Came here with the family on a Friday night to enjoy the happy hour specials. Arrived around 530p and there were quite a few tables available. Seems it gets busy after 6p. We ordered 3 Margherita pizzas, Greek Fries, nachos, and 2 cheese cakes. My son had the spaghetti with meatballs off the regular menu. Food came by fast. Impressed with the pizzas; the family really enjoyed them. Only negative was crust a bit too thick. Greek Fries were surprisingly good. Nachos were excellent. Lots of cheese, tomatoes, olives, and jalapenos. Cheese cakes were good too. My son said the spaghetti was a bit spicy - so something to note if you have young kids. For drinks, my wife and I had the Haus Lager and Holy Grale, my son had 2 chocolate milks which were more expensive then the beers. Note to self to bring milk from home next time. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. Lots of food. It had been awhile since we had been back to 722 and I'd didn't disappoint. Happy Hour is definitely the way to go to feed our hungry family. I met a friend for dinner and we changed our plans after driving by this place. It was a beautiful day and the patio looked enticing. Laughing, we picked out our table before entering and it was a lovely surprise that it was available as we'd noticed it was busy. It was an open wall so that we could be out of the direct sun and glare, but enjoy the fresh air at the same time. Honestly, I was a bit worried because I'm not a fan of deep fried pub food and was pleasantly surprised at the variety and that the food was so tasty. I ordered the Bangkok Green Curry bowl and my friend ordered the Mexicali Tacos with shrimp. Portion size was good and I enjoyed the little bit of spice in the curry sauce. Service was a bit slow, but we just enjoyed the atmosphere and the conversation. I would recommend. read more

Well four of us decided to meet for drinks and Appetizers. All I can say is I understand costs have gone up and we are all trying to find ways to manage that in business and at home. But how things have changed over the years. We ordered steak bites which used to be amazing and plentiful. But today a slim plate with minuscule pieces like under half what you used to get a year ago. But the price has gone up ? Now for the prawns $5 each for five prawns and again the change is pitiful. They are nice but seriously skip those and go for the wings or Nachos better value for money. The atmosphere is great and great staff but my biggest question is do you think people are that stupid not to realize that you are doing these things? Making me choose Mexican restaurant with my wife as she explained better value. Great place to drink but awful value for money if you include food. 722 is definitely hit or miss. The menu is average with a few great meals, such as the chicken caesar salad. The bar area is noisy, but the patio makes up for that. With lots of seating, an outdoor fire place and heaters it is a great place to meet with friends. The service is mediocre and at times it can take a while for foods or drink to arrive. Heard about 722 from a friend and what an awesome place. Went for a meal and drink with an old friend. Flames hockey and NFL were both playing, with screens everywhere! On Monday November 5, 2018, we stopped in for lunch at this local restaurant in our area. We had been told prior by people who went that it was good. We were not disappointed, right from the get go we had tremendous service and it just happen to be specials on burgers ( all burgers) so we both ordered a burger with sides, and we were both my gal and I, completely overhwelmed with the quality, quantity and the taste. Everything was incredible and wonderfully cooked. in addition the service we received form our server Samatha was nothing short of outstanding! She was friendly, informative and responsive. Came here for a quick drink with a few friends during Stampede. They don't have an actual patio on the main floor, but the windows are massive and open up all the way, making the entire main floor feel open and breezy - it was really nice. They had a lot of staff on, and the service was prompt and friendly. Fridays they had some good beer specials, they had a ginger cider on for $6, it was delicious! I didn't order any food while there, but the food around me at other tables looked pretty tasty - standard pub fare, but smelled great. We went in for a drink and a snack. We asked our server if we could just have chips and salsa. She replied they could supply chips, but only pico de gallo as they had no salsa. The chips came with a very small bowl of pico (say, a quarter cup). The server asked if we would like a second bowl of pico when she saw it was empty when and we had half the chips left. We were charged $6 per each miniscule bowl of pico; came out to $17 for chips and pico. Server seemed unconcerned about the poor value being offered. They got me. We reluctantly revisited this restaurant for a friend's birthday. My husband had the Louisiana chicken dish and enjoyed it. I wanted roasted seasonal veggies (a side) warm potato salad (side) and chicken wings (appetizer) as a meal, but the only veggie they had was bok choy - so I had a caesar salad (side) and wings instead. The wings were on sale, and were a great deal. My salad was fast-food quality, the wings - teriyaki - were too saucy and didn't taste like teriyaki at all. The salt and pepper chicken wings the 6 of us shared were good - hot, crispy, not too greasy, well seasoned. The other meals looked good to me, with the exception of the chicken pasta - it looked watery. We shared a piece of chocolate mousse cake, and that was very tasty and not too sweet. The service was good, but the server could have done a better job of keeping the drinks coming, etc. I know it's a pub, but the overpowering smell of beer outside the restaurant, and inside was a bit too much for me. I hate the music. My husband can't sit in booths, so the only option both times we've been there is high bar stools. These are incredibly uncomfortable. We live in the neighbourhood and frequent 722 often - multiple times a week in fact Because of proximity and lack of other choices. The service ranges from very good to horrible - nothing in between. The food is sub par at best, the managers sitting on their buts at a table in the corner drinking and not checking on customer satisfaction. We have had numerous issues with poor management, poor customer service and issues from procedures such as not allowing our 9 year old to eat a DQ ice cream at our table after paying a $400 bill. Ridiculous. If any issues were to arise a manager on duty NEVER comes to the table and instead leaves it to the $15/hour minimum wage hostess to address any issues. Food is subpar at best and due to poor staffing and training I would highly recommend any other restaurants in the area who at least manage better. I wish there were more choices in our area as this restaurant is one of the worst examples of a neighbourhood pub. NO appreciation for patrons who come multiple times a week and are the ones who keep the doors open in slow times. Went here for Sunday Brunch. It was my nieces birthday and there was a group of 10 of us. Out of all of the orders anything with eggs or bacon was done incorrectly. I have to agree with many of the other reviews about 722. It has become a real disappointment. At first, we were pretty excited to have a cool new restaurant/bar so close to home..... But then we actually went inside. The concept is cool - big garage style doors that open so you can sit inside, but still get the patio feel. The cool factor stops there. It is crowded. I don't mean with people, I mean with tables. So. Many. Tables. You actually have to shimmy and dance to get around all the freakin' tables just to get to the bathroom. It has a very chaotic feel to it. And it's loud. Very very loud. Irritatingly loud. But enough about the crappy atmosphere. Let's talk about the crappy food. The menu appears to offer a good variety of pub fare and a little more exotic options as well. But the food is so sub-par. It tastes like any other place that offers the same. You might as well go to Boston Pizza. It's all very mediocre. And pricey too! Let me tell you, that $18 burger is not worth it. At all. Just don't do it. Their one saving grace is that they have good servers who do a great job and lots of different beers to choose from. They will also happily let you sample the beer before you commit to a whole pint, which is nice. But that's pretty much it. Crappy atmosphere, crappy food, crappy prices. Gave them a second and third chance. WOW was that a mistake it was even worse. Save your money or go to a fast food joint. Even though I hate greasy fast food the food at 722 is terrible. They offered me to come back and free dinner but I didn't take the offer as I wanted to see if anything changed. It did it is worse!!!! Run away this place is horrible . Unfortunate this was a great restaurant we actually went once a week at least but the last 3 visits just sucked. I have a 3 strike rule so I don't think I will go back. There cooking standards have just gone down hill one visit after another. Today the French fries I received what I would call the bottom of the deep fryer they were bits of hard over cooked crap not even resembling fries. They are served in a small bucket that was not even a quarter filled my husbands were fine and his bucket was at least half full and resembled fries. The visits before this was it took forever to be served and receive our food and the food that time was not that great. Over cook slow service I would highly recommend finding somewhere else. I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. First, we walk into the place, no one even notices us! We finally get our table they take our drinks, my cousin and I order a coke and they don't even have it! The waiter says" you can have a sprite or ginger ale". As I bite into my burger I begin to taste a hot dog, my burger tasted like a hot dog! seriously? And then the weird bun was burning my tongue. Then I bite into my Ceaser Salad and it was very warm it must have been sitting out for a long time. When I Tasted my fries they were so bland! it seemed like they were not seasoned. So I tried to season them but there were no ketchup, salt, or pepper on the table! My other cousins were as disappointed as me, that their burgers tasted like hot dogs. So we stopped eating this massacre and asked the waiter whats in their burgers? The waiter said half pork, half beef and then changed her mind and said 100% beef, pretty sketchy eh. All in all the manager didn't charge us for our burgers which was a kind gesture. But it was a very disappointing visit. Been here 15+ times. Usually prompt service, with decent food. However, the last time was horrible. The restaurant wasn't overly busy. Our drinks were left empty throughout our meal. A steak sandwich, that took well over 45min to come to our table, was over cooked when it did arrive. During which this time the 2 burgers that were delivered in under 20min, got cold. The server was polite, but did nothing until asked. The manager decided to pull the sandwich off the bill, but did nothing to rectify the 2 cold burgers.
