A couple of weeks ago, they actually did say that it would be ready on Monday, May 18, 2026. they told me not to come by as they would call me as soon as it was ready. They never called. I finally, went by today Wednesday, May 27, 2026 to inquire as to the progress. There has been none as far as I can tell as they never answer a direct question about the process. I have been car-less for more than eight months! This is untenable. They became surly and raised their voices when I have been patient and polite throughout! I am filing a complaint with CA BAR. They should not be allowed to hold a customer's car for such a ridiculous length of time without an adequate explanation of why work is not being done.
