The food was pretty good. I really appreciated the fried eggplant option since I love fried eggplant. Love when a place puts effort into their vegetarian options. Though, I did see on the menu that their fries are cooked in beef tallow. I'm curious if they use a different oil for the eggplant? If not, that'd be disappointing. Do wish the sliders were a bit bigger though, especially for the price! In the advertised pictures they look bigger. If the sliders were a little bigger I probably would have given 5 stars. The waitresses were very friendly and helpful. Had a good experience over all. Also, it's a nice location with a good view.

Sliders were yummy! The buns were soft and the beef was delicious. I didn't love the Nashville hot chicken but I think it's because the duck fat left a distinct aftertaste I wasn't fond of (but I realize that's personal preference). Note: parking was difficult! The service was very nice but not super fast. The waiter was amazingggg replacing my moms fries when she realized hers had blue cheese and she doesn't like blue cheese lol ‍

Been wanting to try this place for a few years but parking was always the problem. Went on a Monday, found a parking spot! My husband and I split the two sliders combo- we got the Rosiemac burger and the little munchies chicken sandwich. Also a side of Elote fries. You guys.... It was to die for good! Quite literally the best burger I've had in a very long time. And a chicken sandwich I am still craving more of. Our 7 year old daughter got the kids burger slider and she said "momma it's not good. It's Amazing"!. That means a lot coming from a kid. We highly recommend Rosemarie's and we will definitely be back!

Wow the staff really makes you feel welcome! They were totally great and helped us with ordering and sang along with their great music that was playing. Who doesn't love some JT? Just get their Rosiemac and you will be so happy. It was delicious. My husband said it was the best slider he has ever had. Get a spot on the patio and have a great time people watching and eating great food with a delicious beer.

Just to give some background, we came to San Diego for a food tour, and Rosemarie's was one of the stops on our list and I'm SO glad it was! This is literally a MUST TRY if you're in San Diego. Our group ended up trying about half the menu, and EVERYTHING was SOOOOO good! Maddie and Sol were also so sweet and welcoming. The customer service was amazing, and you could tell they genuinely cared. My personal favorites were the RosieMac sliders, the Brussels sprouts and the chili fries! The elote fries were also really good, especially if you like a little jalapeño kick. 10/10 experience all around. Definitely adding Rosemary's to my San Diego food spots!

This place is amazing! The food is better than the delicious looking advertising suggests. The sliders are fantastic! The atmosphere is awesome. The service is amazing. Huge shout out to the hardest worker, Sol, who helped serve us. She has one of the brightest smiles, the greatest attitude, and makes you want to keep coming back. This place is definitely 5-stars and above! Couldn't have been happier with our experience! I'm not from San Diego, but I'm definitely going out of my way to make it back here every visit. This is a must try destination in San Diego, Mission Beach, and in Southern California! Rosemarie's for the win!

I'm not quite sure what all the hype is about. The food was good, but there wasn't really a wow factor that would have me rushing back. I originally placed a pickup order, but ended up grabbing a seat on the balcony and ordering a beer while I ate. I ordered: * The Award-Winning Rosiemac: this slider was very well executed. The meat had that smash burger-style crust and was packed with flavor. The bun was thick and held everything together nicely. * The Little Sal: another solid slider. I really enjoyed the sauce on top, which added a lot of flavor. * French Fries: the seasoning was phenomenal. The fries themselves could have been crispier, though. I ended up taking the leftovers home and throwing them in the air fryer. The staff were friendly, especially toward the dogs. They don't offer dog treats or a dog menu, but they are dog-friendly, which is always appreciated. Service was a bit underwhelming. When I asked about happy hour, I was directed to a party pack special that included four sliders, chicken tenders, and fries or onion rings (I believe) for around $60, which didn't seem like much of a deal. I was also told they have happy hour pricing on beer, but when I asked what the discount was, I was simply pointed back to the sign and told happy hour on beers without much explanation. After that, no one really came around to check on us. Overall, it's a convenient spot, but parking can be difficult. The food was good, the restaurant is dog-friendly, and the staff were pleasant enough. However, between the prices, the lackluster service, and the absence of any real standout dishes, I didn't find it lived up to the hype.

Rosemarie's Buns & Brews is in a class of its own! Voted the best sliders in San Diego- and for good reason! These little masterpieces are packed with tons of flavor! For starters, we ordered the spicy elote fries! They were fire! We love Mexican street corn, but this was next level! The charred corn and chipotle aioli, topped with pickled peppers and cotija cheese, on a bed of crispy fries offered a unique and delicious blend of flavors. My wife ordered The Classic and Little Sal. I ordered the Rosiemac and Little Munchies sliders. The patties were cooked to medium (just the way we like it), and the onion rings were meaty and extra crispy! Overall, service was great, and the vibe was chill and relaxed. Parking is a doozy! But that's to be expected due to it being located on a busy street!

Was so excited to try these burgers since I've heard nothing but good things. Made my way all the way there in mission beach, struggled to fund parking on a Sunday evening around 6:45 pm. We walked in and asked stood at the counter for a minute before any of the employees acknowledged us, then the girl at the register turned around and with a big smile on her face said "we're out of burgers tonight." We looked at her for a moment because we thought she was joking and then she said "yeah sorry". We thought she was joking because of the way she said it smiling but she was serious.. so then her tone was kind of rude.. it was uncomfortable the way we just stood there with the menus.. We sat down and skimmed the menu but decided we wanted burgers.. so we decided to leave. I think running out is a great sign for business but the way interaction and delivery of this bad news was uncomfortable and a bit contradicting.. I wouldn't go through the trouble of coming out here fighting for parking and trying again if especially if I'm risking them running out of burgers..

Rosemarie's Buns & Brews may be small and cute, but wow--what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in flavor and service. The place was busy when we arrived, so we grabbed seats on their little patio, which ended up being perfect. The service was friendly and welcoming from start to finish. I ordered the eggplant sliders, my husband got the Little Munchies and the Rosiemac sliders, and we shared the spicy elote fries. OMG--those fries were heaven. So, so, so good. Everything came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Zero complaints across the board. Highly recommend, and we would 100% return the next time we're in town!

A small spot with a lot of personality! The space is a bit tight and parking can be a bit of a hassle, so some planning and luck may be needed. The Rosiemac was my favorite slider. Rich, a little greasy, and exactly what you need when you're craving something indulgent. That said, it does feel a bit pricey for a slider. I've also tried some of the chicken sliders and the chili cheese fries, which were both solid and satisfying. Service is solid too and gets the job done.

This is a must. Super friendly staff, help us with recommendations since it was our first time. We chose 2 sliders ( classic and a Cajun chicken) each and added blue cheese and regular fries. Everything was so good. We will definitely be back.

We stopped in for a mid day snack! I had the eggplant sliders and when I tell you, how savory this was! I did not regret not getting a burger, and I love burgers. The cabbage inside was such a nice touch! We also had the Big Ol Tasty Fries. Plenty to share! We sat at the outside patio and it's fun to people watch and enjoy the beach energy. The service was great, everyone was sweet and made great recommendations!

My friends tried chai bowls, fresh fruit, banana bread, breakfast burritos, and other pastries if not enjoying the (delicious!!!) turkey sandwich. I did find myself wishing there were fresh juice options. A fresh OJ or green juice would have hit the spot and I couldn't find plain fresh squeezed I the area. I'm just extremely disappointed with how poor my experience was today because I had only super positive experiences previously and was looking forward to dining there this morning after sometime away, but holy hell ....today's experience has been so profoundly bad. Firstly, my husband ordered two breakfast burritos - one with bacon and the other with bacon on the side. I'll chalk this one up to miscommunication, but they put bacon in one, and bacon in the other too - and then added bacon on the side to the other and charged us $5.50 for the extra bacon. Again, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here and will be sure to communicate explicitly next time. They kindly made me a new one, but the new one had potatoes that weren't cooked thoroughly (likely to rush the food to me, so I acknowledge the difficulty here), however there was hardly any avocado. I literally had to complain again because I didn't believe there was any avocado at all. I wouldn't be as pissed if this weren't an EIGHTEEN DOLLAR breakfast burrito. Lastly, the coffee lids don't fit on the cups. We tried to put one on and ended up spilling the entire coffee. I chalked this up to an accident on our part, however another patron who observed our incident said "their lids don't fit the cup, right??" And I was like "oh so it wasn't just us??" And she was like "no, I almost spilled mine all over too." This random patron encouraged us to ask for a new cup of coffee as a result (thanks, random patron!). The Molly's team did kindly make us a new (albeit quite bitter) drink, which I appreciate. However, the lid was still an issue - it would spill out of the cup all over the rim between the cup and the lid when I'd try to take a sip, so I took off the lid entirely, but then was stuck with dealing with spills while walking around - I had to move at a snail's pace to prevent spills altogether. This was easier to deal with random leakage around the entire cup every time I'd sip with the lid on. Ultimately It was just a lose-lose with the ill fitting lid situation. All this to say - Molly's Team, yall were fantastic just a month ago. What happened? I understand food and services in the beach area stuff are often expensive and rarely good, but you guys are *too* expensive for this poor of service and quality. Two stars because at least the folks there are generally nice.

At the time we came in there weren't many people, but a crowd started gathering after about 30 minutes or so, which was nice! Our food came out - with a decent amount of wait time - and it looked great! We ordered a couple of cocktails from the menu as well, which we got right away. I had gotten something similar to an Espresso Martini, but the drink fell short in both the taste and the presentation. My beer battered fish tacos were good, but nothing extraordinary. I believed they lacked a bit of taste...perhaps seasoning? The jam burger on the other hand, extremely juicy and flavorful! The fries were nice and crispy & seasoned. Overall, the food and drink were a bit inconsistent, but it may also very well be the items I ordered. For that, I'm docking it one star, but again it may come down to my taste buds and previous items I've had from other grills. I'd definitely give it a try, again, and keep exploring their menu.

Thanks to Will, Calvin, Noah, and Joe, our family had one of the best nights we've had in years. We can't wait to come back and highly recommend The Hideaway to anyone looking for an incredible dining and nightlife experience!

Captain's Quarters in Pacific Beach is one of the coolest joints we've come across in a while. The…read morecommitment to their nautical theme is unmatched alongside every detail that makes this such a unique and fun experience. It's a speakeasy that shares a hidden entrance next to the Grass Skirt which is also an amazing experience but a tiki theme. The cocktail menu is as creative as the design. I had a wonderful scotch recipe called "My Way or the Islay."(sorry I didn't take a photo). It's a fun riff of a classic Penicillin. You can see in the video and photos they spared no attention to detail. The massive octopus on the ceiling is one of the first things you notice when you walk in. It's wild because you can imagine Jack Sparrow bellied up at the bar. I highly recommend this place so next time you are in PB check them out. Salute @thejohnnycocktail

We brought a friend from out of town to enjoy this place, which they did! We are all currently sober so we got all their mocktails which was a good little variety! We got the Planet Hollywood, Amalfi Spritz, Ka Wai Olada, and a mocktail of our servers choosing (and he knocked it out of the park!). We also got the crispy cauliflower, ham and cheese bites, and mozzerella arancini. Everything came out beautiful and delicious! I'll run through everything. Planet Hollywood: absolutely stunning! Delicious and bright, everyone's favorite Amalfi Spritz: definitely need to be an aperol fan but overall beautiful drink Ka Wai Olada: tropical and refreshing Bartneders Choice: cucumber mint drink was AMAZING and exactly what is needed after a hot day, it should be on the menu!! Crispy cauliflower: everyone's favorite! So flavorful and crispy and the yogurt goes with it so well. Mozzarella arancini: delicious Ham and cheese bites: a little too small, kind of dry, but good flavors. Probably won't get again. Also HUGE shout out to our server who was absolutely phenomenal and made the entire experience amazing. We love sober options in a bar! I'm sorry your name is slipping my mind. But you made the experience! Will continue to frequent!

My husband and I went to dinner with a friend on a Sunday evening. First, the good, it wasn't…read moreparticularly busy, the staff was friendly, and it was a cute restaurant. They apparently have happy hour all day on Sundays. I tried the peach mocktail and it was very yummy, so I appreciated the $5 off. For dinner, I ordered the branzino (the one on the menu and not the special). I was told while the one on the normal menu was $47, the special was $55 and the only difference between the two was the special would be lit on fire table side. I didn't feel the flames were necessary, so I skipped that. (However, the special did mention a sauce that I'm not sure was actually on the regular one, so I don't actually know.) A few minutes before the food came out, they asked if we wanted it all together or if it would be ok for my husband and our friends food to come out first since they were still finishing my fish. I said to just bring it out when it was ready, however they ended up bringing it out together anyway. The confusing part though, all of our meals weren't served warm? You'd think if they were waiting on mine to be done it would have been at least warm? It wasn't. The branzio was very plainly seasoned, tasted heavily of oil and was also somewhat dry? I got it with the whipped sweet potatoes, which was very creamy, which was unlike any way I've ever had sweet potatoes before, but they didn't taste particularly good? We each tried them and none of us could figure out what it was like, but we all agreed we didn't enjoy them. My husband got the arrecherea, it was fine, but also cold. The fries it came with was probably the best part, they were crispy even while being cold. Our friend got the stuffed Mediterranean Stuffed Pepper, his meal also wasn't warm, and he said some of the rice wasn't cooked all the way and it was hard. We also got the Puccia Bread & Spreads after seeing positive reviews. I normally love feta cheese, but the feta dip was kind of sweet? Same with the eggplant. The only spread that was good was the butter. Personally, I thought the bread was fine? But it was almost a bit doughy. Overall, we weren't very impressed with the meal. It had a lot of potential, but the food just didn't hit the mark.

Absolutely phenomenal. I've been in San Diego all week and have eaten at several restaurants, and…read morethis was by far the best meal I've had. The seafood was incredibly fresh and perfectly seasoned. I actually stumbled upon this place by accident after I first stopped at Ms. B's Coco Shop down the block, but they had closed their kitchen a little earlier than I expected. Shaq recommended I give this place a try and even walked me over to introduce me to Ben. Ben gave outstanding seafood recommendations, was incredibly friendly, and knew the menu inside and out. I was already leaning toward what I ordered, and he reassured me I was making a great choice. His knowledge of the menu and genuine hospitality made the experience even better. The lobster and shrimp roll was hands down the best I've had in years. The mahi slider was just as impressive--perfectly seasoned, lightly breaded, and fried to perfection without the excessive batter that so many places use. Every bite let the fresh fish shine through. The atmosphere was exactly what you'd want from a beach bar--laid-back, welcoming, and fun. It felt like the kind of place where you could spend the day at the beach, walk over for a drink and some amazing food, and just relax. The entertainment setup was impressive too, with huge TVs and a really cool in-wall fireplace-style display. I can only imagine this place is the spot to be on game day. Overall, this is now at the top of my list whenever I'm craving seafood in San Diego. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

In addition to classic margaritas, Guava Beach also has a variety of unique margaritas! I ordered the Pink Dragon made with Nosotros Reposado, Triple Sec, dragon fruit syrup, Guava Beach's own custom-made margarita mix with a black lava salt rim and topped with a dragon fruit wheel garnish - sooo good! They also have an extensive cocktail list. We got some appetizers, including the waffle fries (massive portions) and chips and guacamole, which were both delicious! Definitely will be back to try more margs soon!
