    Mini monster golf
    Joan R.

It was a rainy night and we wanted to do something indoors after dinner. So miniature golf and milkshakes seemed perfect. The mean mugs milkshakes were great, and tasted yummy. It took a while to get them but well worth the wait. The monster mini golf was a lot of fun with dark purple and blue lights. Some stations were challenging but we did all 18 holes. We enjoyed everything and had a fun night!

Prices were not crazy so that is good. Checkin for bowling wast fast. Our son went to order a milkshake (their big selling point) - took forever in himordering and then getting it. I heard a party next to us saying "service sucked." The bowling is really nice coaches but it's squishy to bowling. It's also a much smaller area to walk and bowling. It's also narrow due to the the ball area in the "runway." So I know this has high ratings since so many other bowling alleys are gross (and this is nice) but they skipped for bowlers.

We loved everything about this place! The bowling was super fun and the food was awesome!! The milkshake bar has to be the highlight of this place! Its so many different delicious choices to pick from. We doubled back later that evening for a game of pool, but all of the tables were occupied. It was cool we had did KARAOKE instead! It was right! Very nice bar and arcade games as well!

Midnight madness or something like that! Delicious!

Family and I are on vacation and stopped by because we have a store that sells milkshakes similar to Mean Mugs, however, this place is awesome! A couple of different things you can find here: delicious milkshakes, a huge bar, live music, indoor mini golf, arcade games, ping pong tables, billiards, and bowling! And one of the best things about this place is that it stays open until 11 (at least the milkshake place). My husband and I walked around the premises while waiting for our milkshakes to be made (takes a while since the line is long and there's a lot to the milkshakes) and we were pleasantly surprised about how awesome the place is! The milkshakes are delicious and awesome and you get to keep the glass it came in! Definitely will be back to at least play some ping pong next time we come to visit.

We absolutely enjoyed our visit! They are a little pricey but the atmosphere is great and the food is delicious! The establishment was clean, the have 2 bars, bowling, pool tables, glow in the dark putt putt and more!!! The blue cheese sliders were phenomenal! My entire family had a great time! There's something that everyone can do here! We will be back!

We had The Realist and The Optimist. So sweet, so fun and sooo good. The staff was friendly, helpful and fun to chat with. We even stayed for a few rounds of bowling. Thanks Mean Mugs for a great experience

Mean Mugs is inside the bowling alley now instead of Crazy Mason. Their shakes are comparable to CM. There was no line when we went. Their prices are a bit lower than CM and the new CM location by the mall uses servers. We did not like the new CM with servers and prefer Mean Mugs.

We came here on a rainy day during our trip. My dad is a big fan of the milkshake restaurant. This time we tried the mini golf. It was OK but I would rather do outside golf instead. We enjoyed the arcade. My dad had wanted to do bowling but we didn't reserve a lane in advanced so we couldn't do it. I thought the facility could've been cleaner. We saw a lot of trash and empty cups in the arcade and golf area.

My husband and I were killing time out of the sun on vacation. We decided to try this out. Putt Putt was not great, but billiards were fun. They also have a small arcade, darts, and it was trivia night. The bowling looked pretty cool also. Lots of tables and space at the bar. Thought about trying one of the huge ice cream in a mason jar creations, but we were full from dinner before. We didn't try any of the food here due to that also. I would hangout here again. Wish we had one of these back home!!!!

    Bowling alley

Such a great experience. Bowling was very affordable compared to our bowling alley back home. Very clean, and attentive staff. Mean mugs milkshake bar inside of the bowling alley is incredible. I was able to get a scoop of Dairy free ice cream for my son (oat based) & my husband and I split a shake. The staff was incredibly sweet and even took the interest of learning more about allergens (although the whipped cream said it was non-dairy, it still contained milk. I am grateful that the lady working took the time to show me the label and ask questions). This place Will absolutely be a regular on our list whenever we visit.

This is such a great idea! The atmosphere had a cool vibe! We didn't order any food but our waitress still was attentive to check to see if we had changed our mind on ordering something or to add more time for bowling. The pricing was cheap too! Honestly wish we had something like this back in NH where I live!

Came here to try the new shake place and it was good but nothing special. It was basically a pricey banana split but it was nice I could keep the mug. Crazy mason has more options

But we ALWAYS have the best time! The staff is amazing we have been checked in by a few different people and they are always so friendly (Ayla was super kind when we were last in). The food server ( Mickie speight) was super attentive too and she was pretty busy with a lot of other lanes but made it back to check on us a few times. Today we went in and the gal checking us in ( didnt get her name:( )- was so kind and trying to explain something we did not see on line. We did end up having to pay a little extra $2 extra per person per game ="special bowling experience/lanes" but it ended up being a BLAST for the kids- we may NEVER go back to "regular" lanes . The manager Casey was very personable and helpful as well. He even came around to check on all of us to make sure everyone was ok and if we needed anything. We sat at the bar to grab something quick to eat and drink, but the service was pretty slow. It looked like there were only two bartenders working, and with it being spring break plus half-off games on Wednesday, it was definitely busy. One random thing I actually loved--the bar chairs! They had real back support and were super comfortable, not your typical stiff bar stools. We ordered boneless wings and fries. I love their fries, but the wings weren't my favorite--I think it was just the sauce we chose. Also, one of my biggest pet peeves: charging extra for sauce. They wanted $0.59 for an extra blue cheese... like, come on That said, the deal we got made it worth it. It was $39.99 and included $35 in game play, so the food basically came out to $5. With half-off games, we were able to stretch that into about an hour of play, which was great. Everything seemed clean, and our bartender was very nice despite being clearly overwhelmed. Overall, a fun stop with good value--just expect slower service if it's busy.

From the moment we started towards our lane it felt like a VIP experience! Great ambiance/lighting, vinyl sofa seating (couches couches couches which one should I pick?). Shortly after seating we were welcomed by our server Mark who was exceptionally friendly and met our every need: drinks to the table, explained the score panel, even rounded up the kiddie ramp and several kids size bowling ball without us lifting a finger. From there, the bowling electronic interface was modern, fast, and simple to use. Selection of themes for screens was awesome. Lanes are traditional drop pin, very fast operation and bowling balls return right away. Smaller overall with 12 lanes but atmosphere wasn't crowded on an early afternoon Friday. We stayed for the extensive arcade which doubled the time we spent at 810. Pool and darts also looked fun and modern/well kept. At the time of writing, 4.5 stars w 2700 reviews on G maps. The location is literally on the boardwalk right next to the beach. It's a lot of fun. They have two snack places inside for food. There is parking but you do have to pay since this place is on the boardwalk at the beach. Our visit was Sunday June 25, 2023. As you walk up to the arcade. You are welcome from the door as they have "Welcome" on the glass. You open the door from the boardwalk and you just see a huge selection of old and more modern arcade games. You have the redemption area on the right with many prizes. You have so many games that you wouldn't want to leave until all your money is gone. The cool thing about this arcade that it has the traditional coins and tickets. Not the plastic cards you swipe like the modern arcade has today. Make you feel like a kid again by walking around and a bunch of tickets and show them off. So much fun! The staff was amazing, I couldn't get my dollar bill into the machine to get coins and I took it to the redemption desk and they exchange it with coins. They had a smile and made a little joke about me breaking the machine. I thought it was funny. The ladies was awesome! We didn't have any issues with the staff. They felt like they was enjoying their job. We didn't get to try any of the snacks places inside the arcade but it did look good to eat. Definitely the ice cream! The place was clean but it did look kinda old. It was really dark inside the arcade but that is how you want to be for you can see all the lights on the games that glow and shine. I feel like maybe a power cleaning will help the atmosphere of being an old arcade better but that is my opinion. The bathrooms was ok, They do need more attention on a busy day and it was kinda busy even if it was a Sunday. We did feel safe since it's in the tourist area of the boardwalk. I didn't feel like kids was running around and asking for tokens like other arcades does. It was nice feeling just enjoying games and winning prizes. Fun atmosphere indeed. This place was a charm and I really did enjoy it. It even had my favorite game in the arcade and I played that thing for almost an hour. The game is called "Pearl" I believe. I highly recommend, it's a the best way to get tickets. We highly recommend the Boardwalk Arcade. It's just so much fun all around. You might want to go on a least busy day like during the week. It does get busy on weekends. Overall 5/5
