This is the WORST animal hospital I have ever been to!! First of all, roughly 4 1/2 years ago, I had a cat that was seen by them. They charged me over $700 for bloodwork & told me that my cat was diabetic. I got a 2nd opinion from a vet who specialized in cats. This vet took ONE LOOK at my cat & said, "Your cat has cancer." I was FLOORED! The bloodwork (that was a hell of a lot cheaper than $700!) confirmed it. Ever since then, I NEVER went back to Munster Animal for vet visits. Fast-forward to this week, I need to board my cats, & the usual places I board either stopped boarding or are booked. So, I call Muster to ask if they board & they say yes, but the vet needs to see your cats for a wellness check prior. I figured that's fine, both cats have recently seen their regular vet...they are fine. I do a walk-in & I'm already annoyed with them from the start! The girl is having an EXTREMELY hard time checking in 2 cats at the same time. They seem VERY disorganized. The vet came in like a wrecking ball--trying to scruff my cats, catastrophizing every little thing about my cats, insisting on multiple bloodwork & x-rays, giving them all kinds of shots that I had to ask, "What are you giving my cats??", jabbing his thumb in my cats' hipbone to "demonstrate" there might be something wrong...only for the x-ray to show nothing (obviously). And to add insult to injury, this "pre-board wellness check" came out to OVER ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS!!! Due immediately! With 3% interest if paid with a card! WTF!?!? The next day, the vet called with the bloodwork, telling me that my cat has...you guessed it...DIABETES. AND that my cat is at risk of spontaneously bleeding out & MUST be seen back for treatment IMMEDIATELY! After that dramatic phone call, I immediately booked a vet appointment with my regular vet. They called Muster for the records, talked to the Munster vet, checked her out, and took additional bloodwork. Turns out my cat is fine. fat, but fine. On the day of boarding, I schlepped my cats to Munster to board for the weekend, only to (at the last second) ask me about this deadly bleed-out scenario the doctor conjured up. I explain that my vet was talking to their vet about it & I had my vet take the bloodwork because I feel more comfortable if my regular vet sees my cats about serious matters like this. They then began telling me how they can't board my cats because the doctor wanted to see the cat back due to the seriousness of the matter & he won't be back until Monday. I told them, just call my vet now & get the results & they argued with me that I "should have brought in the results myself." WOW! The male nurse (murse) started to cut me off, raise his voice, argue with me, & then storm off!! DOUBLE WOW!! I ended it by telling them (1) If this was a deal-breaker to board my cats, why didn't they call my vet for the results? (2) Why is the Munster vet adamant about a follow-up when I took my cat to her regular vet...does he not trust my vet? Or is this another CASH GRAB?!? (3) If you guys "care so much" about animals here, you'd understand my concerns regarding my LAST cat dying of cancer when your vet misdiagnosed him with DIABETES! And finally - being rude, dismissive, combative, condescending, and sarcastic to customers in a failed attempt to deflect from your own incompetence & ineptitude is not a good look for any of you or your "walk-ins welcome" hospital. I recommend the Hobart Animal Clinic as an alternative. Your pets might even live longer. read more

I have a dog with IVDD who they misdiagnosed initially despite me telling them I thought it was IVDD and had to bring him back twice. I'm frustrated because it does seem like all this place cares about is money. It's expensive AS HELL and not very customer service oriented. read more

I asked about the cost--he told me $55 for the injection and $105 for the screening. That should've raised a red flag--vets typically direct you to the front desk for pricing because they're not involved in billing. Still, I was rushed because I needed to pick up my son. At checkout, I wasn't even given an itemized invoice until after I had already paid. Once in the car, I reviewed it and realized we were grossly overcharged with additional fees I was never informed about. This clinic operates with zero transparency. They don't educate--they upsell. They don't clarify--they deceive. And when you question the charges, they dismiss you and claim there's nothing they can do. I'm beyond disappointed. This isn't just bad service--it's unethical. Terrible! Took my dog there for the 1st time for an evaluation for boarding. Of Course, he was nervous (not aggressive but nervous). Dr. Tells me he will need a sedative because he is nervous. I don't want to take my dog now. He doesn't need any unnecessary medication. The Dr admitted he is an extremely healthy, well-cared for dog. A sedative is not necessary. read more

I don't understand how anyone can use this place as their regular vet. Dr Han has horrible bedside manner. DO NOT take your dog here if you are dealing with disc disease (IVDD) I went there because I was told Dr Han does acupuncture on pets. I took my dachshund who is dealing with degenerative disc disease in her neck to get evaluated just for acupuncture as I have a regular vet and a specialist who have been treating her and acupuncture had been recommended. Dr Han said he did not care what my other vets said about my dog and asked to take an Xray. ( I should of walked away then) He then told me schedule the acupuncture with the front desk. I schedule the appt for 2 weeks later. Dr Han then calls me back later that day and says my dogs needs surgery and to consult with surgeon. I consulted with a neurologist and my regular vet who did not recommend my dog for surgery as she is walking and eating fine despite her neck pain. The Munster Animal hospital then called me 2 weeks later to make sure I really wanted to cancel my acupuncture appt. Since it was still available, I said I will to keep it aftercall and see if it helps. I then take my dog at 8am for drop off on the appt day. They then make me wait almost an hour and I had to call again to have them finally let her in the office. I go home and then get a call from Dr Han 3 hours later asking me why my dog was there. I told him his office called me to schedule and that I consulted with a neurologist and my regular vet who advised against surgery. He then proceeded to tell me he never recommended surgery and that I can come pick up my dog. He will not do the acupuncture to find someone else. I then go pick up my dog and she is covered in feces. I feel horrible that I ever put dog through this and regret ever taking her there. Dr Han has horrible bedside manner, is unprofessional, and knows nothing about IVDD treatment. Once again how anyone keeps them as a regular vet is beyond me. read more

I would never take my dog here if the customer service is any indication of the doctors. I called because my wonderful vet was having a surgery day and my dog was having issues. They recommended I call this hospital as they take walk-ins. I called and the person that answered the phone, rudely, was like no you can't come in today or tomorrow and then proceeded to tell me about two other hospitals. She was rude and then said do you want the phone numbers? I told her I would just find them on my own and she hung up the phone. No thanks for calling, good by or anything. M.A.H. is terrible. We waited over an hour and when Dr.Han finally came in he had not even looked at our dog's chart. I had to tell him that Leroy was a recurring patient with terminal cancer. Then when I tried to ask him questions he said "How about you let me do my job" Then he prescribed antibiotics without me knowing it that cost 89.00. We found out today that he doesn't need them. Barb was rude as hell on the phone talking to staff about my emergency and Kiera had no idea of anything including on how to mute the phone obviously. I wish I was in the position to check out the reviews for this place before I took my 13 year old sheltie, I had a appointment with another vet because it was hard for him to climb stairs but it was a week before his appointment, he woke up eyes rolling, confused and I cld tell he was terrified, I thought he maybe having a seizure , contacted the vet no doctor was and was was referred to this hospital, I do not live in Indiana so it was a long drive, After we arrive my hubby went In and explained what had happened by this time he had came out of it but he was still very wobbly, we see the doc and he says ok we need X-rays and blood work and would not a price , I'm senior and in fix income , everything happen so fast , my dog also was having skin issues and the doc mentioned that , Anyway he came back and said he has arthritis really bad and I'm giving a shot for pain and proceeds to tell us he need injections every week for 5 weeks to get lubricant back in his knees, he never address the seizure or what ever it was , then we were slap with a 700.00 bill omg! We had to max a credit card and dig some cash out our account, this is not the end, the next week same thing happen on weekend and we took him to another hospital because they were closed, they said he had ear infection ( what !! All that money and they didn't look in his ears and said it may been some called vestibular syndrome they give him some pill for dizziness and ear drop that was another 500.00and was sending results to Munster Animal hospital. We browned money for the injection every week, After that I ask for follow up visit to see what was next , by this time his skin problems got worst he was biting and pulling his hair out so I figure while we there the doc had already seen it was a issue he would address it , well We must have sUCKER written on our head , upon seeing him the doc said he had alergies and needed a shot and med he never addressed his next steps after the injections for his knees, they handed me a bill for almost 500. Which I had to borrow from the person who drove me there, Now the Kicker! I told them I couldn't afford driving all the way out there and buying his medication from them so I found a vet place cheaper , when the pharmacy called they refused to give a refills for his pain pill and even the power for his severe itch, saying I have to bring him back in , he had just seen them short of 2 weeks, I don't know who to call but They are a scam and don't give a darn about the animal after over 2000 you mean you can't give my dog the relief he need for the sever itch or pain , Please don't take your pet there try to do research before your pet get sick , don't end up like us :( And they did not diagnose him for why I took him in the first place , When I brought that to their attention, I was told there was no mention of seizure in his record , This women actually said @ You brought him in cuz he could not walk , It Look like they are falsifying medical records too , They never address the information that was sent to them by the other Animal Hospital and yes I ask them , crickets read more

Dr Han treated my Dog Peppy. He did not talk to me go over the payments or talk about prognosis . He made such statements as can I go now ? No you can't do that. Maybe in a few days. He did not answer any questions. At 2pm he called and add me to transfer my pet to Chicago despite torrential rain and tornado warnings. I refused. When I go to the North Central Emergency Center, I was apprised of the true state of my pets prognosis. I immediately put her down. He is condensing, non-empathetic, and would not allow him to care for my pet both canine and feline. The nurses and Dr Foster are competent. read more

I recently fired MAH after almost 7 years. First, their costs are high! They will add extra shots when your pet does not NEED them. Secondly, the customer service is piss poor. I just waited 45 mins after being placed on hold prior to gaining entry, cause that's what they make you do. I gave up waiting. While driving home, i kept the phone connected thinking they woud answer, after 48 mins they DID NOT. I called back and they could not have cared less. These people don't want the animals or people in there lobby because they annoy them. Barb is the worst! They will enforce covid precautions FoREVER. Great grooming staff. But the desk girls are unhappy and disgruntled and it shows. If you are a current customer you know this. If you are thinking of becoming one, you have been warned. Disappointing. DON'T GO TO MUNSTER ANIMAL HOSPITAL After years of unsatisfactory treatment at this place, here I am. I'm at my absolute wits end with Munster Animal Hospital. They've been a disappointment time and time again. Any pet owner can understand the hassle of having to move vets so we've stuck around, but no more. I have three healthy pets, two dogs and a cat, who have all gone here for the past few years. We primarily stuck around because my dogs get groomed there by Jaime and she's amazing. I hope in the future she works in a better place and we can visit her again. Every time we take our pets in for grooming- it's a money grab. All of a sudden they need this shot, or this test, or SOMETHING. Again, they're all very healthy and always get their annuals. It seems every time we go in there's something new we've never heard of that is now "mandatory" to get for grooming. We've put up with it and paid the hundreds of dollars in extra bills for basically nothing as we NEVER get a call back about testing results or an explanation for why things are needed. My oldest dog has stomach issues that are easily managed with his prescription diet. Not only is Munster Animal Hospital always out of this food, but you have to fight tooth and nail to get them to give you a written script or authorization to get it elsewhere. Not to mention they won't even do it if you aren't up to date on everything they say you need to be. On one occasion, I went in begging for a script because after multiple calls and authorization attempts for days, my dog was out of food. They didn't care. The girl went on a power trip and shut me down. She told me I'd have to wait until Monday (it was Friday). No compassion, no attempt to tell where else I may be able to get the food, nothing. That brings me to my next point- The staff. Aside from a few of the seasoned employees at Munster Animal Hospital, the rest are just straight up RUDE no matter how polite or considerate you are with them. They refuse to answer questions or do anything in their job that requires actually HELPING someone. They sit, type, answer phones, and god forbid you're on the other line or try to converse with them in office. You will get straight up ice. These women should not be working in any form of customer service or office position. They don't care about the pet owners, but even worse they don't care about the pets. On one occasion, my dog who is on a special diet got ahold of something he shouldn't have that really upset his stomach. He was vomiting and had extremely bloody diarrhea. I took him into the vet, told them what was going on, and they had zero urgency regarding his condition. After an hour of him anxiously shaking and pacing in the waiting room, we finally got a room where he immediately started vomiting and have diarrhea again. I yelled out the door for someone to help from the front desk area as there was now blood and bodily fluids all over the ground. They sent someone to clean it up and then nothing. We waited another hour before anyone actually came in to check him out. They did the bare minimum and sent us home with some medicine. No care, no concern or urgency about his condition at all. Didn't ask me about his history or what happened- absolutely nothing. I should've stopped going to the vet then. All that being said, the proof is in the pudding. When you read bad reviews- BELIEVE THEM. Especially if there are as many on a business as Munster Animal Hospital has. I really can't believe they get away with treating people and animals like they do. My grandma took her 16-year-old dog here for grooming. She had been going here for years. Suzie (the dog) ended up having a stroke while being groomed and they didn't call my grandma. When suzie was picked up, she was totally limp and clearly something was wrong. She ended up having to be put to sleep, but the concerning thing is - did they continue to groom her after she had a stroke? Then they left her in a crate for hours before my family picked her up. Didn't have an animal there and glad I didn't. I was at a restaurant next door. I watched for 1/2 hour or more a dog in a 3 x 4 area barking the entire time. Apparently they just put them outside and forget about them. I went and told one of the girls outside walking a dog that dog needed to be let it. She said it must be boarding. I brought my dog here for a second opinion and help with a tumor. They tricked me into believing that my other vet was wrong. Got me to spend $539 on preparation for surgery. Then on surgery day they said they can't do the surgery. I was told by my last vet already she couldn't have survey. I wasted $539 because they lied to me and said she could then 2 days later changed there mind. They even made me give a dying dog a heart worm vaccine because it was needed for surgery. Reason for a 3 stars- The grooming is amazing! My dog loved going to them to get groomed, they loved her. Never had a problem with them... Here is the 3 stars.... The VET he is very rude and just nasty. My dog is a cocker, and she needed special attention to her ears. He hurt her and shoved the scope into her ear and just was very hard on her. Every time she has gotten sick, was always pills. She got sick a few times and I never gave her any more pills they recommend. I think they try killing their pets! Ever since then I have been taking her to a new vet out in IL who took good care of her. The staff up front is very nice, caring and know what they are doing. The vets are just terrible! I have been coming to this clinic/ hospital for about 10+ years. I have had my fur baby vaccinated and had surgical procedures done here. The prices have always been higher compared to other places, but I still brought my fur baby there. Well on August 13, 2020 I called to bring my baby in because she had diarrhea with blood in it. I was told on the first call that I would need to just come in because they weren't taking appointments. They also told me to stay in my car & phone them when I arrived. I called a second time when I was a few minutes away and I was told again to call when I arrived as they were not taking appointments. I called again when I arrived and they answered & placed me on hold for about 10 minutes. When they finally came back to the phone they told me they were not taking any more to see the doctor. I asked how is this possible when I have called multiple times and was told to come in. I was then told the doctors don't see anyone after 4. Now I had called multiple times already and was never told this. They then told me to take my baby to another hospital. I at this time was upset & fustrated and hung up. As I was driving away I though this was not acceptable and turned around and went back & requested to see a manager. The manager came out and took my information & said she would see what she could do. After a few minutes she came back & said they couldn't see her & that I was already told to take her to another hospital. I again tried to explain to her & tell her about how I had called multiple times & was told to come in. Ultimately I was again told to go to another hospital as they couldn't see my baby as it was to late and that her symptoms would require to much testing. I am furious and find this appalling for a hospital to say. I have now seen the light! They are all about quick, easy, fast money. They are not truly in it for the love of animals! I will now take there advice & go to another clinic/hospital because they lack the right support and care me & my baby need. I would suggest anyone reading this to do the same!!!!!! read more

The workers are rude and don't answer the phone and make excuses to why they aren't answering the phone. They lie about estimated wait times. They delay the process of your animal being cared for and have the nerve to charge outrageous prices. They also take your credit card without you being present to sign paperwork. They didn't ask if I had any questions regarding my dogs care. Even if you have a mask on, they won't let you escort your dog to be seen; obviously your dog is frightened and know these individuals. dr han is unprofessional, irresponsible, and uncaring about any animal he touches . he is responsible for not only misdiagnosing my 8 year old female pitbull (diagnosed her with a skin infection and not the apparent malignant mammory tumor that was clearly rapidly growing) and so many other peoples pets, but the cause of death . I wanted to be with her not have her in a cage in back... no one communicated why she was back there so long. Finally caught Han in hallway and said we had been waiting a long time to put our dog down and all he said was he was still trying to find a vein. I asked for a tech to check on her and he said Han took another surgery and was just going to let my dog wait. Pitiful. He was rude, non apologetic and tried to rush the process once we did have our dog in the room. Another one of our pets got so mishandled there she had temporary paralysis. Never going back. My four legged babies love this place! Front desk: The day crew is phenomenal! Barb, Kaitlyn, Patty & Sandy, they're so compassionate, helpful, warm & welcoming. My little guy suffers from allergies & has seen almost every veterinarian in there. No complaints, everyone is so compassionate & loving. My baby girl is very scared of men, she has seen Dr. Han, he has a very soft voice & she does great. Melissa the vet tech rocks!!!!! My dogs never yelp during shots & last, but not least, Jamie in grooming is AWESOME! My babies see her coming around the corner, tales wag, they smile & are so excited. She's so loving! Their hours are wrong, I tried to come in yesterday on February 6th, 2023. It was a Monday and it says they weren't closed until 8. I had a newborn kitten that was dying so we were freaking out. When you're in a rush with a dying animal trying to get somewhere for help asap and you see a place says it's open when it isn't. You get reasonably angry. They charged us $70 simply because my dog had not been there in a year - when we told them that was absurd, the employees at the front desk YELLED at me and told me to leave. I have no complaints about the front desk, they were great. I took my 9 year old female pit to Munster Animal hospital because I noticed a sting of jellylike substance coming from her buttocos (I believed it was coming from that area). I Googled jelly like substance coming from my pit bull and was offered information on online vet help. I was told to take her to see a vet asap. i googled and found Munster Animal hospital and informed them that my pit had a jelly like substance coming from her buttocks and they told me that I could bring her in. The staff in waiting room were pleasant. We were called to the room and the young lady entered the room and she took my dog to check her vital signs. That was fine. Dr. Han entered and asked questions, asked how much was my dogs normal weight and stared my dog was underweight, which was possible since lately her appetite has been somewhat finicky. Dr. Han kept saying get your dog and of course, my dog was sniffing and curious. Dr. Han was extremely negative and said he needs to take some test because he feared my dog may have some serious problem. mind you, I explained to Dr. Han that my dog had a jelly like discharge coming from his buttocks also that the day before, my dog threw up but had not that day. I went to the front desk and was charged $680 (approximately). I paid the amount for the test that my dog needed. I returned and Dr Han's attitude was different; he was slightly pleasant and actually optimistic. Dr. Han had good news now, my dog doesn't have Pargo or whatever that disease is called. Great news! He prescribed pain medicine because he said that my dog had arthritis in left hind leg, possibly but advised not to give him that medicine until we administered the 2 additional medications that he prescribed. Also, prescribed dog food was included in this charge, fortunately they sell it at the animal hospital. We left. Religiously stuck with the diet and medication plan , no snacks or anything additional as instructed by Dr. Han. Omg! 3 days later, my dog still has the jelly like substance so I call Munster Animal hospital again and they said bring her in. I did that and Dr. Han stated that he needs 1 more test so we'd have to pay to have test taken. Fine, we did and he returned saying that my dog didn't have what he feared. That test was approximately $280. Please make note that Dr Han did ask a few times if my dog had been in heat. After this 2nd visit and $800+ later, Dr. Han says the jelly like substance that I've mentioned is coming from my dogs vaginal area. Well, he thought he'd have to do an emergency spade of my dog (so sorry, I'm sure that's not the spelling of the term) but Dr. Han said that he didn't have to do because my dog is ok In that area. i have time to do that in the future, if I'd like, according to Dr. Han. The vaginal area jelly like discharge should've been told to me during the 1st visit. Dr. Han knew right away that this was a normal process for female dogs. The discharge, jelly like is a normal cleansing for female dogs but I could've googled it had I known it was coming from the vaginal area and not from my stupidity thinking that it was coming from his buttock. Dr. Han knew that immediately. I Googled it and there's tons of info. Dr. Han just took advantage and that was very unethical. Our pets are like our family and unfortunately people will exploit because of this. Read his reviews, the negative ones appear to be accurate. These people just don't care. My dog had an issue so we took him in. (You can't make appointments here, so have fun sitting in your car for hours with your pets waiting.) The doctor said to call back in 10 days -2 weeks to follow up. We called and the receptionist didn't bot asking us anything, just said come in. We let her know the doctor said to call; I got put on hold and later she came back and said that the doctor would call us by the end of the day(Thursday). We never received a call, and the following day I called back first thing because I was Concerned about my dog's condition. They assured me the doctor would call me that day (Friday). I called mid afternoon when we didn't hear, and they assured me the doctor would call. Most times I talked to Anna. I called again at 6:04 after not hearing from anyone and got a message saying the place was closed...and to NOT leave a voicemail because no one checks them....professional. Anyway, I call back today (Saturday) at 3P...these people now tell me that I should just come in to talk to the doctor BUT WAIT the doctor isn't in today. And they are backed up because they don't take appointments and they close in an hour...so I asked the receptionist what she suggests I do, and she said bring my suffering dog in on Monday. THAT is how Munster Animal treats the furry members of your family. I will never put my pets in the hands of these neglectful "professionals" again. read more

They let my dog die on me while she was pregnant and I asked why is she not eating and the lady said that this always happened to dogs when they are in labor but she told me to take her home and that is normal so I take her home and give her ice and water and was checking on her then 45 minutes to a hour go by I walk to check on her and she's dead wit blood coming from her mouth I had my dog since birth thanks for not saving my dog class action law suit is goin in cuz she didn't even check her out when I said I think she's dying read more

This was from experiences 15 years ago but by reading current reviews I see things haven't changed. Almost killed my "aggressive" dog by over sedating him with an injection in order to calm him for his vaccination injection.? They tied a stitch around my cats paw after a declaw surgery and the misplaced suture caused an infection in my cat that almost killed him. I took a friends dog there for heartworm treatment. He needed a second treatment for that but was given double vaccine tags and paperwork so was he double vaccinated too, was double charged for vaccines. I was done.... I called the morning of, our puppy Apollo was not doing well. They told me I could come right over and when they were ready for me they would get me in. The staff was beyond amazing, they told me to take as much time as I needed with him. They asked if I needed anything else, please let them know. They also told me many, many times how sorry they were that he passed away. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my Polly boy. I know that he is in good hands. I have been taking our dogs here for years. I will NEVER set foot in their building again. Our 11 month golden retriever became VERY sick and lethargic suddenly. Dr. Han evaluated her and ran tests/xrays. He found that she ingested a sewing needle/thread, and it was lodged in her small intestine. He presented the seriousness of her condition and informed my daughter and I that she needed immediate exploratory surgery. Her white cell count indicated serious infection. Dr. Han told us that he would call within two hours to let us know how she was and also indicated that he would have to decide before 9:00 if she needed to be transported to Calumet Veterinary for overnight care and observance. Two hours came and went, and so I called there. I was informed that they didn't start her surgery due to another emergency he took ahead of our dog but that they were ready to begin. At 8:45 pm (15 min. before EVERYONE leaves), I called again because no one called me. At first the person who answered told me that no one was there...then Dr. Han got on the phone and informed me that he ran out of time to do her surgery! He gave me two options - wait until the morning or take her to Calumet. Thank GOD we took her to Calumet Veterinary. Dr. Lawrence there is FANTASTIC. She informed me at 3:00 a.m. after our dog's surgery that it was a very wise decision to not wait (as Dr. Han indicated to me). I have to say that Dr. Han is the most insincere, rude, unreliable vet I could ever imagine. He had no problem getting someone in the exam room within 2 minutes of meeting with us to take our 50% deposit for a surgery he never performed. Yet, he couldn't take 30 seconds to find one of his 15+ employees to call us that evening to tell us that he wasn't doing surgery. And, his best response to my anger over how he handled this when we picked up our gravely ill dog? "I don't understand why you are so mad"!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE. Beware of this veterinary clinic! My experience makes me concur with several other reviews here about Dr. Han and the way he operates. read more

I'm sorry, you won't accept my other vet's paperwork? You're going to run all of these redundant and unnecessary tests on my dog? You're revaccinating my dog?! It's almost laughable how transparent their efforts to upsell are, assigning "necessary" procedures and tests. And at the end of it, you're not even sure if they actually critically looked at your animal because you've spent the entire time waiting in the lobby, then the office, between tests. You can find less expensive and more thorough vets in the area, including Chicago. I'm from New York but have been here for work the last few months, and even in NYC, the most expensive city in this country, I currently have a cheaper, better vet. If you're going to charge such a high premium, provide a premium service, not this amateur act. read more

I just left from my 3rd visit from this animal hospital. The first two times my cats saw Dr Withey and this third time they saw Han. Also for grooming April is amazing and great with my cats. 5 stars for her and she leaves my cats looking so cute with their lion cuts and bow. Only have your pet see Dr. Withey! She knows what she is doing and is very friendly. With her I felt my cats were in safe hands to get treated and I felt like she genuinely cared about my cats. 5 stars for dr Withey Dr. Han is horrible and rude exactly like the reviews say. Seriously all the bad reviews about him reflect what I experienced right now with my visit. He doesn't even sound like he knows what he is doing. I just left and will never let my cats see Han again. I even expressed my dissatisfaction to the reception about him. ZERO STARS FOR HAN! you need to get your license taken away after what I read on yelp and experienced. read more

My dog was neutered and ended up getting an infection. They demanded to keep him for six days and a ton of fees would then ensue, totaling approximately 1100.00 dollars and could be more. This was all after then incorrectly diagnosed him with a bowel obstruction; the real problem was an descended testicle. I immediately called Griffith animal hospital and they saw him without an appointment. The vet was very helpful, gave me antibiotics and instructed me to give him a warm bath in epsom salt three times a day. The next day the dog was almost dancing upright. I saved tons of time and money. The most important part my dog was at home not some money hungry clinic where he would sit in a cage for numerous hours a day. You just need to go there once to find out how conniving the clinic is. I would not purchase a bag of dog food from Munster Animal Hospital. read more

I have bee going to MAH for 18 years and have always had excellent care. Dr. Han saved my chihuahua, after the emergency vet in Schererville miss diagnosed him three times. I thought I was going to have to put him down and with one examination he was correctly diagnosed and treatment was started. After six months of treatment he is back to his normal self. I have been taking my numerous animals here for years. This last month I have spent almost $1000 with them. Without going into the whole frustrating story they do not have standardized procedures in these days of Covid. They did not even try to help my situation. They said come back in a week after showing up there last week (they sent me home because they did not have enough vets). I said my cat was sick with an abscess and has been waiting a week to see them. He may not be around if I wait a week - the receptionist did not care. I am so done with this overpriced and rude vet. Beware of the places that have a nice building as there service is horrible. read more
