    House oysters.

Wish I could give half stars because this was a 4.5 star experience. Only open for a few weeks but truly impressed. It was crazy busy which meant some delays but it was worth it. The inside is filled with a fun environment and many TVs making it the perfect spot to watch football. We started with some of the unique cocktails, I had the Bloody Mary which had a sweet hint to it. However let's get to the menu there is truly something for everyone. There were so many options it was tough to decide. We started with the house oysters (from james river) which were perfect to start. The shrimp and grits were mouth watering goodness. I love a good S&G so this hit the spot with a creole gravy. The fish and chips were so great and their steak fries are phenomenal and crispy. Only a 4.5 because I feel like there is still room for this place to grow but also can't wait to come back and try more!

My daughter wanted to go to Brinks Tavern for her birthday. The atmosphere was great! We loved all the screens with different types of sports playing, and the music that was playing was awesome!! I ordered the million dollar bacon with deviled eggs. The bacon was good, but eggs lacked seasoning. I also ordered the platter with chicken strips, shrimp, French Fries, and hushpuppies, and all of it was delicious, especially the fries. Our server was very attentive and accommodating. The only negative is the food and their alcoholic drinks are way over priced!

Not a bad place by any means, the inside is nice. 3 Stars is being generous. 2 1/2 maybe. The food is a little fancier than the establishment itself. The brick wall between the front door and the bar is pretty cool, makes for a nice barrier. This was my second visit. Probably my last. A little on the pricey side. I can't get behind a $25 burger. Or a $7 Blue Moon (bottle), when a six pack is only $10 in the store. I mean, they already have Brinkley's Chop House for the rich people, they could make this one a smidge more affordable for the average person. $50 for two people for lunch is a bit ridiculous. A little disappointing. It's definitely not a place to go sit at the bar and watch a game... You'll go broke! Roast Beef Po Boy was good, but the bread was extremely hard. I had a couple bites and waited to eat the rest at home so I could put it in the micro to soften the bread. I had the Chef's Platter second visit, hush puppies had really good flavor, but a little undercooked. Although that dish came with shrimp, I was charged extra for cocktail sauce. That's crazy. The service was OK, a little slow when you're waiting to pay your bill. That's a little frustrating when you're ready to go. Overall, I'd go somewhere else.

If you don't have a reservation be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes. We sat at the bar which was perfect for 2. The drinks are absolutely amazing. We alway at the bar and the bartender was absolutely amazing. He knew exactly what I should order. We placed our orders and watched all of the great TVs in the establishment. It's a great place to watch the games and the serves and hostesses are fabulous. It's a little loud but that's to be expected. The dress is casual. The food came out quickly and was still hot. The crab hush puppies were absolutely amazing and the jumbo shrimp were seasoned to perfection. I will come again.

Servers are attentive, food comes out fast and fresh and the outdoor seating has nice views.

We sat outside. There were fans to assist with the South Carolina heat. TVs in case you wanted to catch a game with friends. And corn hole in case you needed something to do while waiting on your food! We enjoyed the food overall. Fries were thick (usually a thin fry girl, myself) but still pleasant! I LOVE cornbread and I'd happily put on 20 lbs for a good one, but this one made me lose some weight. Not my favorite iteration of the southern classic. Gritty and lacking that usual flavor. Shrimp and sauce on the sammy were good but there was too! Much! Bread! As for my catch all meal -- chicken tenders and shrimp were a delight. Hush puppies: not too shabby. We'd come back again!

Went during lunch and service was fast! The ambiance was very nice. Leather seats were fancy. The food was very good!

I came here after seeing they're pretty new, for gameday, and hearing mixed reviews. I asked to be sat by the big screen to watch the game, but like any tavern they have tvs all over and outside. They also have outdoor seating, which is a plus, but also be aware of the very limited parking spots. You might want to park a bit further and walk here. We were sat immediately, ordered drinks, and for food we got the single crab cake with collared greens and the endito poutine (seafood loaded fries rather than actual poutine). Prices are a bit high, but it is a seafood tavern. I liked the flavors of the food, so I do highly recommend something off the menu that's seafood. Their sandwiches also do look good! Service is good, and will take care of you if you decide to stay for an entire game. The vibes are pretty chill, but a lot of people do come here to watch the game so think of it as a chill watch party (unless you come at night maybe...?). Overall, I'd recommend!!!!

1LB crab legs. The garlic butter sauce was amazing.

Took my mom out to eat on a Thursday. Service was great. We enjoyed our food. The lighting is a little dim but light on your phone helps.

If you're looking for a place in North Augusta to question your life choices over bacon from a paper clip and sassy cocktails, Brinks Tavern is it. Walked in for dinner with the girls (just three of us this time, so only slightly less chaos) and left with a new appreciation for good service, strong drinks, and the subtle art of Gypsey Dining. Not sure what that evens means but apparently there are gypsy sightings this side of town. Mallory, our waitress, deserves a medal. She handled our table like it was an Olympic sport, even as we loudly debated the existence or "lack of" soulmates over boudin balls. Five stars just for her patience. Kristen (with an EN) was everywhere at once. I'm convinced she's cloned herself. Need a refill? Kristen. More ranch? Kristen. Existential advice? Kristen, probably. The drinks were so good that even the one made wrong was still amazing. I have no idea what it was supposed to be, but it tasted like "yes, I will have another." Honestly, I'd trust these bartenders to mix my coffee in the morning. Especially the darked hair handsome male: back to referencing the lack of a soulmate and too many cocktails The vibe is "classy tavern meets your favorite college bar, but with less regret and way more repsonsibilty." The food came out hot, the staff treated us like queens, and nobody judged us (at least that I could see) Highly recommend for your next girls' night, awkward first date, or solo mission to drink something neon.

It was quaint but small in size. I loved the art work and various attributes this restaurant had to offer. For food/drink: I decided on the drink "Sorry Ms Jackson". For food I ended up going with Crab Cakes and Jambalaya. I gave 4 stars because the day I went, they were out of everything I really wanted to try: Return of the Mac N Cheese, Land and Sea and Red Snapper. It is located in downtown Augusta , so you're gonna be coming in contact with a bunch of traffic going to and from locations. Luckily for me, I went ahead and put my order through DoorDash, and I was able to get it.No problem, it's really the parking you gotta be concerned about. When I got there, there was hardly anyone there, so I was able to get my order and quickly leave before it got busy again. The food I ordered was amazing. The chicken and Red Velvet Waffles with cream cheese frosting were totally incredible. But I really enjoyed the cake trio. Of the three I bought, I loved the Tiramisu and Red Velvet, but the Lemon one wasn't as good. But that's the reason I'd like to try the dishes first before recommending family and friends to try. I made you not forget the ambiance here. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful compared to how the rest of downtown is. Overall I would recommend this restaurant. If you haven't tried it at least try it once. Just be sure to visit when it's not so packed so that way you can get a great table.

I had a few options, but ultimately landed on Gervais and Vine and made a reservation. On the recommendation of our server, we started with a bottle of In Sheep's Clothing and got to ordering. I had already scoured the menu before coming in so I was pretty sure I knew what I wanted. I love that it's smaller portions so you can order different dishes and try a bunch all at once. We started with the baked brie which I think had an apricot spread plus some fruit and bread. Then we did the petit filet mignon, pork with gorgonzola cream sauce, spicy shrimp gambas, and the seared jumbo scallops. This may sound like too much for two people and you would be right but it was so delicious. I highly recommend everything we had. If I had to choose some standouts, the shrimp were phenomenal and I'm still thinking about them. The biggest surprise was the pork. It was a good size portion in comparison and the cream sauce was so good. Honestly, if you followed this order to a T or any variation of it, you can't go wrong. We weren't rushed in any way so in lieu of dessert we took our time finishing that bottle of wine. While there were some other menu items that jumped out at me, I would absolutely come back and order the exact same thing again. This was one of my favorite meals this year.
