She was kind, patient, and wonderful with him right away. On the very first night we were gone, our dog suddenly became very ill and could not get up. It was an emergency situation, and Brenda immediately took control. She found a mobile veterinarian who came out that same night and stayed with our dog for over four hours. She went far beyond anything we ever could have expected from a pet sitter. Although we felt terrible not being there with him, Brenda cared for him as if he were her own dog. We spent hours on the phone together, and with her compassion, support, and guidance, we made the heartbreaking decision that it was his time. Her genuine love, concern, and calm action during such a painful moment meant more to us than words can express. She even helped contribute toward the emergency veterinary service. Brenda is truly an extraordinary person, and we will never forget the kindness and care she showed our beloved dog and our family during one of the hardest nights of our lives. On a recent trip out of town, Brenda quickly noticed that our cat was having a serious medical issue that required a trip to an emergency clinic. Not only did Brenda transport our cat, but she stayed with her until the doctor on duty could speak with me and a decision was made for her care. Brenda spent in excess of five hours making sure our cat was getting the care she needed. Since that time Brenda has continued to check in on her and us. Brenda is an angel!

I have never left him with anyone other than my parents / sister to care for him. Martina came over to our home for a meet & greet & Steve immediately took to her. He seemed comfortable and happy around her. We left him with her for just over a week & I felt so at peace. Martina posted plenty of pictures of Steve on her IG page so I was able to see what he was up to and he seemed to be having the time of his life over there. I was worried he would not want to come back home! Martina is awesome at communicating and is very pleasant to be around. I will never take Stevie anywhere else. It takes a while for Bailey to warm up to humans but Martina allowed Bailey to warm up to her at her own pace. After the trial half day, we were excited that Bailey would be in great hands and would have friends to play with!! We left Bailey with Martina for a little under a week and we are so happy with the love and attention Martina provided Bailey. She was very professional and kept us updated every day, either through videos/photos on instagram or through text. Bailey looked so happy in all the photos and videos!!! My father had medical issues and could no longer care for Hunter, and Kathryn not only boarded Hunter for 2 months, but she facilitated finding an adopting family. Hunter's new forever family lives in Maryland, so Kathryn arranged for cross-country transport for Hunter, in addition to taking him to the Vet to get all of his medical clearances for adoption.
