Lori is the epitome of a great instructor. She's patient, she adjusts music to the class needs, gently and whispers redirections if needed, is always pleasant and is a pleasure to be around. She varies the exercises and gives ideas to increase or decrease the client's exertion or stretching, etc., and always reminds the class to exercise at the level the client needs. I can't think of a negative thing about this club, or especially about Lori. I'm so glad I go to this Club Pilates and that Lori's classes fit with my schedule. read more

Absolutely LOVE all the instructors and classes. I have never liked working out UNTIL I started Pilates. The instructors do an amazing job of teaching newbies the correct form. Only negative: it can be hard to get into classes if you work during the day. I'm lucky enough to have flexibility with work to go during the day, but those who do not, may struggle to get in morning/evening classes before they fill up. read more

I just cancelled my membership because it is incredibly difficult to book classes. I can barely get in my 4 classes a month and I have a fairly flexible schedule. Popular classes/times are almost impossible to get into unless you book a month in advance. I've seen waitlists sometimes 10+ people deep. I don't even know how the classes always seem to be booked so far out. I've been to other club pilates-style studios in Austin, Houston, and NY and have never had this problem before. I saw some other reviews about this before I signed up for my membership, and I asked the girl who signed me up about it, but she said it wasn't a problem. Don't buy that - it is. If your schedule varies at all, it isn't worth it. They will also tell you "just use the waitlist" which is not a solution for anyone who needs to plan their day ahead of time. Also, some of the instructors are wayyy better than others. I had a few classes where a level 1.5 was a really good workout, and some where I barely felt like I was on a reformer. read more

I really like this studio and the classes, but it is hard if you have a busy schedule to book days/times you need unless booking a week or 2 in advance. I get that it's a small studio, but I do wish that would have been disclosed before I signed up and was locked in to a 3 month contract. You also can't transfer credits, so if none of the available times they have work within your schedule, you will possibly lose credits during the month. read more

First of all I signed up on August 1st and I couldn't book a class until mid-August because they were all full. I chose the unlimited plan and they told me that I could book classes up to three months in advance... well, it turns out that they have a limit. When I get to my first class, literally 5 minutes late the instructor told me that I couldn't join the class because their policy is that they don't accept people who are 5 minutes or more late, which they didn't explain to me when I suscribed. Seriously thinking about cancelling my subscription. read more

This studio is very busy so finding times that work for those of us that work is difficult. I found the classes EXTREMELY easy and at times I have taken 3/4 back to back. I would recommend the classes and the instructors to a beginner or someone that wants a good stretch but I have never found a challenging class at this studio. For the price, there are better, more challenging options. Cancelled my membership as soon as I could (3 months later) and will sadly not return. read more

I wrote to the club with questions BEFORE scheduling a first session. These were valid questions regarding my health issues (capabilities), and session costs. There is nothing on the website about fees. Your options are 4 pack, 8 pack, unlimited etc - but without actual monetary costs. Anyway, 4 weeks later, I'm still waiting for ANY response at all. Hi! I registered and was really excited about trying this..yes instructors great and everything, but I was VERY misinformed about their fees. When I was enrolled I was told it was 200 something for the year! I kid you not! Sure I signed up, not knowing that I was signing up for 230$/month!!! okay, I would NEVER pay that amount for pilates classes, unlimited or not! When I called to tell them I was misinformed, the person who answered the phone, said the assistant had been giving mis information and they did not work there anymore. When I went in to cancel my contract, they made me feel like I was the one not telling the truth and that I made up the store about the assistant giving misinformation. I had nothing to benefit from not telling the truth.Anyhow, now I get robo calls from the company to keep paying my monthly fees, even though I cancelled the contract??? Sorry do not like giving bad reviews, but I felt this one needed to be told! Good luck! read more

I had an intro class today and my first experience at Club Pilates in Rockwall. I have tried one other studio that I do enjoy, but thought I would take a class at this location because it's closer to home. Class was scheduled at noon. I was asked to arrive 10 minutes early to sign a waiver and purchase socks. Normally, I would have arrived early anyway because it's a new place I'm visiting, etc. Unfortunately, there was a traffic accident that delayed me and I walked in at 11:59am so I understand I was late on my part. There were two front desk girls - a blonde who was nice enough and a dark-headed girl. I signed the waiver and went to choose some socks but couldn't see the sizing. So after a few seconds the dark-headed girl asked me "do you know your shoe size?" with a tone so bothered that immediately I was turned off by her attitude because of course I know my shoe size. I grabbed a pair, put them on and joined the class. The instructor, couldn't tell you her name, seemed annoyed that I walked in while she was talking (again, I get it!), but....I'm new...welcome me, be friendly...don't show your irritation all over your face. I honestly would've walked right out, but I drove 30 minutes to get there. I stayed. I liked the cleanliness of the studio and the equipment set-up, but I knew in the first two minutes I would NOT be joining. I took a class at a completely different studio this morning before Club Pilates and the customer service, friendliness of the staff, and how I was welcomed were night and day difference. I'll join elsewhere. read more

I don't usually leave bad reviews but I Left this location pretty upset this morning. I drove 30 minuets to get to this location. It would have been my 4th class today so I'm pretty new and have never been to a class in the morning. There was quite a bit of traffic and I pulled into there parking lot at 8:05, I literally rushed in started putting on my socks and gloves and then as I walked to the reformer, the instructor gave me a weird smug look and said I can't let you into this class since it's 7 minutes past and I said oh well my gps said 8:05 I'm sorry and she said yeah I can't let you do this class. It felt very mean girl, and mind you there was like 3 other people in this class. It wasn't full.... I was so embarrassed and upset I had to drive an hour this morning for nothing. I get places have policies but I was never made aware of the policy, and I didn't even get a warning. If that instructor wanted to she could have let me continue and tell me after class hey next time you can't be late or I wouldn't let you in. They have been messaging me every week to ask if I want to sign up for a membership and I had been contemplating because of how far it is, but after the way they made me feel today, it's a big NO for me. read more

My daughter was injured at this club and the manager, Leslie Stonestreet, refuses to return my calls or my emails. She refused to give me the owner's name or the name of their insurance company. She also refused to allow my daughter to cancel her membership! Just have to say what a great studio, great instructors , great classes and instruction very helpful... to anyone thinking about this type of work out , it is very beneficial don't hesitate, invest in your body . For me I needed that core work out. It may be a little pricey but you either pay now or later. I choose to pay now! I'll have to add some photos later . If you have questions give them a call and when I say pricey it means we don't want to spend that money on ourselves sometimes , but if you break it down to personal trainers it is more than worth it .. hope to see you their! read more
