I got the famous rosiemac burger double patty and it was very delicious however I think the cheese may have overpowered it and I think next time I would choose one without the cheese completely. Onion rings were ok. Nothing to rave about honestly. The seasoning on it made them seem nicer but I think it just took away from a good ol fashioned onion rings, they also added a seasoning to the ranch to pair with the onion ring and I wasn't a huge fan. Next time I definitely want to try a different burger and opt for the elote fries or no fries at all. I'm just happy to finally be able to cross this place off my list of must tries, lol. A small spot with a lot of personality! The space is a bit tight and parking can be a bit of a hassle, so some planning and luck may be needed. The Rosiemac was my favorite slider. I originally placed a pickup order, but ended up grabbing a seat on the balcony and ordering a beer while I ate. I ordered: * The Award-Winning Rosiemac: this slider was very well executed. I was also told they have happy hour pricing on beer, but when I asked what the discount was, I was simply pointed back to the sign and told happy hour on beers without much explanation. Was so excited to try these burgers since I've heard nothing but good things. Made my way all the way there in mission beach, struggled to fund parking on a Sunday evening around 6:45 pm. We walked in and asked stood at the counter for a minute before any of the employees acknowledged us, then the girl at the register turned around and with a big smile on her face said "we're out of burgers tonight." We looked at her for a moment because we thought she was joking and then she said "yeah sorry". We thought she was joking because of the way she said it smiling but she was serious.. so then her tone was kind of rude.. it was uncomfortable the way we just stood there with the menus.. I understand the hype. These sliders are big. The original double thing will fill you up like a double quarter pounder with cheese. Patties here are so so so greasy. The meat however is pretty good quality. They taste like they were boiled in beef tallow then seared. They're missing some of that crisp isp to me. Rosemaries lends itself to the surrounding neighborhoods culture. Post surf post beer come grab a rich Lucious burger. Family wise though. Good lord this is for little chieftains only. They sort of messed up our order putting club sauce on everything (which we parents loved) they gave us 2 too many sliders and grease just slid everywhere down our arms and faces. Do not take these to the beach or eat them in your car unless you have a rinse kit after every bite. Totally get the vibe. This place is for 20 year olds. Rosemaries will light you up. There was an exterior dining area off the sidewalk that is narrow and separate from the exterior/interior of the restaurant. Perfect for the dogs! This place is funny. I called my order in (2 double sliders) and asked to add vegetables. Like the typical tomato, lettuce, onion that you'd find on a burger. All they had was arugula, lol. So I added it because why not. I like a bit of green in my burgers. So this is not the kind of burger place with customization (or vegetables, really) in mind. The Little Sal may be my favorite burger that I have tried in San Diego. I loved the bacon whiskey sauce ; it gave it a sweet taste and the meat was perfectly cooked. I got in no mayo and with the bacon whisky sauce and onions you don't need the mayo. I also tried the Nashville Hot Chicken and I just didn't love it. Maybe it was because it just couldn't compare to the burger or maybe it just had a bit too much breading for me but I will stick to the burgers. The restaurant is small with maybe 10 tables and some counter space but I had no issue finding a spot to sit on a Sunday at 1pm.
