groomed last week. She had to be euthanized yesterday. While in their care, the cat was drowned and brought back with CPR. She was immediately taken to the vet ; her lungs and stomach were full of water. She ultimately went into mutli-system organ failure and had to be put down. Please do not trust these people with your pets, they are dangerous! read more
