My only critique on the food is that the garlic bread was a thick hunk of toasted bread with a little butter but did not have any garlic flavor. The homemade croutons are made from the unused garlic bread and had a good flavor, so I'm not sure why the bread served with the meal was lacking in flavor. Perrett's is different from the usual Italian restaurant as it was surprising to see stroganoff soup and some Tex-Mex and Asian inspired dishes on the menu, but the food was good. I would eat here again and maybe try one of the tex-mex inspired dishes just to see what it's like.

While the food has always been very good, you really need to get here when the restaurant first opens because usually the food runs out and they are a bit slow to restock the buffet.

The stars of the day were the three local beers I tried: wheat beer, a double IPA, and a Baltic porter. All three hit the spot.
