Couldn't be happier. First went to Best Buy and walked up to the empty counter where I was told by the non-busy person there that I had to have an appointment to drop off my computer for repair. I couldn't just walk in and do that. So, I found TLC. They answered my questions over the phone, very politely. I went there ant the tech helped me by looking at my laptops, fixing one on the spot and taking the other one in. By that same evening, they had diagnosed and fixed the problem. Perfect! I had been having a lot of difficulties with my internet staying online while I was working on my computer and my TV not streaming through a whole program while I was watching TV. I reached out to Tech 2U for support and after trying to fix my issue through the remote access (I recommend all to have this) Tech 2U sent Tyler out this morning. He was completely professional, fast, explained everything to me, got my computer up and running properly, and told me what I needed to do to fix my TV problem. The cost for all of this was far less than I ever dreamed of having to pay. Tyler was just fantastic!! Not only professional, but used layman terms when talking to me about what he was doing and what I needed to know. Let me save you a lot of money. I spent $529 yesterday to be spoken to rudely and work with an "expert" who knew less about Macs than I did. I am disabled and needed at-home service. My entire experience from the first time I called was a joke. I spoke with them three times. I told them I needed them to bring me an external backup drive FOR A MAC. Of course I would pay for it. I also explained that I had gotten a new MacBook Pro that I needed help setting up and that I wanted them to show me how to download all of my documents from iCloud and save them to the external disk. First, a little punk called me yesterday morning to get directions. But he wouldn't just write the directions down. Oh, NO! that wouldn't use enough tech. No, no, no he had to call up a satellite picture, which only took about 5 minutes instead of the 30 seconds it would have taken to write the three sentences of directions down. I then attempted to tell him that I wouldn't need everything I had thought I would. I DID THIS TO HELP THEM WITH THEIR SCHEDULING. Punky Crewster interrupted and said he didn't need the information, aka he had what he wanted and just wanted to get me off the phone ASAP. Oh, I see. Fiddling with satellites instead of pencil and paper was fine, but my talking was a "waste of his precious time." Which one of us was getting paid for the conversation? Not me. Then the "pro" showed up. He had brought a Samsung disk. OK, I thought. BUT HE COULDN'T GET IT TO WORK. The installation just looped. But since he had opened the box, I had to pay over $200 for something to throw in the garbage. Then he had ZERO idea of how to do anything on a Mac. But I had to pay him over $300 for DOING EXACTLY NOTHING. You don't need these people. Even if you know nothing you know as much as they do. You could get as much help from a cat, and at least the purring would be soothing. read more

My overall experience was great. I got connected to a lot techs going through the right options for me and everyone was super nice helpful. I decided just to take it in to physical location with the help of Matthew. He was outstanding and patient with previous customer and me. They provided me with a free diagnosis and told me what they found, which was super helpful. I didn't get any other service besides the free diagnosis because I was able to remedy the problem myself. I am very impressed with my new computer AND the follow-up from the professionals at TLC. I had a Windows 7 computer and was limping it along until I had to do my taxes. My Windows 7 laptop allowed me to load the software but it got hung up. (I also was super annoyed that the tax software wasn't clear about it needing to be loaded on a Windows 10.) I took it as a sign that I finally had to get a Windows 10 machine. So happy that I knew about TLC! TLC loaded the software that I needed, gave me a few instructions on how to transfer over pictures, documents and music and I was good to go. The computer I got was a reconditioned one with a brand new hard drive. It has the disk drive I needed and a number keyboard and it's SO fast! Thank you for everything, TLC! read more

These guys were incredibly patient, professional, tireless, brilliant, and positive. I had a complex program to put on a new computer, one of their refurbished computers, or my old computer. They / we worked through all my options over the long period of time it took to also work with the computer programming company. We finally came to a resolution that was extremely cost-effective, and that I could feel good about. I had initially gone to Best Buy's geek squad prior to coming to TLC/Tech2U. The geek squad guys were good and offered a good service, but they were rushed, hard to schedule, and couldn't or wouldn't spend the brain power needed to resolve my computer program issues. I decided to drop off my laptop here because my mouse is freezing when you go to move it across the screen. I watched a tune of YouTube videos and nothing worked. Julio tried his best to fix my computer but no luck, apparently the laptop came with Windows 8 which we upgraded to Windows 10 but after too many updates the motherboard could not support this system anymore. He tried to work out a deal for a trade but we will end up getting a new computer in the future. I still had to pay $60 for the service which I'm okay with after all they did. read more

I must say this place is phenomenal, the staff is leagues above the rest, whether it be either of the Chris', Anthony, all of them! I had to bring in my gaming computer to my dismay and have it troubleshot. I paid the express fee and they had info back to me immediately and had a new motherboard brought in. Upon receiving there turned out to be quite a few more things wrong and knowing the heightened costs they waived the labor if I bought their recommended parts! I did so and my computer hasn't purred like this in forever! I took my laptop in a couple weeks ago when it would not not show art - nothing but making suspiciously bad noises. They took it to check it out. As I understand it, that involved removing it from the case a testing everything. When it was found to be a non-functioning motherboard , they used a last ditch repair. When that did not work, I was informed there was nothing more to do since the motherboard would cost more than a new computer. Sadly the end of that Dell. Not only that but he reassured me that my issue was a common assurance and that they could take a look at it.
