Coming from working with locksmiths regularly back in Portland, this locksmith took 3 hours to pick a lock my normal guy would have taken 30 minutes to do. Without having an inventory for his van, he re-pins a lock cylinder to a used key he had found at the bottom of a toolbox. It was a wonder that the whole thing worked. But after writing down a key code to duplicate the key, I found the code he had written down was wrong. An attempt to get back the $25 I spent resulted in a exhausting circular conversation, ending in him calling me a dumbass. Don't know about you, but is this how good businesses behave? Oh. He's probably going to respond, changing the entire narrative of the story. Buyer beware.

FYI, I read some of the reviews complaining about the lack of bedside manner and this is my feedback. If you are looking for someone to chat to you about your day and give you the warm and fuzzies, the Lock Doctor is not your guy (he is retired military and reminded me of the saltier Navy Chiefs I used to work with when I was in the Navy which I like).
