I used to love this place but it's gone down hill. The drink selection is still great, the service is just okay but the food is barely edible. They just came out with a new menu too! Overall nice atmosphere and good service but my wife's steak came out cold and when a new steak came out the seasoning was very salty tasting. My burger was good but was also very salty as was my mushroom soup. Overall good experience but food was way too salty. read more

Horrible ! First time we went for brunch all our food was cold, and one of the dishes was wrong. Second time we went the server took my boyfriends beer away when it still had 1/3 left and didn't ask him if he wanted another. For the tacos/wraps you have to pay for extra salsa wtf is with that !? This place is great. We had Lexy as our server. We recognized her from another place we often go to for food. She was nice and prompt with our orders. The manager checked up on our experience and wished us a good night in our way out. The Nachos were fantastic. Tons of toppings and cheese! We also ordered the salt and pepper wings. They were actually juicy (unlike others I've had in the area)! Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a good pub fare experience. The prices are a little steep but they have so much on tap and make everything in house... so if you are complaining about price, there's a lot of second rate pub experiences in the area. Absolutely pathetic service on a Sunday afternoon when the place is empty. Server was ignorant, non responsive and basically ignored us. When told she was useless, the server who pretended he was in charge was confrontational and tried to defend her. He failed miserably. Do not even bother with this place. It has horrible and I mean horrible service for overpriced, mediocre food. My wife and I had lunch here with our two daughters and it took over 20 minutes to get our drinks in a 1/4 full restaurant. Then waited another 45 minutes for our food. I understand a wait this long in a busy restaurant but it was not busy at all. My daughter wanted extra cheese on her pizza and the lazy server just put "add cheddar" rather than mozzarella. We didn't ask for extra cheese that isn't even on the pizza to begin with. Needless to say the cheddar was all greasy and gross and made the pizza a soggy mess. We also paid $4.50 each for kids glasses of milk. $9 for two kids drinks?? Ridiculous! The service staff honestly look like they would rather be anywhere else rather than doing their job. They are flat out lazy and disinterested, they are not friendly at all and look like they hate being there. Overall a rip off imposter with lazy thrown together food, lazy uninterested staff and excessively overpriced food. If this is what you are looking for 722 is the place for you. read more

Great beer selection, very poor service. On a Saturday night my wife and I sat at the bar and the bartender not only gave us attitude and slow service but other patrons as well. He was more worried about talking to and serving his friends and off shift co-workers at the far end of the bar than the patrons paying full price! The manager did nothing to recognize the challenge and or correct it when brought up. My glass will never be empty at 722 again as my wallet will never be opened there! read more

At one point we were regulars at 722. The staff is friendly and it is a clean atmosphere... However the prices' are ridiculous, for the "local pub" they charge 9 dollars for a basic beer. I would suggest you go to a happy hour somewhere downtown and get more bang for your buck. My husband had the beef stew in pastry that was raw. He sent it back and ordered a burger which was good but there was no adjustment for the fact that he ate by himself. I had the chili chicken sliders. The chicken pieces were flattened and about an 1/8" thick and didn't even cover the whole bun. Service was mediocre. Won't go back. read more

The halibut in my fish tacos were coated in what tasted like sweet thai chili sauce - completely clashed with the tomato salsa and aioli. We decided to try 722 World Bier Haus for brunch on a Saturday morning. They opened at 10am and we arrived at 10:15. There were two other tables in the restaurant. We ordered the eggs benedict and the French toast. We were asked on both orders how we would like our eggs cooked (soft, medium or hard). After considerable time waiting our ordered finally arrived. Both orders were barely warm, definitely not anything close to hot. The eggs were overcooked from what we requested for both orders. The hollandaise sauce was minimal on the eggs benedict so we asked for a small side of hollandaise. That came as we finished our meal (and we are not fast eaters). The side potatoes with the breakfast are deep fried potato chunks. They could make a lot more effort and do better side potatoes. As for the French toast, they said 'thick cut bistro bread' on the menu. It was nothing more than plain thin sandwich bread. Pretty disappointing overall. Don't bother with brunch here. There are much better places in the neighborhood (Brekkie, F&B, even Schooners Pub for adults). read more

I think this is a great addition to the neighbourhood and judging by how busy it is almost every day of the week I think many others agree. The friendly staff are what differentiates 722 from the other bars and restaurants in the west. I honestly don't know where the negative comments from some reviewers are coming from. I have been going to 722 since it opened a year ago and the staff are outstanding. I don't go for the food (it's what you'd except for a bar/pub): it's the staff and atmosphere that bring me back. Great daily specials and the beer selection is excellent....love that they support the local micro-breweries. My kids are huge fans of wing night and this is a favourite place for me to meet up with friends or watch a game. read more

08/11/15 My husband & I have been going to 722 since it opened.We have always had great service & delicious food. The portions that you get are such that we sometimes share a meal. The beer is great, awesome Caesars & good choice of wine. We use to go to Schooners but have not been back since 722 opened. I love the fact that children are able to join parents as well as grandparents for a meal. Definitely will go back!! read more

This restaurant and the 933 Group are NOT family friendly. We arrived here on a Monday evening at 6:20pm were seated by a hostess and just being given menus by the waitress when the on duty manager walked up and started explaining their no minors after 7pm policy as was on the website. When I protested it was before 6:30pm (the time of their last seating) and that there were many other families here he still proceeded to take the menus away and tell us we could not stay citing licensing etc. I got irate and admittedly used profanity as he was being completely unreasonable and made my 2.5 year old daughter feel like she was unwelcome despite all the other children eating their dinner. When I escalated the matter I got a pathetic one sentence apology then a paragraph saying they determined their manager followed policy despite directly stating in the same email that he did no follow policy as their last minor seating was at 6:30pm. I then escalated further on the phone to operations manager Jamie Mansour who did nothing but adamantly defend his lying night manager who apparently indicated he was going to allow us to stay but did not because of my use of profanity. This is a bald faced lie as I only got upset after he forced us to get up from our table, why should I have just left quietly? I can see the operations manager is of the same breed as his on duty manager. He referred to me as sweetheart and missy and young lady multiple times in our phone conversation, completely inappropriate things to call a woman and a mother. He never once focuses on the fact that they as a service industry had failed miserably but instead berated me for my use of profanity. Well in my books calling me "sweatheart" is 10 times more insulting then calling a ahole an ahole. Please do not give these family unfriendly pigs your business. read more
