The guy who helped me in the beginning to take my x-rays and get me set up to remove the tooth and nerve and was causing pain. NOW ON TO STELLA!!! SHE'S THE MOST RESPECTFUL AND CARING PERSON AN OFFICE CAN HAVE. This lady never fails me. Every time I come here, she shows me some love, and it matters to me. That alone makes me come back here. The worst clinic ever. Especially Dr. Mirzoyan. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a dental clinic. First, I made my appointment online, but when I arrived, they couldn't find it. Instead of taking responsibility or apologizing, I had to reschedule and waste even more of my time. The entire staff was rude and unprofessional. No one seemed interested in helping the patient, and every interaction felt dismissive and disrespectful. Dr. Mirzoyan's attitude was the most disappointing part. He was rude, spoke to me in a disrespectful manner, and made me feel like my concerns didn't matter. I also felt that he was not being honest about the treatment I needed and was trying to push me toward a much more expensive treatment than necessary without providing a clear explanation or discussing reasonable alternatives. Instead of treating patients with respect, he came across as arrogant, impatient, and unwilling to listen. I left feeling pressured rather than cared for. I booked a new patient appointment online after seeing all the good reviews. I took time out of work to attend this appointment after receiving multiple confirmation texts. However, when I arrived to the appointment, I was informed that it didn't exist. Apparently, the office had tried to contact me to cancel, but they had only called me one time during work hours and left no message, which I assumed was a robo call. Worst dental experience of my life. Went here to get my wisdom teeth removed because my regular dentist doesn't do that and they x-rayed my teeth and told me I needed 9 fillings and a root canal which sounded a little bit absurd to me, given the fact that I had no pain in my teeth and also had gotten dental work done not even a year prior. I suspect that they just redid all of the fillings that I had as a money grab and every tooth that they touched hurt so bad that I had to go to my primary dentist to get it redone (and now I don't have Pain). They gave me a root canal that I'm not sure I even needed and as if all of that wasn't bad enough every time I would go to the office, they would make me wait 1.5-2 hours to be seen. If you plan your day around this dentist, good luck, you'll be there until closing. Safe to say after the third horrible experience, I cancelled the rest of the scheduled fillings and wisdom tooth removal (which was the only reason I went there anyway) and went running back to my regular dentist. read more

You can't make this stuff up. When they were extracting my infected tooth, the dentist and his assistants were giggling while playing the soundtrack from the sci-fi horror movie Alien. Yes, Alien. It was surreal, and in hindsight, probably the first red flag. Customer service and follow-up at this clinic are sub-par at best, and I genuinely believe the way I was treated had everything to do with the fact that I'm on Medi-Cal. After the extraction, I was scheduled to come back a week later for what I assumed was a check-up on the infection. During the procedure, I'd also requested a consultation for a possible implant, so I expected that to happen at the follow-up too. But when I showed up for the appointment, the receptionist told me I had a $1000 balance. I asked why, and she said it was a partial payment for the implant. I was confused--I hadn't even spoken to the doctor about it yet, let alone committed to a treatment plan. Plus, no one had checked if the infection had even healed. She said she'd get the doctor. Instead of bringing me into an exam room, he came out and stood behind the front counter, asking me--right there in the middle of the lobby--what my question was. His tone was arrogant and dismissive. I asked what I needed to know while standing in front of the receptionist and other patients. His responses were curt and devoid of any real care or professionalism. Still, despite the sketchy vibe, I needed the implant, so I paid the $1000 and scheduled the procedure for the following week. Fast forward to this morning--I arrive for the implant, and the receptionist hits me with another request for payment: $750 more, again upfront. At this point, I hadn't even received the implant I already paid toward. Still no follow-up on the extraction site or infection. And now they wanted payment for a crown I wouldn't receive for another three months? The receptionist looked visibly uncomfortable, like even she knew this wasn't business as usual. That's when it clicked--they were trying to squeeze as much cash from me as they could, without ever treating me like a patient, let alone a customer. Three years ago, I decided to get snap-on dentures. After the first year, they began to break. From my point of view, it seemed like the studs were placed in an area where too much pressure was applied, because the same spots kept breaking over and over. Another issue was the appearance. On one of the dentures, the teeth that were supposed to be white started turning pink. My bite was also supposed to be corrected so my teeth met properly, but over time, it went back to an underbite--the same issue I originally had. It felt like all the progress I expected was lost. After that first year, the dentures continued breaking in up to three different places every time. Whenever I returned and asked if they could reinforce them, I was told it would cost money. This was extremely frustrating because, in my personal opinion, the dentures shouldn't have been failing this often. Throughout this whole process, I was never asked whether I was satisfied or happy with the dentures. And the truth is, I'm not happy with them at all. Based on my experience, I feel deeply disappointed and let down. I'm sharing my experience so others can be aware before choosing where to get their dentures. My girlfriend came to this dentist for her wisdom teeth to be removed a couple months ago they completely fucked it up and had to remove a tooth that they said they would pay for she hasn't been back since the removal, no check ins, no recovery care. She recently called to schedule an appointment because it's been way too long she hasn't been since the wisdom teeth procedure, she was on hold for 15 minutes just for the receptionist to tell her that they don't have any of this information and hung up on her. If it were possible to put zero stars in the review, I would do it. At first, everything was fine, our whole family went to this clinic. Then everything changed dramatically. First, the reception staff changed, you make an appointment for a certain time (plan your day, ask for time off from work), and they will see you in the best case in an hour or two, or they will even reschedule the appointment. The last straw for my patience was that I paid a large amount for a new crown for the implant (250 dollars more than they had previously stated), they told me that everything would be ready in two or three weeks maximum, then they scheduled the appointment more than a month later. In the end, when I came to install the crown, they said that it was not ready and I had to wait another two or three weeks. Don't waste your time, look for a good clinic, I will never set foot here again!!! read more

I just want to start off by saying I wish I could give them a negative 5 star. I had a very disappointing experience during my recent visit to Yeghisheh Mirzoyan's office. Unfortunately, the treatment I received was far from satisfactory. Despite being injected multiple times for pain relief, the discomfort during the procedure was still significant. The dentist did not complete the treatment they had started, leaving me feeling frustrated and in unnecessary pain. Not only physically but mentally. What was most concerning was the lack of clear communication and proper care throughout the process. I expected a higher level of professionalism and patient consideration, especially during such a delicate procedure. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in both patient care and communication within the practice. I complained but they told me to go somewhere else. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! They have a system that send thousands of text messages asking you to confirm the appointment, all so you can show up at the exact time and date of your appointment just to tell you that its not today, mind you they know you have an appointment and know that you made it on time but they change the appointment to their own benefit knowing the have a room full of walk-ins. never coming back again even though I gave them more than 3 chances to make up for their sucky service. also if your coming in for a cleaning it only takes them 5-10 minutes or less.... they also talk crap about their patients. read more

The process was taking too long and so we asked if there was any way to expedite it. We were told no. We were told they could not put my father's needs before others. We asked how much will it take to get it expedite. All of a sudden it was possible. They answered $800 cash. They had me drive to the atm to bring them the cash. I have them $760 with the cash discount. This money was simply to expedite the process. And nothing else. Last week my father passed away. We have since been trying to reach the doctor at this office and we haven't been able to get anywhere. The office manager is rude. She didn't want to listen to anything we had to say. I went in yesterday and I had such a great experience! I will be going back here to see the caring staff and Dr.Nguyen! I have had so many poor experiences with dental care. From being up sold to having painful procedures done more than once because it wasn't done correctly the first time. I am not even nervous about going back to get my filling fixed next week!! They were all so awesome about my severe anxiety. I usually cry and shake the whole time.... yeah, it's BAD. This was completely different. I felt like they listened to what makes me anxious and took steps to prevent it from getting worse than it Was going to be no matter what. Someone took down my previous review. Let me summarize: I was a cash-paying client before losing my job. I received excellent treatment from Dr. Mirzoyan himself. In early 2023, I decided to return for a treatment plan, but it turned out to be a disaster. A Persian doctor, possibly a student from Armenia, messed up my smile and left three teeth open without filler. They scheduled a follow-up for June 19th, but last minute closed the doors without notifying patients. Feeling neglected, I couldn't get timely treatment, and one staff member even insulted me assuming I was Russian. I was so offended that I decided to move on. This place isn't worth it. Dr. Mirzoyan should focus on improving his staff's loyalty to his business, as he's too talented to let his life's work suffer like this. read more

The staff is always kind, responsive and ready to help with any question, as well as adjust to our free time to visit their clinic. In January 2023, I became pregnant, and throughout the pregnancy, as for the examination and treatment of the oral cavity, I was observed by them. I had terrible toxicosis for almost all 9 months of pregnancy, but despite this, visiting the clinic was always easy and relaxed for me thanks to the professionalism of the doctors and staff. I visited this dental office in severe pain and in tears. I went in and let them know what I thought I had because I had been experiencing all of the symptoms of TMJ. I was completely ignored given x-rays and told that I needed a root canal. They referred me to another debti for a second opinion on my root canal and still ignoring my complaints of TMJ. When I went to the dentist they referred me to I found out they didn't even take my insurance and I had to pay $116.00 for the visit. I was still in so much pain so I just paid. This dentist told me my tooth was fine that 818 dental said I needed a root canal on. But I thought they had to be wrong. They did not address my TMJ either. So I went back to 818 dental because the dentist they referred me to said they could open up the tooth to take me out of pain so I could go back to work. i made my appointment thinking they would at least get me out of pain. Upon arriving at my appointment when I checked in I was informed that there was nothing they could do for me without my insurance approval that they said would take 3 weeks. I called myself and let them know it was a emergency and they expedited my case. 818 dental told me they referred me out not expecting me to come back. I couldn't believe it. They said they were prescribing me antibiotics that would help my pain and never contacted my pharmacy. They basically got paid for taking X-rays and misdiagnosing me. The crazz thing was I told them exactly what I had. I was completely ignored and left in excruciating pain and agony. This dental office was arrogant and rude. It was a proven fact that they are lacking experience in their field. I would not recommend this dental office if you are on your last leg in pain and need a honest opinion. They do not care about the patient and what the true issue is. They just want the money. Luckily I found Dr. Lavo and he diagnosed me immediately and massaged my jaw and my pain diminished to nothing. I'm definitely staying with him for the remainder of my dental work. Front desk charged me for the treatment before I did anything or received any service, then some new guy without any qualifications did the treatment. After he was done I asked him if that it, because it was literally 5 minutes treatment from unqualified worker so imagine how poor service I received. When I asked if he doesn't need to do more, he called the doctor that said I need a deep cleaning from professional which it isn't true, I do tooth cleaning every 6 months.
