This was my first time stopping by this shop, as I was recommended here from a loved one. We brought in two little chihuahuas to get their nails cut and the experience was pleasant. The groomer whose name I believe was Kaley, was super sweet and I immediately felt that the animals were in safe, trusting hands. I can't give much more of a review than that, given that we couldn't get the dogs groomed. Unfortunately, they aren't accepting new clients at the moment which seems to be a prolonging issue for people who want to give this business a more in-depth try.

This is my first time taking my dogs to whiskers to tails and I didn't really know what to expect since I typically cut their hair by myself, but they came out looking so good! I went through so many dog groomer yelp pages, and let me tell you, there is a good reason why whiskers to tails has a 5 star rating. I came into the store and was greeted by very friendly staff who asked a lot of helpful questions about how I wanted them to cut their hair and those kinds of details. I honestly was just okay with anything as long as their hair was cut, so all the questions they asked me really helped me start to visualize what exactly I wanted for my dogs. I also let them know that one of my dogs gets really fussy around her ears, but they still did an amazing job cleaning up that area. The standard grooming package comes with a cut, trimmed nails and filed, and anal expression. It's also very standard and affordable pricing for seriously top quality. One of my dogs had a nail that was loose that I did not notice when dropping them off, and the staff let me know when I went to pick them up that his nail had just popped off and they disinfected him with hydrogen peroxide. I really appreciate them letting me know and being honest about it even though it's such a minor "injury" it's still good to know about in case an infection does occur. But don't worry he's doing good and I've been keeping an eye on his little paw and he's completely fine. My dogs came out so friggin cute and I still can't stop obsessing over how cute they are. Idk if it's just in my head but they smell fresh and their coats feel so soft. I really couldn't recommend this place more. The staff are nice and did such a great job, I know for a fact that I'll be visiting Whiskers to Tails frequently.

This place is awesome! My mini poodle absolutely loves coming here (mostly because she knows how cute they make her.) She can be a brat but both groomers are patient with her and do an amazing job at making her look adorable. They are the best! My senior dog is so loved on and taken care of here. They treat him like one of their own. He has skin allergies and he always comes out looking and smelling awesome, and he just prances in his little bandana they give him because he feels so good! If your fur baby is your family, this is where you want to bring him!!! read more

I have taken my dog, Zuma, here quite a few times and have been super pleased every time! Everyone is so friendly here and gentle with the pups and Zuma always comes out looking and smelling amazing! The place is clean and I love how you can see everything from the front. Prices are fair. Overall, a great place with talented staff who treat my dog nicely and do a great job every time, and fair prices. I definitely feel at ease leaving Zuma with them. read more

Whiskers to Tails did a wonderful job. I decided to come to them after a few bad previous experiences with my normal groomer @ Coventry Pet resort. Kaley was really kind when setting up the appointment on the phone & in reminding me about my dog's appointment. Additionally, when dropping our dog off we told them last minute that our dog had some skin/allergy problems, and they were super kind/understanding about it, and gave her a medicated bath. Our dog has a lot of anxiety and isn't the best behaved sometimes, but Whiskers to Tails did an AMAZING job! They've definitely got a new customer in me and my dogs. read more

I've been taking my Cavalier King Charles here for a couple of years, and Kaley is always so incredibly sweet and patient, especially since my dog is sensitive (read: a huge baby). He's always eager to get to their door, so I know he likes it there! I love that Kaley puts the dog's comfort first, and they take good notes about your preferences. If you have a puppy who is having their first grooming experience, this is the perfect place to take them! They will make sure the experience is positive and they always put the dog's comfort and well-being first. read more

This is just a amazing place. I have been bringing my rotts to her for years to cut their nails. They aren't aggressive at all but getting their nails cut by strangers, obviously they don't like to much. Now my big rottie comes in, says what's up, goes in the back for her nails cut and doesn't want to leave the table. Straight lays there after, for treats and to be pet. They have developed a relationship, that's pretty amazing for someone who cuts, picks, and grinds their nails. They have a strong waiting list for baths but if you just need ears or nails cut, just bring them in. Well well worth the 10.00 read more

Kaley is amazing! I don't trust my doodles, Toby & Charlie, with anyone else, and they don't seem to mind going for their haircut here as much as they have other places in the past. I am very hesitant to trust anyone with my dogs but I trust Kaley completely. She does a great job getting rid of any mats without causing a lot of pain and my pups always look adorable when we pick them up. She's very busy (because she's good) so make sure you plan ahead and book in advance. You won't regret it! read more

I love this place so much the workers are the absolute best. We've taken all 4 of our babies here and know they are hand fulls. My big girl has been kicked out of multiple groomers and I used to have to get her sedated to be groomed. I told the girls about the problem and told me to just bring her in without the meds. My baby has never looked so stress free coming out of a groomers before. The girls there are so sweet and patient and we really appreciate them. I love Cheryl she is great. I have a spoiled 4 pound Chihuahua that requires bimonthly visits. Unfortunately her previous owners didn't know she was royalty and were abusive. The poor thing has the scars to prove it. So naturally she isn't very good with strangers and is scared to death of anything that looks like a veterinarians office or that confines her to a cage or kennel. She doesn't do well with other dogs and is a known biter. Our previous groomer had to put a muzzle on her so many times I lost count. She hated going there and I decided to try Whiskers to Tails. My dog actually behaves when she goes here. She still tries to snap, but they are so understanding. She hasn't been overly aggressive to anyone and she even wags her tail when they finish. The prices are also very reasonable. You can tell that they genuinely love dogs. She does exceptional work with Scottish Terriers and West Highland Whites I've also seen some super cute Schnauzers. I only wish they took credit cards since I always forget to get cash. read more

Kaley did such a wonderful job on my sweet little Rosie! She did exactly what I asked and it felt like she truly wanted me to be happy with the results. (Couldn't be happier!!) I will definitely keep supporting Whiskers To Tails! I had been taking my dog to Petsmart for grooming and I decided to finally stop because my dog would go in and leave completely terrified. I wanted to feel confident leaving my dog at the groomers without feeling like a bad dog mom. When i started bringing my Shitzu here, he was initially nervous, but he came out with a wagging tail and he was not withdrawn like he would get after leaving Petsmart. Finding a local groomer was probably the best change for my dog because I feel like the staff genuinely cares for the dogs and their craft of great haircuts for our fur babies! I brought my service dog, a Labrador-golden mix in for a bath and brushing. They offered a "deshedding bath" which I opted for because my dog sheds a LOT. The process took about two hours. His coat looks beautiful! He is also not shedding for the first time in years! I did have some concerns because the staff had several dogs loose and wandering around the back of the store. Dogs--even the most well-behaved dogs--can be unpredictable when with other dogs, and I'm not one to let my dog loose with strange dogs or dogs I'm not sure I can trust. You can never be too careful. Fortunately it appears that it was an uneventful two hours. read more

I keep bringing my baby back because of how professional the staff are. It is a nurturing and friendly environment. Pricing is extremely fare. Their attention to detail as well as explaining anything about your pups day at their pet salon is exceptional. Always remember... different breeds require different maitnence. My Pomeranian and I love this place! I've been taking my little guy there for about a year and a half now and they always do a phenomenal job and I especially love the cute little accessories Spunky comes out with. They are fast, friendly, and provide a quality grooming! Last time I was a there my little guy got sent home with a tie and I wanted to die it was so cute! Haha read more

Kaley and her staff are so great with my miniature dachshund. I've been taking my dog since she was a puppy and every single time she looks perfect! Kaley and her team are professional, caring and extremely thorough when it comes to grooming. The shop is always clean and the staff is always over the top accommodating. Love love love this place! I love this place already. I was looking for a new groomers closer to home but was having a hard time finding a place that did small dogs with long hair not just shaving dogs down. I wish I remembered the girl's name to give her a shout out bc she did such a great job with my Yorkie. She listened to what I wanted and at the end asked to make sure this is what I wanted and if I liked it. Sounds basic but most groomers don't do that. Will be bringing him back for sure. read more

Tried whiskers to tails for the first time this week for grooming and was very impressed !!! I'm very picky about what I want for my fur baby's cut (so much so that I bring in printed out pics haha, yes I'm that person ) and I haven't found a store to get it right the first time until now !:) Even if it wasn't, i would still come back because the groomer took the time to listen to what I was looking for and asked if I was happy with the results at the end and genuinely seemed to want to make the customer happy . This in addition to their welcoming attitude , clean and well decorated store and prompt grooming (~1.5 hours) is exactly what I am looking for and I will be back ! Omg. These girls are amazing. I brought in my recently acquired dogs that have never been groomed or been professionally bathed and they did so well. This was my first time here. I made an appointment a couple days ago and they fit my little guy in this morning. I love this place and definitely will be back. Super friendly and nice as soon as I walked in. They let my dog take his time walking to the back instead of pulling him on his leash. Very welcoming. He was done in 2 hours! I was very happy about that because most places take your dog and make them sit in a crate for a while- they don't do that here at all. The girls are awesome and clearly have a love for animals. read more

From the moment I dropped Bella off I knew she was in good hands. The groomer took her time to ask me what I wanted and left her hair between her eyes like I had asked so it could grow into her pony top. She was very welcoming and you could tell she loves dogs. I love Whiskers to Tails! I bring my Shih Tzu, Appa, to Kaley every 6 weeks or so. She always does a good job and he loves seeing her. She's very attentive and always asks if there is anything we would like to change or if he needs anything extra. I especially love the bandanas that she puts on him whenever he's done being groomed. He always comes home eager to show off his trim. :) read more

Kaley was born and raised in Redlands and has always been a true animal lover. She attended West Paw School of Dog Grooming in 2011 and has been grooming full time since her graduation. Whiskers To Tails was purchased from the previous owner Cheryl on April 1st, 2016 and is now a family owned business with Kaley and her mom Vicki.

Even when I'm connected directly to the internet rather than Wi-Fi, the cameras still appear blurry. I just wish the cameras in the play areas were a bit clearer. Overall though, we've had a really positive experience and Susie always comes home happy and tired.

When I spoke with Brenda, the owner, she gave me clear instructions on how to help my boy get comfortable with the experience. She advised me to touch his paws, ears, and random areas, brush him consistently, and get him used to the handling they do. She made it clear that consistent handling at home and at the shop is what would help him succeed. Although he's not completely perfect yet, we've gotten him to a point where he can be successfully groomed! The overall grooming experience was fantastic. When it was my turn, they confirmed the dates she will be staying, literally took her to the back and didn't ask about vaccination or anything. It was very fast and felt off, but whatever. When I asked to see photos of where she would be staying they acted strange, as if my question was taboo. They didn't have any they could show me so I literally dropped my cat off and have no idea where she is going. Awesome. I left and in the car called to speak to someone who would send me photos - it was odd how they made it so difficult to send me 1 photo. They said they did take a photo but the cat was blurry so they will try again later.....Huh??? It's not hard to send a photo in 2026. Anyways, at pick up when they brought out my cat, they gave her back to me in the WRONG CARRIER. That was my sign that this business is shady and unorganized. The guy panicked when I told him the carrier wasn't mine and took them an additional 10 minutes to get the right one. And yes, I checked to see that they gave me the right cat. They also included a dirty old cat toy in the carrier covered in hair that was not ours. Gross. Very chaotic - never will be returning and would not recommend.

Most recently, I brought my cat in for an eye issue and was quoted over $600 for an exam, sedation, tests, and medication. The price immediately felt extremely high, especially for an eye infection, so I decided to call another veterinary clinic to compare. The other clinic examined both of my cat's eyes, and the total cost came out to under $120 including medication. They also determined that sedation was not necessary at all. My cat was calm, friendly, and even purring during the exam, which made me question why sedation was being pushed so strongly at the first clinic. This clinic does not allow pet owners to accompany their animals due to "safety protocols," so it left me wondering how my cat was being handled during the visit. Another frustrating part of the experience is that you don't actually speak directly with the doctor. All communication goes through the technician, who goes back and forth between you and the doctor. As a pet owner, I would much rather speak directly with the veterinarian responsible for my pet's care, instead of receiving information through a middle person. At the other clinic, the doctor was with me during the entire exam, explaining everything step by step, which felt much more transparent and reassuring. What also shocked me was that they mentioned charging a fee for each CPR attempt in case of an emergency. As a worried pet owner, hearing about additional charges like that felt extremely discouraging and overwhelming. Isn't the priority supposed to be protecting the life of the animal under their care? This unfortunately isn't my first bad experience here. During a previous visit, my cat needed a cast. After the procedure, she was still sedated and very sleepy, and the cast fell off immediately after we got home. She had barely moved, so it clearly wasn't my fault or my cat's fault. I called the clinic hoping they would fix it since it appeared to be an issue with how the cast was applied, but they charged me again to redo it. At the time I didn't push for a refund because my cat's wellbeing came first. Looking back now after this second experience, I truly feel I deserve a refund for that cast, since the issue was not caused by anything I did or by my cat. I do want to say that the front desk staff have always been kind and supportive, and I appreciate them. However, overall my experiences with this clinic have been very disappointing. I care deeply about my cat and want a veterinary office that is honest, transparent, and focused on the animal's wellbeing, not adding unnecessary services that dramatically increase the bill. There are other veterinary clinics in the area that provide great care without making pet owners feel this way. I strongly encourage others to seek a second opinion before committing to treatment here.

We took our three dogs to be groomed at Whiskers to Tails at the recommendation of our neighbor, who is also a client of Whiskers to Tails. I was really nervous because one of our dogs had never been groomed and is really skittish, but he did great! We have two maltese/poodle mixes and a springer spaniel. Khloe Bear looked so clean and fresh and cute with her thanksgiving bandana! I love the service and the people over there.
