Finally got around to trying Lou's deli, and I must admit.. I'm impressed! I'd heard about the chicken ceaser wrap from tiktok and instagram. The wrap itself was massive and contained lots of crispy chicken. I ordered an extra side of dressing, but it really wasn't necessary. The wrap itself wasn't dry at all, and the kale added a nice crunch. I'd definitely return in the future and check out more of the menu.

Came here for the wrap hype, left disappointed. Chicken Caesar Wrap: Ehhh For $17 dollars, it was quite unremarkable. Texture of the chicken and the salad didn't last long. We got it to go and after 10 minutes it was felt soggy already. The sauces and flavors of the entire wrap were kind of lackluster and just tasted like leaves. It didn't seem that busy but also took like 20 minutes to come out which was interesting. But they share a seating space with the bar next door so it's kinda nice to sit on the patio on a nice day. Food: 5/10 Service: 7/10 Atmosphere: 7/10 Value: 5/10

The chicken Cesar salad wrap is so good! The cashier was so helpful because she asked if we were dining in or doing take out. It's a great location and across the street is Saigon Coffee!

Lou's deli located on Lincoln across from Saigon coffee. Stopped in to grabbed some to go food before our boots in the park concert. We ordered the Italian and a tuna club to go, as it's all to go unless you're ordering from the bar next door. We took the sandwiches back to our hotel and feasted on them in the room. Both sandwiches were full of meat and full of flavor. The Italian was so juicy and wet it literally made a giant mess in your hands. However, that's said, it was an absolutely epic sandwich full of flavors and worth the price and worth the wait. The turkey club was also super tasty and full of meat and flavors. Delicious through and through. We ate half and then half the next day. It was just as good the second day as the first. You can't go wrong getting a sandwich from Lou's, that's a promise.

Caesar wrap with grilled chicken no kale ALLL DAY. So delicious, huge portion, and really kind staff. It can get busy so I recommend ordering ahead online before picking it up! I crave this all the time

I tried the "VIRAL" Chicken Caesar Wrap. Flavor was good- love that there's banana peppers in the wrap. The wrap came with complimentary dill pickle popcorn. HOWEVER, Looks can be deceiving. Half of the wrap showed chicken but when you bite into it, there was NONE. Only added chicken in the center where it's sliced in half. I didn't know I ordered just a kale wrap for $17. You can see how much of the wrap was just kale. My partner had the chopped cheese sandwich/hoagie with a side of tater tots and it was pretty good. I had to take some of his protein to add to my no protein wrap so it didn't seem like a waste. To compare, Better Blendz is a 5 minute walk from here, it's more affordable and you can taste every bite filled with flavor and comes with a lot of chicken at Better Blendz. Service was whatever. Server didn't check up on us even though we sat in a location where she always had to pass by. For this to be viral, knowing that many pay to try this wrap, it should be consistent. I noticed other photos on here and other social media apps have larger chicken portion. I don't think I'll give them a 2nd try.

**3.5 stars** Lou's is home to the viral Kale Caesar Wrap! I am admittedly deep in my Chicken Caesar Wrap phase and just haddd to make my way down to Lou's to see what all the hype was about. I got their Kale Caesar Wrap with crispy chicken (you can opt for grilled) and a margarita (they have quite a funny sign about day drinking). I'm sorry to say that I found their Kale Caesar Wrap just alright. While it's a great size and I loved the crispy chicken, I think it could've used a smidge more dressing. I know that it's called a kale wrap, but my jaw can only take chewing only kale for so long.... and it was a big wrap... I LOVED the margarita! They give it to you in an inconspicuous kiddy sippy cup with cartoon animals on it. How utterly cute! I'm obsessed with this concept! Oh! Also! If you're a pickle fanatic, each order comes with a complimentary bag of pickle flavored popcorn. A really nice surprise! Beware, though, she's saltyyy.

I picked up the "Philly Style Roast Pork on a soft hoagie roll for $15.99 plus tax. The sandwich came with roasted pork and broccoli rabe with Provolone cheese, and a side of pork au jus in a small container. They also give you a small bag of freshly popped popcorn with your sandwich, which is kind of cool. The sandwich came with a good amount of the roasted pork. It had good flavor and was nicely seasoned, however, it was on the borderline of being dry; hence, the reason why they probably serve it with a side of au jus. I do recommend they place the pork on the hot griddle, squirt a little water on it, then place the provolone on the meat. and proceed to cover it with a lid to melt the cheese properly and ensure the meat stays juicy, but that is just me. Also, don't hold back on Provolone because the cheese on this particular sandwich was hardly noticeable. It was barely melted and contained a single level across the sandwich. The au jus was good, but overly salty. I had to use it sparingly or else the salt level would overwhelm the sandwich. The broccoli rabe was good but some of the pieces were over cooked and did not provide that good bite. The service was very good. Everyone was very nice. The young lady who taking order had a very positive personality.

Not sure what's with so many bad reviews. Easily should be over 4 stars. Chicken vodka parm with pesto was delicious. As a jersey boy I was excited to see a chopped cheese so had to get that as well. So good. Both meats were tender and juicy. Great bread which is underrated importance in a sandwich. Vodka sauce and special sauce on both were really tasty

I'm freaking out this was so good!!! Super cute deli with friendly staff, you can order drinks and eat inside or happy medium and still order from the deli which is perfect!! Chicken parm sub was incredibleeeee and my husband loved his chicken Caesar wrap and already ready to come back for their tuna salad sandwhich. Also the popcorn they give you in the side was such a whimsical surprise and it had a good seasoning on it

Went here while my friends were in town and I loved how we could sit next door at Happy Medium and order from there! I got the Lou's Italian sub and it was huge!!! I didn't order the fries but got the pickle popcorn and it was delicious. I ate half and saved the other for later and it taste even better! My bf tried the chopped cheese that taste like a burger on a bread! Will definitely be coming back!

    WALDORF CHICKEN WRAP
    Cirwan S.

Definitely coming back here. Had amazing food the first experience. Me and my buddy shared 3 sandwiches. We started things with chicken Parmesan and it was phenomenal. I love pastrami so much. I got the Siberian train wreck, it was my favorite! My buddy wanted to get something on the lighter side for our 3rd sandwich. We got the chicken waldorf sandwich. It had grapes and Fiji apples ! Each order comes with pickled popcorn. Next time I come I want their slushee cocktails ! Plenty of place to sit !

As you can see lol I obviously ordered a salad

Prices do not match their website. Their famous chicken ceasar wrap has about 3 small pieces of chicken in it. We had to take it apart just to make more chicken and turn it into a salad at home... it's made out of kale. It's not all bad, their turkey club is something you can make right in your kitchen! The 2 stars are for the fries Why is a wrap $20 lol

What really keeps me coming back are the seasonal transformations. They go all out with the decorations, and during Christmas the entire restaurant feels completely transformed. It's one of the best holiday dining experiences in San Diego. The seasonal touches don't stop at the décor either. I like that they regularly introduce limited-time food and cocktail specials, so there's usually something new to try while still keeping some of their popular favorites on the menu. Everything I've ordered over multiple visits has been well prepared, and I haven't had a bad meal yet. It's definitely on the pricier side, so I see it more as a place for celebrations, date nights, or when you want a unique dining experience rather than an everyday meal. Between the food, drinks, and the incredible decorations, it feels worth it for those occasions. One piece of advice: make a reservation. This place is popular, especially during the holidays and other seasonal events, and tables fill up quickly.

We happened upon this place for happy hour, which is a great deal. The old fashioned was really good and they have a decent wine list, both at great prices. The popcorn chicken was also really good...but the Brussels sprouts are worth coming for alone. The service was great and there is plenty of bar seating. August 2026. Very disappointed and underwhelmed…read more The food was ok. Steak and fries good. The chicken was very dry - even the dark meat. The bigger issue was the service. I don't think it ever works to have multiple people serve the table. There's no continuity and stuff gets forgotten. We had multiple orders not logged and therefore not delivered. We ordered both the Brussels and the ahi crackers for appetizers. The Brussels came 5 minutes later. Perfect timing. But the ahi never showed. I don't think it was until we mentioned it. It had really been a long time so we asked to cancel. But they lets us know the entrees were delayed and told us they'd comp the ahi. All right, whatever, we had them. They were still on the bill but I didn't say anything. Also midway through I asked for a second beer but it never came. I wanted the Mexican lager and the server even asked if I wanted a line. But I think this order directly preceded the discussion about the ahi so it must have been forgotten. My final gripe: I really don't like places that bring entrees staggered, or when they're ready. The steak came and the chicken followed about 5 minutes later. We're a party of 2. It's not like a 6 top and the poor server needs to make 2 trips. All in all this place isn't really for us so we won't be coming back anytime soon.
