I had a highly disappointing and concerning experience at this dental office. Right away, I noticed the dental equipment smelled unclean, which made me very uncomfortable. Worse, the dentist completely ignored my original concerns and actually worked on the wrong teeth! The dentist told me she was going to three extra fillings. Original problem was not addressed. Because I was injected with numbing medication, I couldn't feel the mistake while it was happening. Now, a week later, my original problem is still completely unresolved, and I am in extra pain from the unnecessary work they did. They created more problems instead of fixing the one I came in for. I found this office online, called and scheduled an appointment. The front staff were very respectful and helped me with the appointment and answered my questions. The day of the appointment, I got there in time, I waited less than 5 minutes until I was seen. The assistant took x-rays, explained what she was doing and got through the x-rays quickly. Dr Parsa came in, introduced himself and went over the treatment. He was very thorough, and made me feel comfortable. I got cleaning, whitening and Invisalign here, and I was very happy with the services. Prices are very reasonable for the quality they provide. read more

The front desk staff are rude, I'm talking dmv rude. The reason they have all these "five star" reviews is because they give out Starbucks cards for them. I used to come to this dental office until I realized their scams, they poorly fix you up, send you on your way; and then when you have to come back? You're paying out of pocket. This location is beautifully located right next to homeless encampments so watch out when you leave your car parked! I recommend going to EISNER DENTAL they took care of me and my mouth and I haven't had a problem since. I'm begging you not to get scammed by these fraudulent "dentists" who probably should have retired in the 50s. read more

Definitely time for a new office. I have been coming to this office for over 20+ yrs. Staff definitely has no care for business for new owner. My previous appt required me to get X-rays. They just wanted me out. Never was I asked if I could wait or would like to get it done another time. I was flat out told next time. I should have had another appt this month, but I was given the appt in January without even being asked in September if I was ok with paying my copay. I guess they just assume I can't afford it. Today I receive a call that my son has to be rescheduled. Understaffed or overbooked, not sure. I mentioned my son is away in college, if they could fit him in. Simple answer, no. Not even told if someone cancels we can call. It was a flat no. I did respond, "well I guess it's time to look for a new dental office". I was very kindly told, ok you can go somewhere else. Didn't even get to meet the new owner, just have dealt with the ladies in the office. read more

Very sad to see this business go south, I had been coming here since I was 14 with the previous doctor and really wanted to stay with the new doctor and I was really open to it after hearing a lot of negative reviews but now I understand he always seems over booked and/or understaffed. I've waited before but today was a little too extreme, my appointment was at 10am, I arrived at 10:00am due to parking situation (another driver blocking) I was as not able to get around the lot I didn't get in the building until 10:04. Was taken in to the back room at 10:47am and I had to let them know I had another appointment at 11:30am at which point the assistant said it would be better to reschedule because it was 10:55 and the doctor would not be seeing me soon and this was after the doctor had already rescheduled me from mid November to mid December. I got a cleaning in September and it was also very busy and not the greatest experience the hygienist did not take more than 13 minutes completing the cleaning. Very sad to say I'm not returning because I've been coming here for 24 years. :( read more

I am sad that Dr. Farkas business sadly had come to and end. He was an amazing Dr and loved all his patients. And did an amazing job. Unfortunately for this new Dr. he clearly does not care about his patients. I scheduled appointments for me and my entire family today since it's been over 6 months. 30 minutes I got a call back from them saying they needed to cancel our appointments because something came up and they couldn't see us. And they would call us back to schedule. Seems to me like they no longer want us as patients probably because we have medical. I will be calling medical and making sure they know what kind of dentist this is. I do not recommend this place at all. Please find a caring de that and go elsewhere. I am so grateful I was referred to this office. Dr. Lee is incredible, very gentle hand very attentive to me and asking if I had pain and numbing me If it did still hurt. I was in between insurances at the time and the prices were more than reasonable for all the procedures I needed. They also worked with me to help figure out what best course of action would be for me. I didn't wait that long and all the staff was very pleasant sweet and kind. I liked the hygienists and Dr Farkus. I thought all were very competent. Plus, you don't feel like you're being upsold or milked for the most expensive dental procedures. Being up to date and the dental technology that I saw was average IMO. However, the deep teeth cleaning was lacking. He told me that he would try his best but that there was a possibility that the tooth would break off and he might have to refer me to an oral surgeon. I love this Dentistry! The front office assistant Julie and her team are amazing! Julie was able to fit me in for a same day appointment and thankfully received the treatment I needed. Dr. Farkas is very sweet and has a soft hand when it comes down to do any fillings or cleanings. I love how they discuss with you their financial plans if you have insurance or no insurance, or how much each treatment will cost you before doing it. I would recommend every patient to estimate an extra half an hour into their appointment if they need to go back to work. They are able to talk to her and make her do what she needs to do to get her check ups done. Dr. Farkas is the best dentist I've ever been to. I grew up in the area and would visit his office regularly as a child for cleanings and what not. Back in 2010 I went to a different dentist for the first time in my life and the dentist tried telling me I had two cavities. These were the first cavities I had ever gotten in my short 13 years of life, and my mother didn't believe it. She took me back to my childhood dentist, Dr. Farkas, and he said there were no cavities. Ever since this happened my mom never trusted another dentist. My sister takes her kids here when she feels skeptical of another dentist's recommendations, because we know he is an honest man. We love this practice, and we will be sad when Dr. Farkas retires! Yikes!! Stay away from this place!! This dentist is a DINOSAUR and is clearly in his final years. As soon as you walk in, it feels like you stepped through a timewarp back to the 70's. Everything looks insanely old and antique-like (not just the furniture in the waiting room but the actual equipment and chairs). I went in for a cleaning and x-rays and his methods are completely out-dated. The dental hygienist is also an absolute B*tch and she better hope she never sees me outside their building. She purposely made the experience painful just to teach me a lesson in good dental hygiene. When it comes to medical and dental care, it is crucial to find a professional that is familiar with the latest advances in medical/dental care and especially technology. 5 years ago I visited another dentist (who eventually left CA) and her methods were completely different. She had more advanced equipment for taking x-rays which was completely painless. Farkas still uses the old-school methods of x-ray torture. GO ELSEWHERE!! Farkas is a very nice guy but it's obvious he's just waiting to retire. read more
