He analyzed my request and made recommendations based on my wants and needs. I finalized my order with Chris over the phone and I was booked for an appointment right away. Update: I have spoken to several other shops and everyone recommends a cmc for under 3 inch lift. Also I understand the diff grinding could be needle bearings and not related to the lift. Finding these shortcomings had me start researching everything and I noticed my new control arms had red grease put in by the shop. I spoke to JBA who makes the control arms and they said that's completely wrong it should have the grey lithium grease that was made clear in the instructions. Using red grease will damage the control arms significantly. I had my alignment done by an off road shop that knows off road vehicles and the alignment is good. read more

Ken, First off you sound very arrogant trying to disregard everything I said. My review is not "misinformation". In fact, I was told by your employee that the alignment would be in spec without upper control arms. But you are correct, I did opt to save money but that was only based off what information I was given by your business. As far as the lean goes, I would expect that since 88 rotors works on so many Toyota's I would have been informed either before or after the lift was installed that spacers may be required to have the vehicle sit level. If it was mentioned after install I would have paid the extra and had the spacers installed before I left your shop. I didn't "reach out" because I already gave you the opportunity to work on the vehicle and I wasn't going to drive 2 hours to your shop again for you to correct the problem. read more

Well that sucked I drove 3 1/2 hours he told me if I came in around 1 o'clock they would have me done within an hour I came at 12:30 we talked logistics I went out to lunch and came back at 2:30 expecting my truck to be done it was still in the parking lot and hadn't even been started. I wasn't expecting to take care of this today in the first place but when chris quoted me an hour I decided to go for it or that turned out about the worst possible scenario as I am stuck in LA traffic now and where is there for two hours and they hadn't even taken it out of the parking lot.
