I've never had to worry about my dog Zack's safety while he is with one of their walkers. I always know he is being well taken care of. Valerie, Jack, and Tiffany have been some of the walkers my dog has and they were all amazing! Our neighbors always expressed how great the walkers are with Zack. I have been using Superpet Services over the past three months now to schedule two walks per week for my pup (Nova), and I am very glad I went with this company. Katie and her staff are very professional, and more importantly I trust them with the safety of my dog and with access to my house. That is not easy to do! This company also has a very unique, easy-to-use phone app that lets you set walking appointments (or other services like pet sitting or visits to let your dog relieve themselves) and setup your payment options. On top of that, after every completed walk or visit, your dog's walker will give a report of how the walk went and you'll get sent an email containing the report, pictures, and a little map showing the route they took. It's a pretty awesome little app, and the email report is something I look forward to reading every time. The walkers themselves have also been very friendly and they genuinely care about your dog being safe and also having a good time. If it's too hot outside for a walk, they will spend time with your dog indoors playing with them. You can also schedule meet-and-greets with your dog's walker to ask questions or tell them about the particulars of your pup. When I got a call that my brother who lived out of state passed away in an accident, my husband and I literally dropped everything and got on the plane the following day---everything but our critters that needed care and attention. She and her staff took care of our animals while we were on vacation last year and did a great job. Katie called me back right away and even though it was such a short notice, said that she could take care of the critters. And she and her staff did. It was mostly Valerie that came and took care of the critters and she was wonderful. Probably a great choice for dogs, but not for cats or animals who are nervous unless you are ok with them being ignored. I used Superpet for several visits over the past year or so with 3 different sitters. I thought the latest one would work out, and had a great meet and greet and one good trip with him, but the second trip this past weekend was kind of a disaster and all of the good things from before went out the window. He stopped giving me updates, failed to let me know the cats were not eating their wet food, and left a package sitting by the front door for 3 days. I'm not going to get into all of the details, but there were more issues as well. I discovered a lot of it when the updates stopped and I got curious and went back to review the video footage (I have cameras set up to check in on the cats on a normal basis, totally out in the open and had even discussed with this sitter on his first trip that I could watch the footage when he couldn't find one of the cats on a visit). I understand that my cats are a bit nervous and am realistic about their limitations, which is why I stressed in my instructions in the app, emails and texts with the sitters, and the two meet and greets, that communication was important (i.e. if the cats aren't eating let me know so I can feed them extra dry food through the automatic feeder late at night when nobody is around, or if you can't find them let me know so I can watch camera footage from when there is no sitter there). Each trip the cats had trouble eating wet food at some point but not once did a sitter communicate that to me. I only discovered it by watching the videos. The real kicker for me is that twice when I brought up issues to Katie she offered the option of a different sitter, but also was defensive and tried to make excuses for her sitters. There is no excuse when a service you advertise is not provided. There is no excuse for a sitter sitting on their phone in the house running out the clock instead of trying to interact with the animals. (I don't buy the argument that they were "hoping for the animal to be comfortable to come out" because there was zero effort toward that end when they weren't even in the same room). And there is no excuse when I have the questionable behavior on camera. And both times she offered the excuse first without asking for further details. In the end, my cats are safe, and my house is safe, but I don't feel comfortable paying almost $30 per visit for this service considering the poor communication, failure to review and follow my instructions in the app, and the resulting fact that I have to spend significant portions of my trip reviewing camera footage to make sure my cats are ok and figure out how much supplemental food to provide. read more

You can actually see exactly where they walked your dog, book your appointments, and pay through the app. I have service dogs who are trained to stay by my side, so they were a bit anxious about being walked without me (I injured myself and couldn't walk them).
