    Abandoned Items throughout parking garage left for months.

    We really wanted to like this place but it was nothing but problems from the start. We constantly had people parking in our assigned spots, transients consistently in the staircases utilizing drugs and leaving needles, broken elevators, fights in the halls, vomit in the garage (that was reported twice but was never cleaned for over two months.. gross), and fire alarm issues (causing us to lose business due to cancelled calls). The manager would post vulgar signage (see photo) around the building calling it a "wretched piss and poop filled cesspool of disgust". He also forgot to send an e-mail to the building to let them know that there would be technicians entering our units for routine checks. Nonetheless, he allowed them to enter all the units instead of rescheduling. This is completely illegal as they are required by civil code to provide advanced notice. They still entered without knocking and without notice. Every time we went by the leasing office, it was someone different complaining about something. Stay clear!

    Where to begin... 1. The fire alarm would go off regularly. I missed important work calls due to the long length of time it took to turn them off. 2. People would park in my assigned parking spot regularly that I was paying extra for. I remember calling security and instead of towing the car, they made me park in guest parking on the ground level with a ticket to get in and out of the gate. I WAS PAYING FOR THE SPOT! 3. There was vomit in the garage next to my car I had asked over and over again to be cleaned up. 6 months later when I moved out, it was still there. 4. Someone used the parking spot next to me as their "storage unit". Many times I saw bugs on their belongings. I emailed to ask if something could be done and received a response that read "when they come back, we will ask them to clean it up". 6 months later when I moved out, the belongings were still there. 4. Often times when I would take out my dogs and use the stairwells, I would come across people shooting up drugs. With needles and foil. 5. The fob I was given rarely worked on the elevators and garage gate. Countless times (1-2 times a day), I would get stuck and have to take the stairs/back out of the garage and pay for parking on the street. The list goes on and on. 2020 was a tough year, and living in this building only made it more difficult. To sum up my experience at 7950 Sunset, please see the attached photo of an experience I had in one of the elevators. Shitty.

The building also has a really nice gym, which has been a huge plus for me. It's convenient, clean, and well-maintained. The neighbors are friendly, and the overall community feels welcoming. One of the biggest reasons I've enjoyed living here so much is because of Danny and Stephanie. They're always helpful, responsive, and truly care about the people who live here. They don't make you feel like just another tenant -- they treat you like family. Anytime something needs attention or an issue comes up, they handle it very quickly and efficiently. It's reassuring knowing management actually cares and takes action right away. I'm really grateful to call this place home and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to live in the area.

Hands down, so amazing - Units are S P A C I O U S - Neighbors actually are kind + talk to you - Communal area pool + ranges are amazing - Staff, did I mention that already? - Walking distance to amazing food + drinks - Well maintained building Cons - Parking for guests (street parking - plenty, so not bad) The parking is not a deal-breaker for your guests. If you have two spaces and don't have two cars, you can always get them into your other space to avoid street parking. With meters and lots all over the area, what else would expect from the city life? It's safe here and frequently monitored by SouthPark officers as well. What I'll sorely miss about this place were the relationships that I built. I knew the entire staff and would wave, talk, and truly lean in with them all. Whether it was before/after work, going out for the night, or chatting, they were more than friendly. They became my community of friends. They felt like family. The landlord, Sabrina, is an absolute dream to have on your team. She's personable, she listens, she cares, and she will do what it takes to make you confident in your home. Her team member Alex, is so sweet and hard working. Both of them rock a smile daily, and are very easy to talk to. The building is clean, they keep the units up to date and working efficiently and effectively. I went from a 2 bedroom, to a 1 bedroom over the course of a handful of years. My partner and I at the time were the very first renters to secure a unit in the brand new built complex. It was a virtually perfect living experience for us, and then myself alone in the one bed unit. Better late than never, I HIGHLY recommend this complex as a hop-skip-jump away from Sunset Blvd and all Silver Lake and Echo Park have to offer.
