Nothing but good things to say. computer was running like garbage, called him, he took me immediately that day, called within an hour with a solution, fixed within 2 days (just waiting on the part took the extra day). SUPER transparent, didn't feel like he was trying to take advantage of the situation. when I picked up my computer he mentioned a couple things I could do to increase performance, but followed up by saying "don't worry about it unless your unhappy with the performance in the future". They got it up and running within 10mins and diagnosed it as just a bios update issue. They didn't charge me cause it was such a simple issue. If I could give this place 10+ stars I would. Robert (Bob) is the best in the game when I tell you he really knows computers, laptops you name it he really does. I took my moms computer there it was completely fried he told me he was able to save ALL of her pictures, and files. My mom is a Simmer she plays Sims 2 all the time he upgraded her to where the new computer is faster than the one that was fried. So after he did such wonderful work with my moms computer I took him my laptop. Well it was really messed up I knew it but I was just hoping lol so I was thinking welp I lost my pictures but NOPE he was able to get my pictures I just needed an external hard drive with usb 2 TB. I had a lotta pictures so needless to say I was happy he was able to save all my pictures. Last but not least his prices are so reasonable he REALLY is the BEST in town. My computer was completely disabled from my two year old pressing on my laptop. Couldn't get the computer to work for a week because it said I had to leave the computer on for 2 hours for it to take that off but he knew exactly what to do. If I could rate more than 5 stars, I would. Robert provided above and beyond service. I made a fast laptop purchase that turned out to be a dud. I reached out to 702 Computer Repair in hopes of upgrading it. Through phone, you will be provided with as much info as possible in regards to service options and prices. But it's best to drop off your computer to get a confirmed diagnosis and estimate price. I dropped off the dud laptop to see what upgrades could be made and in less than 30 minutes I got a call back to confirm it was not upgradable. I went during the pandemic but Robert made sure I felt safe by wiping down anything I needed to touch. I returned the laptop. Robert extended his service by helping me find a laptop that works within my budget and preferences, all done through email. It didn't even take a full day to find a great one for a good price with both of us searching back-and-forth. He even offered to upgrade it for a generous exchange. I needed computer repair and my regular place shut down. 702 was the most convenient so I gave it a shot. Robert is awesome. He had to run his tests more than once because the computer was in such bad shape. He ended up having to reinstall windows. He got it working. When I got home , I had problems getting my printer working. I tried for a couple days. I finally called him back. He spent nearly 2 hours getting the printer going. Didn't charge anything extra. I spilled some juice on my laptop and decided to look on yelp for a reliable repair shop based on reviews. I chose this place and gave them a call. You know how you can meet some people and get a feeling that you can immediately trust them. I knew going in that it was a 50/50 chance that my computer could be saved. Robert was honest up front and gave me more than a reasonable price to check it and and try to repair it. In the end I had to buy a new laptop because the old one could not be saved but they were able transfer my files from the old computer to the new one. Bob really helped me out. While trying to upgrade my computer myself (new gpu), I accidentally deleted my drivers for my whole system. When I called 702 Computer Repair, Bob gave me some things to try and see if I could fix it. But when I admitted defeat I was able to get my computer dropped off and picked back up within a few days with everything working. My computer wasn't powering off the other day so I took it in to see if it could be repaired. I was immediately helped by Bob when I entered. He quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the failed part. It was way less than I thought it would be and he had it done in about a half hour! Bob was great in helping me with my computer issue. I had dropped my laptop and every time I opened it, the hinge would put pressure on the base and crack it open. Bob initially tried to fix it with industrial glue, but it didn't take. Charge was $75, but since he didn't fix it he said there was no charge. He then recommended we order the base and keyboard top in order to replace the part that was broken inside. After an extensive search, he nor I could find the parts. The next option would be to buy the same laptop (but a used one) and transfer the hard drive. Bob indicated that the best bet would be to buy a better and more well built laptop rather than the same one. He indicated that there was no guarantee that if I got the same laptop that it wouldn't last since it wasn't that strongly built. I took his advice and recommendation and got a new laptop for $850 that was built more strongly and had stronger hinges. I know not everyone has this option, but I felt Bob was fair in his ability to work with the damage my computer had. Not being able to find the parts he needed hampered that effort. Bob generously transferred all the hard drive info to my new laptop at no charge. He even was very patient with my questions and helped me set up a few things on it.
