They had lots of room on the back patio with a picnic tables. We sat down and we got a couple of beers and we started with some chicken wings and some chili fries. so wings were great and the chili was a little too bean forward for me, but the boys liked it. I just love Texas style meat chilis. Food was really great. My husband and I got what I would call fancy burgers with you know extra toppings like blue cheese or barbecue sauce and he can't exactly remember which ones we got but my brother was more simple kind of Smashburger. Basically their basic cheeseburger, and that was the favorite of the three to be honest sometimes simple is better.

We took the burritos to-go, and they were still nice and warm during the short drive home. Overall, the burrito was solid, and the green salsa complemented it really well. If I'm in the area again and craving a breakfast burrito, I definitely know where I'll be stopping by.

A must-visit if you're in San Diego!…read more We saw this place recommended on TikTok for brunch and decided to give it a try. We ordered the beignets, Matcha Latte Tiramisu, Curry Hamburger, and the U.S. Fried Rice. Everything we ordered was delicious, but the standout was definitely the beignets! We loved that they were made fresh to order, and the matcha and sesame dipping sauces made them even better. Our server was very friendly and checked in on us throughout our meal to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for the great service! The restaurant also has plenty of tables, making it a great spot for both small and larger groups. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in San Diego for brunch! P.S. We came on a Monday around 1 p.m.

We only had to wait 30 minutes to be seated which was a lot better than 2 hours. Little did we know, it would take a whole hour for us to get our food. We honestly could've waited the 2 hours for Morning Glory and gotten our food at the same time if not earlier. The restaurant wasn't packed with customers but they were definitely short staffed or something because there were two couples sitting next to us who were also waiting for their food. One couple was ready to leave when their food came out at that exact moment. The servers did apologize and told us that they were having issues with the kitchen. They also offered us all free orange juice. However, if they knew they were having issues with the kitchen then they should've told us earlier before we got seated so people could go elsewhere rather than waiting an hour for their food. Overall, service here was very poor. In terms of food, it was unfortunately pretty good but not worth the wait. I really liked the simple toast with matcha cream on top as well as the curry hamburg. My friend ordered the shakshuka (not pictured because it came last and everyone just wanted to eat at that point) which was also pretty good. For the avocado toast, the toast was too hard so I wouldn't recommend it. We also ordered a yuzu and matcha yuzu mimosa. Both tasted like yuzu. The matcha yuzu one was basically a green yuzu mimosa. They have a vero water purification system so their water was really good lol.

Delicious, surprisingly light on the stomach, in the textures and flavors have that homemade vibe…read more I got the chicken pot pie and the apple pie slice. The lady at the counter said that a lot of people say the apple pie slice is better than Julian's apple pie. I think that if it were as fresh as the Julian one, I would agree but because the slice tasted like it have been sitting there for at least six hours, maybe even overnight, I would just say that it's a really good slice of apple pie. It has a crumb topping, which is a nice addition which the Juliann apple pie does not have. The filling is chunky and very brown sugar-y which makes it very delicious. The ice cream was also good. The chicken pot pie was my favorite though. So warm, and the crust was nice and flaky. The portion is really good. That was my dinner and it was the perfect amount. The inside had a generous amount of chicken which I really appreciated overall. It's such a comforting food and I love that. It doesn't taste like it's 1,000,000 cal. It was $13 for the pot pie, which is a little much but considering that it's pretty big and filling as a meal I wouldn't say that it's toooo bad.

I decided to get the steak and ale and their special of the month Butter Chicken pie. I also could not resist the Salted Carmel Crumble pie cream. I ate the steak and ale at the location. I thought it was ok. The crust was amazing but I felt the flavor was lacking a little. I had a few chunks of meat. Didn't really taste the Ale and it was a little dry for my liking. Now the Butter Chicken pie was amazing. I think they should keep that one on the menu. I reheated it in the air fryer. The curry flavor really comes through and of course their crust is like no other. My highlight was that salted carmel crumble apple lice ice cream combo. Of course the vanilla ice cream is from next door Stella Jeans. Oh this dessert is sinful and I highly recommend.

Come for the Matzo, Stay for the Eye Candy (and the Sweet Chef!)…read more So, I took my grandma out for dinner because she had a massive craving for matzo ball soup. We ordered, but a few minutes later, our waiter came out looking like he had to deliver bad news. He apologized and said the chef refused to serve the current batch because it "wasn't up to his standards." Before we could even process being denied our soup, the chef himself walked out to our table. First of all? The man is dangerously handsome. Second of all? He was incredibly sweet. He politely offered us tomato soup instead, but then saw the heartbreak in my grandma's eyes. He told us, "Look, if you really want the matzo ball soup and can give me 15 minutes, I will go to the back and whip up a brand new, fresh batch just for your grandma." Naturally, we waited. Since he knew we were sharing, this absolute legend threw an extra matzo ball into the bowl so we could each have two. Talk about elite customer service! It really made us realize how much the people here care about the quality of their food. They won't serve you subpar dishes just to flip a table. My grandma was on cloud nine. She officially declared it the absolute best matzo ball soup she has ever had in her life (sorry, family recipe, you've been replaced by a handsome chef).

They have indoor and outdoor seating by the pool. It was a hot day so we sat inside and it was also much quieter inside There were not too many other customers while we were there, and I have to say the only downside is the service is really slow and you have to flag down the staff repeatedly even to get your water refilled. Basically once you order, they don't check back in on you much. However, I have zero notes about the food taste, and quality. We shared a patty melt sandwich and ordered an extra set of onion rings. The onion rings were absolutely perfect. They came out hot and crispy without too much better and with the perfect ratio of onion taste. The patty melt was also perfect and really enjoyed the pickle on the side. The dish came with a house made ranch, which was not too thick and very fresh and herbal tasting. I loved it. I also ordered a latte and while the latte foam wasn't the most beautiful thing I have seen, it was very well-made and tasty. The uniforms and the table where all are custom-made for the hotel and diner. The style was very cool. I would totally return anytime. I am back in town
