We live in Redlands CA. Finding someone we could trust to care for our senior German Shepherd was very difficult, but from the moment Brenda came to meet him, we knew she was special. She was kind, patient, and wonderful with him right away. On the very first night we were gone, our dog suddenly became very ill and could not get up. It was an emergency situation, and Brenda immediately took control. She found a mobile veterinarian who came out that same night and stayed with our dog for over four hours. She went far beyond anything we ever could have expected from a pet sitter. Although we felt terrible not being there with him, Brenda cared for him as if he were her own dog. We spent hours on the phone together, and with her compassion, support, and guidance, we made the heartbreaking decision that it was his time. Her genuine love, concern, and calm action during such a painful moment meant more to us than words can express. She even helped contribute toward the emergency veterinary service. Brenda is truly an extraordinary person, and we will never forget the kindness and care she showed our beloved dog and our family during one of the hardest nights of our lives. We were really stressed because my petsitter went away to college and with a bunny, 3 rescue cats, two birds and a couple of dogs, one of them, Treasure, a formerly abused girl...We really needed someone we could trust. We also needed someone that Treasure wouldn't be afraid of. Our animals are not high maintenance but they do love attention! My mom was a petsitter when I was growing up in Norco and my sister is a petsitter in Oregon and I grew up on a ranch, so the bar is set pretty high by our family. Brenda and Tracey cleared that bar, no problem! When they came over to meet all our critters, they took very detailed notes even though it was only going to be two visits. They asked if I wanted them to bring my mail and newspaper in, they would water the plants and turn on the lights. They also would stay over if my animals needed it. Then we walked through the house and they again took lots of notes. We met the dogs and Treasure barked and then came up to Tracey and gave her kisses. That told us all we needed to know! We used them again a few weeks ago for a longer trip and they let me know after every visit how everything was going. We had a tiny miracle after they watched the kids again. Treasure went to my groomer and did beautifully! This couldn't have happened without Tracey being so kind and gentle to Treasure. Let me start with my dogs are 10 and 13. They have ONLY ever been left with Family. I was VERY hesitant to not only leave my dogs over night but with strangers. Until I met Brenda and Co. Branda and Masa are amazing pet walkers. My dogs instantly connected with them during the meet and greet session.. Masa sends poop reports and pictures after every walk which is very helpful :) I recently got into a situation where I had to leave town for a week and I didn't have enough notice to book boarding, only to find out all places were full. Brenda is truly gifted with animals! We moved to Redlands and knew no-one to watch our little four-legged baby girl. Naturally, I hopped on yelp. Brenda was the first name that came up. After speaking with her on the phone and a consultation. I knew she would love on my baby like we wanted. Morgan took immediately to her. When Brenda would watch Morgan she would send pictures of her. We truly enjoyed receiving them and it put our minds at ease. Our little love got a cancerous tumor and became sick. Brenda was there for all of us during the whole gut-wrenching process of deterioration. At one point we had company and asked Brenda to just sit with Morgan for a few hours so she didn't have to be alone. Brenda was so loving to her sharing any food she brought because at that point Morgan was being very particular about what she ate. At a low point in Morgan's health, I called Brenda to see if she wanted to visit her. Brenda came right over, even though it was very late at night. She gave us some suggestions on how to make her more comfortable. What was very telling was when she saw Brenda she wagged her tail. Morgan hadn't wagged her tail all day, but Auntie B got a wag. First of all, this is the first time I've ever written a review on Yelp. I found Brenda (8 days a week pet sitting) online and hiring her was the best choice I've ever made. She is absolutely amazing! The best dog sitter/nanny you will ever find....trust me! She immediately connected with my Border Collie and it was a hit. She learned all my cat's names the first day (I have 4). I had Brenda as my pet nanny for 6 months. I work very odd hours and she came to my house everyday I worked and walked my dog, fed him, played with kitties and even took him to the dog park. She even walked him at midnight sometimes! I received a text from her daily about his progress and she frequently sent me pictures of him chasing lizards, fetch, etc. Brenda quickly learned about all his problem areas and was cautious with him. For example, he likes to chase people on bikes and skateboards and she learned to hold him tight around people with "wheels". She truly loves animals and picks an activity that she thinks your dog would like. She is a true Nanny and I trust her 100 percent.
