Goat yoga in Anahola was pure joy. I feel like we all connected to our inner playful child as well as the beauty of Kaua'i. After we checked in, we put our things away near by and were given a mat and towel. We all gathered inside the gazebo then, Kaala shared a bit of history about Kaua'i and the Kalealea mountain range in front of us before giving Shira the thumbs up to send the goats to us. The goats came charging excitedly down the hill, ready to hang out with us and snack on the animal crackers spread around our mats. Shira lead us into several yoga poses and stretches while the goats brought us many laughs, smiles and encouragement. It was such a unique and fun experience having these animals entertain us! Watching them jump on people's backs, head but each other and ignore our personal space was absolutely adorable and hilarious. After our sweet session with Shira and the goats, she took pictures of each group who attended to capture more memories with the goats. I have a small back so the goats were weary to jump on mine for a picture, but nonetheless we still got great photos and a few selfies! Of course we had to check out the school bus revamped into a goat yoga shop. I bought a cute brown crop top with an 808 goat yoga logo in front and a cool drawing of the bus and goats on the back. There were also shirts, pullovers, tanks, hats, stickers and yoga mats for purchase. Venmo and cash is accepted. If you are visiting Kaua'i you have to check this place out. Worth every penny! This was easily one of my favorite and most memorable parts of the trip. Such a fun atmosphere and experience for a great price. You can tell these goats love their life and are well taken care of. Shira and Kaala clearly put a lot of work and TLC into making sure everyone benefits from the experience, goats and people. You can bet you'll feel better after than when you arrived. This place is amazing! The staff is so open, warm, welcoming and friendly. The experience starts off with some Hawaiian history, and specifically Kauai history, as well as the history of Anahola itself. We LOVED being immersed and welcomed into the story of the land. Then, the most adorable goats come running down a hill toward you and join you in the yoga area, where you're taken through a light yoga flow, with the goats walking around, snuggling up to you, and generally being their adorable selves (they may even act as a temporary head or foot rest). After yoga, there's time for photos, more conversation with the staff, and to shop in the cutest converted bus gift shop. We've been here twice now and will always make it a point to take another lesson when we come back. All-around, an amazing experience! read more

I've always wanted to do goat yoga and it really was the highlight of the trip! It was a flow yoga style good for experienced and never before done yogis! It was so fun to see how silly all the goats acted during the lesson trying to reach up trees to eat leaves! 808 Goat Yoga was the high point of our trip to Kauai. Perfect for die-hard yoga enthusiasts (my daughters) or novices (me). The class began with a warm welcome and short history of the Hawaiian islands and is held on the lawn under a large pergola. Participants were invited to focus on an intention, wish, or gratitude and information about the class and our goat partners was shared. The yoga instructor was excellent and provided instructions on how to adapt moves to match your skill level. Once the goats are released, it's their domain. I loved petting, scratching and loving on the goats. Time is provided after class to interact with and take pictures with the goats. We then stowed our towels and cleaned our mats (both are provided) and headed into a charming, converted bus to do some shopping. I highly recommend anyone coming to Kauai to carve out some time for this unique, spiritual, and fun experience. read more

What a wonderful experience. The history of the area that we were given at the beginning of class helped connect us to the ground before the goats came in. We loved hearing their names and about their personalities, and how social they were during class. It was a relaxed practice but still included everything a traditional yoga class would so you could get a good workout while enjoying the goats. We found a brochure for this place yesterday and we decided to check it out. When we drove in, we saw that there was a big mango tree, so we asked the owner, who was very friendly and funny, about it, and she told us that we could pick as many as we wanted. One of the best parts was when the goats ran down the hill. They were so cute! The yoga was very relaxing and pretty funny with the goats fighting and running around. You do get to take pictures with the goats at the end and feed them mango tree leaves. There is also a merch bus with shirts and stickers to buy. The views are breathtaking and you also get a little Hawaiian history in the beginning. 10/10 would recommend coming in the morning for a relaxing yoga session. read more

We had a lovely yoga session here - the addiiton of the young goats was fun, adding a lot of giggles and tenderness to the session. All of the students were tourists like us, so it was a light and enjoyable atmosphere. Professional teacher and staff - easy access from the road, great location. The only downside for me was the invitation to have goats jump up on your back during the class. I said "yes" when one of the assistants asked me, thinking that a small kid would jump up lightly on my downward dog pose. I had not calculated that goats have claws and when the assistant put a little treat on my back as a cue for the jumpers, a couple of the larger goats hopped up on me, grinding their claws into my back. I have several painful red scars down my back sadly. My responsibility for agreeing to the goat grind trick, but I think bad practice to include this option into the class. read more
