Recently I was honored to serve as speaker for commencement exercises for the 2020, 721 Yoga Teacher Training Class. My subject was, "It's Our (their) Turn". The celebration culminated a six-month, intense, comprehensive curriculum covering all critical aspects. The graduates are now prepared to successfully and professionally conduct their own classes. Moreover, the experience enabled the now new teachers to also enhance their own personal practices. From my unique perspective I observed the enthusiasm and excitement of all of the students who are now prepared to positively effect the human condition-making lives better. The look on their faces and expressions exuded eagerness to make things happen-liberating their own future students. I have tried several times over the last several years to begin a regular meditation practice, but never stuck with it for more than a day or two at a time. I've been working weekly with Amber and now I'm proud to say that I practice meditation daily. Amber is a kind and gentle teacher and has impacted my life in such a positive way. I started taking Amber's classes a little while back. I love her teaching, don't get me wrong you will sweat and work out! Haha but in the end you will feel so amazing. Her energy and light has changed my view of yoga. I've learned to really enjoy every moment even the hard parts. She is very inspiring and loving. I look forward to my sessions with her every time. She has added Thai Massage and that was a game changer. I've gotten Thai massages in Thailand! This was the best one so far. Just what I needed. I am a beginner so did not know what to expect. The studio is great. It is warm, inviting, calm and healing. Amber is amazing. Her soothing voice of instruction is articulate and motivating. I was experiencing some lower back pain when I started and it was gone after one session. On my third session I went in with a pulled muscle in my leg and the deep stretching felt great. My leg was better the next morning. The aroma therapy is an awesome touch. Amber is an exceptional yoga instructor! She led a fun and challenging practice that included a warming vinyasa that was greatly appreciated since it was a cold morning. She kept my yoga newbie hubby engaged and my yoga newbie mama encouraged. Amber was easy to understand and her tone was super calming.
