It's always packed at 7th Street Burger. All locations. They season their meat very well. I enjoyed my smashed cheese burger. It was fresh and flavorful. Very clean. Indoor seating available. A calm relax spot for a easy grab burger and cold soft drink.

I was visiting from California, and one of the people I was staying with told me about 7th Street Burger. This was after I had mentioned to him that NYC doesn't have an In-N-Out Burger like in California. I was in the neighborhood for a rooftop party and walked up and down Bedford to see what the city has to offer me. I saw the 7th Street Burger and decided it was worth the calories, so I gave it a try. There was a long wait after ordering my cheeseburger and fries, but it was worth it. The burger was very, very good. Delicious. The service was 10/10. The vibe is excellent. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating.

They have a little menu off to the side and it says loaded fries. All the yumminess of the cheeseburger right on top of the fries.

Got to try double-cheeseburger and fries. Bun was soft. Smashed meat tender but could use more salt so bit bland. Fries seasoned but bit harder. I thought it overall was good not amazing but portions are definitely on the smaller size and was still hungry after. I could have probably eaten 2 double-cheeseburgers and 2 fries. For the portions its a bit pricy.

This is a no frills burger joint that has popped up all over NYC. Their store fronts are minimalist and their menu is simple. I love their double impossible burgers. They use a smash style for the patties, which gives them a juicy, satisfying bite. In the past, I've found their fries kind of basic, but this time around, they were extra crispy with just the right amount of oil. They are a little pricey for a fast food burger, but they've nailed their recipe and consistently deliver a tasty meal.

Wow! I mean one would think a cheeseburger is just a cheeseburger but 7th street Burger delivers so much more than just your average cheeseburger. Think of it as a crossover of a meaty patty with similar taste of White Castle/Quarter Pounder. Kind of like a mash up between the two but of course better. I stopped by in the evening and ordering was super easy. Customer service was super friendly as well. Don't forget to buy the delicious chocolate chip cookies up front as you wait for your food. The burger is greasy, don't get me wrong, but a good kind of greasy. It's the type of greasy where you just don't care what's going on with your arteries at the moment because you deserve the goodness of those well seasoned burger Pattie's. Enjoy. I know I did and I went back 3 more times days later.

If you like burgers, especially smash burgers this place is a great option. They have a simple menu, literally the cheeseburger, double, or fries. Burgers aren't very big, but the double plus fries is surprisingly filling. I always order an extra side of sauce to dip the burger and fries in. Fries are nice and crispy. The only thing to keep in mind is the burgers are quite greasy, which also makes the bun very soft. Restaurant is no frills. Limited seating. Majority of people get delivery or takeout. Order at the counter.

    Super thin burgers

Can you see how thin this burger is ? I'd be embarrassed to serve this and call it a burger - why they have so many rating is a big mystery to me. Place is pretty empty on a busy afternoon. Maybe quality went down after the burgers got thinner. If you are hungry - I definitely don't recommend this place. Paper thin burgers

Overhyped :( Truly nothing special about this smash burger. One of the best aspects of a smash burger are when the edges of the beef patty get crispy from the grill, however this beef was missing that. Overall, the burger was really nothing to write home about. The flavor (or lack thereof honestly) didn't wow me and I was left very unsatisfied with the meal. Oh and the fries are mid as well. I was super surprised given how much hype this place has, but it's sadly just not for me.

Let's start with the good - the service and ambiance were on point. I went on a Sunday evening around 7pm. It was busy inside, but since I was a solo diner I was seated immediately by the bar. The servers were friendly and attentive. Probably 3-4 different people checked in multiple times throughout the meal. Where I struggle is with the actual burger itself. As a non-resident New Yorker, for me $22.50 is a lot to spend on a burger and fries. It needs to rock my world at that price point. And it just didn't. I got the B&B Burger. The onion ring tasted like it had been refried a second time to make my burger. The bread was crumbly like it was on the verge of going stale. The actual beef patty itself was decent - good flavor. Usually I can overlook an okay burger if the fries are top notch, but these fries were under-seasoned and also 'just okay'. I also got a side of Chicken Tenders. These were good - no complaints here. I really wanted to like this spot, but not sure this would be a return visit for me.

I ordered: * Truffle Maker ($11.59) * Truffle Parmesan Fries ($6.50) * Chicken Bites with BBQ sauce ($8.05) * Large Yuzu Honey Lemonade ($4.00) Truffle maker was pretty good and I was glad I was able to remove the caramelized onions and truffle aioli (I'm picky). The bun is soft and sweet and the burger has a good amount of sautéed mushrooms. Truffle Parmesan fries were pretty standard, but still very good. Yuzu honey lemonade has bits of citrus at the bottom of the drink and it was refreshing. I saved the chicken bites hours later and it was still pretty crispy after being microwave. Texture was reminiscent of Taiwanese popcorn chicken, nicely seasoned. Overall had a pleasant experience, I definitely want to return and try the rest of their menu.

Not all restaurants have restrooms that are made available to customers. That is an A+ in my book. Food 10/10 I ordered Hous Burger (hold the onions. Don't at me) it was pretty good. The taste of their burgers is different from most of the burger places I have tried before. I have also ordered Yuzu Honey Lemonade. I was trying to taste the honey in the lemonade. I guess I was expecting too much. The drink was refreshing. I may try the Matcha Yuzu Lemonade next. I met a gentleman who goes by the name Ten P aka 10pushups on IG. He recommended that I try his cola shake. That is what I got, plus the whipped cream. I was honestly looking for the taste of Coca-Cola because Cola is in the name. Regardless of what I expected, the shake was pretty good. I am not a shake person, so when he asked me to try it, I made an exception. Overall: I plan on coming back to Bun Haus. This was good eats.

I prefer what they call a "knife and fork job" where the sandwich, the meat the bread is all dunked and comes out in a river of au jus. Curious about the "famous" Brooklyn roast beef war -- yeah! it's a thing! -- T and I decided to see for ourselves. (Once I try the competition I'll weigh in with my vote.) We both went with rare roast beef, cheese and onions. T asked for his double-dipped in gravy. Yum! Short of five stars, but yum nonetheless. We ordered two unhealthy sides which added to the decadence of our lunch: corn fritters and onion rings. If you only get one, go with the fritters. The place is busy.
