This is the smallest chicken I ever got here. Last week I got one, was huge. I had separated leg and thighs put them in aome Tupperware for another day. Forgot about them. Last night they were off a bit so threw them out. Today I got another one and ot looks half the size. They downsized the chicken. I think this smaller one tastes better.

To me, they're very similar to the frozen chicken strips Costco already sells by the bag. The batch I got had clearly been sitting under the heat lamps for a while, which didn't do them any favors. That said, the breading was good, the chicken itself was decent and not overly dry, and the portion size is excellent for the price. The dipping sauce was sweet with a noticeable tang. I actually liked that it was tangier than Chick-fil-A's sauce, although it was still a bit sweeter than I usually prefer. My personal favorite dipping sauce is still Cane's sauce. Hot tip: If you buy the frozen Costco chicken strips and make them at home, lightly spray them with a little cooking oil after cooking, then dust them generously with Nashville hot chicken seasoning. You can buy a blend online or make your own. It's one of my favorite ways to kick them up a notch and turn them into Nashville hot chicken strips. Just reset your expectations. You're getting a generous amount of decent-quality chicken at a good price, not the next viral food sensation. If you're craving chicken strips and don't feel like firing up the air fryer, they're worth trying.

Maybe I came in from the wrong direction but there was some serious bottlenecking going on just to get in to the area. And then they had a lot of cars pull a hairpin right turn to get in to line for some of the far right pumps. It was just not the easiest stations to get in to. I also felt like a lot of the patrons were taking their time pumping gas and others not pulling through to get to a further pump once it became available. That just lead to a longer wait time than I'm used to at even the busiest of Costco gas stations, So, yes. This station is going to give you a better price than other stations in the area. But, if it looks busy, you might want to take a beat to consider if you have the time to wait for your turn (case in point I'm used to spending 5-10 minutes waiting for gas at other busy stations. I waited 15+ at this location). If you can wait, try & come here during off hours and I'm sure you'll have a very pleasant experience.

It's a review for a Shell gas station!…read more Well. I think at one point awhile back it was a Shell... then switched hands to a no-name brand (Sinclair, maybe?) and then now it's a Shell again! The switch happened a month ago according to the friendly clerk I asked inside. This Shell stood out because my usual go-to - the Shell off Brookhurst/Warner - was closed for maintenance. Shell app said this was the next nearest station. Cost-wise, I was a bit nervous, because it was nearly 60 cents/gallon less than other Shell stations in the area. I figured my picky car would let me know if it turned out to be subpar fuel. They have plenty of pumps here - well suited to serve the population since its so close to the 405 freeway. Convenience store has a lot of various sundries, drinks, snacks. Friendly clerks. There's also a car wash on-site. I'll report back if it turns out my car doesn't like the cheaper gas here. I know he's picky and will only be happy on Shell's 91 octane. He doesn't even like Costco gas. Hopeful that my usual Shell station opens up soon - in the meanwhile, this will be go-to.

Terrible window cleaning and missed spots when doing the exterior Armour All. Armando did a fantastic job with quality control, he did everything at this location. I'm a 17 year plus customer. We've been through the ups and downs with the place and always appreciated a friendly face and great customer service. No more. On our last visit on 6/14/26 the car was wasn't as good as before, the new staff needs more training. After 17 years of being a loyal customer to both locations, it's time to move on.
