Good food nice vibe definitely worth the visit for a first time. A good choice for a weekend night out trip, solo, date or a group setting

It was a rainy night and we wanted to do something indoors after dinner. So miniature golf and milkshakes seemed perfect. The mean mugs milkshakes were great, and tasted yummy. It took a while to get them but well worth the wait. The monster mini golf was a lot of fun with dark purple and blue lights. Some stations were challenging but we did all 18 holes. We enjoyed everything and had a fun night!

Prices were not crazy so that is good. Checkin for bowling wast fast. Our son went to order a milkshake (their big selling point) - took forever in himordering and then getting it. I heard a party next to us saying "service sucked." The bowling is really nice coaches but it's squishy to bowling. It's also a much smaller area to walk and bowling. It's also narrow due to the the ball area in the "runway." So I know this has high ratings since so many other bowling alleys are gross (and this is nice) but they skipped for bowlers.

We loved everything about this place! The bowling was super fun and the food was awesome!! The milkshake bar has to be the highlight of this place! Its so many different delicious choices to pick from. We doubled back later that evening for a game of pool, but all of the tables were occupied. It was cool we had did KARAOKE instead! It was right! Very nice bar and arcade games as well!

Midnight madness or something like that! Delicious!

Family and I are on vacation and stopped by because we have a store that sells milkshakes similar to Mean Mugs, however, this place is awesome! A couple of different things you can find here: delicious milkshakes, a huge bar, live music, indoor mini golf, arcade games, ping pong tables, billiards, and bowling! And one of the best things about this place is that it stays open until 11 (at least the milkshake place). My husband and I walked around the premises while waiting for our milkshakes to be made (takes a while since the line is long and there's a lot to the milkshakes) and we were pleasantly surprised about how awesome the place is! The milkshakes are delicious and awesome and you get to keep the glass it came in! Definitely will be back to at least play some ping pong next time we come to visit.

We absolutely enjoyed our visit! They are a little pricey but the atmosphere is great and the food is delicious! The establishment was clean, the have 2 bars, bowling, pool tables, glow in the dark putt putt and more!!! The blue cheese sliders were phenomenal! My entire family had a great time! There's something that everyone can do here! We will be back!

We had The Realist and The Optimist. So sweet, so fun and sooo good. The staff was friendly, helpful and fun to chat with. We even stayed for a few rounds of bowling. Thanks Mean Mugs for a great experience

Mean Mugs is inside the bowling alley now instead of Crazy Mason. Their shakes are comparable to CM. There was no line when we went. Their prices are a bit lower than CM and the new CM location by the mall uses servers. We did not like the new CM with servers and prefer Mean Mugs.

We came here on a rainy day during our trip. My dad is a big fan of the milkshake restaurant. This time we tried the mini golf. It was OK but I would rather do outside golf instead. We enjoyed the arcade. My dad had wanted to do bowling but we didn't reserve a lane in advanced so we couldn't do it. I thought the facility could've been cleaner. We saw a lot of trash and empty cups in the arcade and golf area.

My husband and I were killing time out of the sun on vacation. We decided to try this out. Putt Putt was not great, but billiards were fun. They also have a small arcade, darts, and it was trivia night. The bowling looked pretty cool also. Lots of tables and space at the bar. Thought about trying one of the huge ice cream in a mason jar creations, but we were full from dinner before. We didn't try any of the food here due to that also. I would hangout here again. Wish we had one of these back home!!!!

    Bowling alley

Such a great experience. Bowling was very affordable compared to our bowling alley back home. Very clean, and attentive staff. Mean mugs milkshake bar inside of the bowling alley is incredible. I was able to get a scoop of Dairy free ice cream for my son (oat based) & my husband and I split a shake. The staff was incredibly sweet and even took the interest of learning more about allergens (although the whipped cream said it was non-dairy, it still contained milk. I am grateful that the lady working took the time to show me the label and ask questions). This place Will absolutely be a regular on our list whenever we visit.

This is such a great idea! The atmosphere had a cool vibe! We didn't order any food but our waitress still was attentive to check to see if we had changed our mind on ordering something or to add more time for bowling. The pricing was cheap too! Honestly wish we had something like this back in NH where I live!

Luckily I saw a packed place on Mr. Joe White Avenue called Simply Southern Smokehouse. Place looked legit and had a full parking lot so I pulled in. There is only one way in and once you get in, the cashier is on the right with the $15 all you can eat buffet right next to it. The $15 also included all you can drink soft drinks, water and sweet tea. I paid my money and grabbed a plate and ran right up to the buffet. They start out light with vegetables and sides, working up to the main courses of fried chicken, fried fish, pulled pork, smoked chicken and some hot wings. After that, they had some mac & cheese, and then the desserts which was blueberry cobbler, peach cobbler, homemade banana pudding...and a couple of other things. I started off with some broad beans, stewed okra and tomatoes, smoked chicken and hot wings. I brought my plate and my silverware to an empty table, which was getting hard to find as the place was so packed and then went up to fetch me a glass of water to wash it down with. They serve Pepsi products and of course sweet tea but I was going to save my calories for dessert. The place was clean, well lit and the seating was well designed with booths along the wall and tables in the center... and plenty of room between the tables. Once seated I dug right in. The broad beans were excellent. Done right and full of flavor. The stewed tomatoes and okra, although cook correctly was a bit bland for my liking. The smoked chicken was excellent and I used a bit of the golden SC BBQ sauce on it...great...and homemade. The hot wings were the real deal meaty and moist with a nice kick. I finished the plate in about five minutes. Time for round two. On my second trip up, I put some collard greens, lima beans, a piece of fried chicken and a piece of fried fish on the fresh plate. As I sat down to eat, I put a bit of hot vinegar sauce on the collard greens and dug in. The collards were excellent and the homemade vinegar hot sauce gave it a bit of a kick and bite. The Lima beans were soft and loaded with flavor. I then moved on to the fried chicken, which was cooked correctly with the skin crispy and well battered and the meat moist on the inside. That said, it was bland. Given how well the beans were seasoned I was surprised. Same thing with the fish, but they had a real good house sauce for it which gave it a nice flavor and saved it, but overall both the fried chicken and the fried fish were bland. I then went up for a plate number three and realized I was not gonna be able to eat anymore mains, which was a shame since the pulled pork looked great... It will have to wait for the next time I come. I did, however leave a bit of room for dessert and I'm glad I did . The banana pudding was delicious with a full banana taste and 'Nilla wafers on top and bottom adding a bit of crunch. I only had enough room for one of the cobbler so I chose peach and it did not disappoint. Nice and warm with a sweet peach flavor and tasty crumbles. I wanted more but controlled myself. As I got up to leave, I placed five dollars on the table for the cleanup guy who was hustling and keeping the place neat and tidy. I then looked around and noticed this was a real local spot full of people from Myrtle Beach. You have families, elderly people, young people, construction workers and people from local businesses. For $15 it cannot be beat. Not only will I be back again but I plan on bringing some of my friends from up north who are going to love this place...plus I gotta try that pulled pork and Mac and cheese...if the fried chicken and fish have more seasoning, I'll up them to 5 stars.

Our server was fantastic--very attentive, bringing out our drinks super quickly and checking in just when we were ready to order. The menu has tons of wonderful options, from fresh salads to hearty sandwiches and their signature brewery-inspired dishes. Prices are a bit on the higher side for lunch, but the quality makes it completely worth it. I went with the Caesar salad topped with salmon, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly dressed--the salmon was cooked just right. My husband ordered the French dip with fries, and he raved about how juicy and tender the beef was. Portions weren't enormous, but they were more than adequate and left us satisfied without feeling stuffed. The highlight was definitely sitting outside in the spring sunshine, people-watching in the vibrant Market Common area while enjoying the relaxed vibe. The patio setup with umbrellas kept it comfortable, and the whole atmosphere felt welcoming and lively in the best way. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Myrtle Beach--great food, excellent service, and that outdoor seating on a perfect day is hard to beat!
