I then have to return them, which is frustrating. I have been given a hard time in the past when returning these items. For example like the Honeycrisp apples, you know you can pay $10 for those and you get home and you got two of them that are just rotten. I've brought it up to your produce people and they said yeah that's no problem. Bring it back but then you get up to your return and they have to take a report type away. It's embarrassing. I wish they would really work on that. I was told by one lady up there that if they thank you return a lot of produce then they just don't let you in the future purchase produce. I thought that was ridiculous. Do a better job on going through your inventory to make sure it's not rotten. And also, I have a question to Costco when you buy for example the Kevin meals and you don't like him and you bring them back. It's a review for a Shell gas station!…read more Well. I think at one point awhile back it was a Shell... then switched hands to a no-name brand (Sinclair, maybe?) and then now it's a Shell again! The switch happened a month ago according to the friendly clerk I asked inside. This Shell stood out because my usual go-to - the Shell off Brookhurst/Warner - was closed for maintenance. Shell app said this was the next nearest station. Cost-wise, I was a bit nervous, because it was nearly 60 cents/gallon less than other Shell stations in the area. I figured my picky car would let me know if it turned out to be subpar fuel. They have plenty of pumps here - well suited to serve the population since its so close to the 405 freeway. Convenience store has a lot of various sundries, drinks, snacks. Friendly clerks. There's also a car wash on-site. I'll report back if it turns out my car doesn't like the cheaper gas here. I know he's picky and will only be happy on Shell's 91 octane. He doesn't even like Costco gas. Hopeful that my usual Shell station opens up soon - in the meanwhile, this will be go-to.
