Amazingly Delicious!! This brewery is the best in the MPLS metro. Their beer is outstanding. The Current Obsession IPA is literally Award Winning and my favorite IPA on the planet. Just try it and you will agree. There is a friendly vibe as soon as you walk in the door. Service is as great and the atmosphere is welcoming. Try the pizza, it never disappoints!! If you're looking for a snack the homemade hummus and pita is outstanding. Bottom line, just go here and check it out, you will be back.

I recently visited nine mile brewing for the first time! It's is a great local spot with fun atmosphere and a great variety of beers, seltzers, and other cold beverages. It's a great place to relax with friends and grab food from their newly opened kitchen. Highly recommend stopping by! They have bingo on Thursday night! I sat outside and was able to bring my dog with me. No dogs allowed inside.

The taproom has such a lively atmosphere to it. I came here with a friend on a Wednesday evening and the space was packed even though there wasn't an event at the time (there was trivia but not until an hour later). I could tell the patrons enjoyed gathering together for board games, conversations, or just a space to wind down after work. The staff were so engaging and made sure we felt welcome. This space also has a kitchen on site with plenty of good selection. We went with the pita and hummus this time and it tasted fantastic. This is a great venue if you're wanting to gather with groups of friends and parking was such a breeze! Definitely would go back again. I want to note that dogs are not allowed inside the facility due to the kitchen, but they are welcome at the outdoor patio

9 Mile Brewing is a great local brewery. The service was so friendly, and they even have seltzer options. Vibe is classic brewery with games, plenty of TVs and great food.

I like this place. It's pretty chill and I really like how the outdoor patio is growing in with the trees. I'm not sure if their suds are being distributed to local shops, but you can get things to go. As you can see, I tend to come here in the cooler months and I enjoy their darker beers. This evening I'm enjoying a rye porter and the English mild. Both low octane beers that were really well balanced. The reason for the minus star is the cost of a pint is between $6-$8 and that's a me thing when you are getting the beer straight from the teat. I'm an old Flat Earth and Rush River guy and even with the costs of everything, I'm a $5 pint guy. Hell, I still drink swill (Old Style for $3) at my local dive bar. But honestly, this space is great. There are darts, games, the beer is well made and it feels like they dumped a lot of money into the space. Added benefit? No TV's so when you come with friends or solo, you have to socialize which is awesome and is what a pub should be. They also serve slushies, seltzers, and soda from Northern Soda Company. Popcorn and pretzels are offered as snacks and I'm gonna guess they get food trucks hanging out too. You'll have to follow their socials for those details.

This brewery is large with plenty of seating and a big parking lot. They allow dogs and have many different activities such as bingo and trivia. They have a lot of board games available for use and also have dart boards. This brewery feels cozy despite being large. I appreciate that they have many NA options. Food choices are limited- they have cookies, popcorn and pretzels. Sometimes they have a foos truck though. Service is fast.

If you're looking for a fun brewery with plenty of room to spread out, this is your place. Enjoyed the diverse sampling of their brews - all different types available (IPA, Kolsch, Hefeweizen, Wit, etc). The food is excellent as well. Can't recommend highly enough! (Really close to Mall of America)

Nice brewery, lot of space, knowledgeable staff, nice selection of delicious craft beers. They have a pretty nice patio area to enjoy when the weather's nice. If you are in the area, stop in for a beer or two.

Enjoyed an evening of trying beers here. Couldn't make up my mind at first, so tried the Margarita Slushie, which was great. Had seen a dark beer with coconut online, but didn't see it on the menu right away. Went back up to get a flight and finally found the Dark beer with coconut and almond that I was looking for. Flights are a great way to try a few different things without having to get lit off of 4 or 5 beers. They appear to have a food truck rotation, at least on weekends, as they only sell popcorn and pretzels. Note when you get to the address, go along to the backside of the complex.

9Mile is...an exceptional brewery. The staff have always knowledgable and kind....as I try to make chit chat about the current taps. The beer is always delicious. I like that the tap room is so spread out...w different seating styles throughout. Lots of big windows are a great asset too. The 9 Mile location is great too, I'll go in for a pint when they open at 2:00 so I can sneak in before the after work rush. Thanks 9 Mile for all the great beers and wonderful beer chats, cheers!

9 Mile has become a quick favorite with their nice selection of beers and rotating food truck. It's spacious, but almost always packed. The side room closes a little earlier than the main area so they can clean it up, so just make note before you get too settled in. There's also a nice patio with some heaters. Parking is plentiful. Staff has been so friendly and is happy to make a recommendation if you're having a hard time deciding. Nice vibe here. Dog friendly.

Huge, warm, and inviting space with plenty of lounge style seating as well as high top tables, and about seating for 8-10 at the bar. The first brewery in Bloomington and newest to MN, they have hit the ground running with 6 exceptional beers! My favorites were the: Parallels Pale Ale Schifdtbier Light Lager

As for the coffee, I tried the carrot cake latte as per baristas recommendation and was really good! I got a 12 oz with an extra shot because I like my coffee flavor strong and it was perfect. The espresso has a bit of that bitter taste so if that's not what you like this probably isn't the coffee for you. My only reason for 4 stars is the price. My coffee was 8.92 with no tip so I paid $10 for a 2 shot drink today. I hope that once they have been running the coffee part for a while that the price can come down at least a dollar. Most extra shots are about 75 cents to 1 dollar at other coffee shops whereas it's 1.25 here. Will be back to try other specialty items!

I loved the cheese curds, mac and cheese and the hushpuppies were also standouts. I opted for the brisket bowl, which I enjoyed...the pickles were also delicious. We decided to eat at Northbound for dinner on a bustling Independence Day Eve at 7PM. Walking up to…read morethe restaurant, it seemed like there would be a small wait, but luckily for us, a table just opened up as we walked through the doors. Even with how busy the place was, I didn't find the service to be too slow. The food took about 10 minutes to come out. Cheese Curds ($12.50) - Interesting curds. They're covered and fried in a leavened waffle batter, which gives a more airy type of crisp on the outside. It's more robust than normal cheese curd batter, but has that lighter and softer waffle crunch. The texture inside is right in between being soft and gooey but has enough firmness for a slight squeaky behavior. I actually don't prefer this texture - I massively prefer one extreme or the other, either completely squeaky, or completely softened and melted. The curds are all separated with some mini batter nubs spread around for extra crunch. The curds comes with a ranch dip that has fresh herbs in buttermilk and for some reason reminds me of thousand island in taste. (4/5) 18-hr Porketta ($17.50) + Fries Upgrade (+$2.50) - This is a very simple sandwich with Northbound's famous 18 hour porketta, some Swiss cheese melted on top, and finally some softened sliced onion in a brioche bun. The porketta is essentially pulled pork and is lean with basically no fat. It's seasoned well with a good fennel and spiced aroma The flavors are quite pronounced and while the pork is relatively tender for the cut, some fat would do some major justice. The fries are mediocre. They are clearly hand cut and fried in house, but they are a little underfried since the interiors are firm rather than fluffy and they are floppy in texture. Meh. The porketta comes with a sauce that's fruity, tangy, and acidic. It's surprisingly great for the cheese curds since the curds are so heavy and fatty. (4/5) Overall I found the food at Northbound to be good enough but nothing particularly outstanding. I certainly don't think it was worth the 45 minute round trip drive. but I wouldn't mind eating there again if I happened to be in the area in the future. I didn't see any N/A options besides water which is a bummer but I could have missed that. I believe they also had cider and some wine as well. To start you go up and receive a card that is attached to your tab. You then scan that card before pouring yourself a glass or tasting from the beer well and it automatically adds the pricing for the ounces you poured to your tab. The brewery itself is really spacious! Multiple levels, each with a different vibe which I love. When we were there there was live music on the top level and the lowest level was giving chill speakeasy vibes. They also have food options which is nice. We ordered the cookies with milk and they were warm and gooey but took quite a bit of time to come out. Definitely a place worth checking out!

But the food is average to meh. Likewise with the service. For $35 entrees and $20 cocktails, I expect better. A small example: if your menu is going to offer "frites" with bearnaise instead of plain old "French fries," it might be a good idea to actually serve them with a side of bearnaise rather than plain old ketchup, which came with our meals (even if the ketchup comes in a little ramekin rather than a bottle). In other ways, as well, our meal didn't walk the talk that the menu suggested. It felt overpriced for dishes where lots of salt and fat seemed to take the place of truly complex, well-harmonized flavors. Service: at the time I made our reservation, I referenced that my party would be celebrating a family birthday. There was no acknowledgment of this by the restaurant's staff at any time during our visit. Even little things like this matter. After being seated, no one poured water for our group. Appears that this is a "self serve" thing; if you're thirsty, pour your own water. We waited at least 10 minutes for our server after being seated. After our meal was served, our server did not come back to check in until it was time to ask if we were ready for dessert. We decided to skip dessert. We probably won't be coming back anytime soon.
