One of my favorite happy hour places to go after work! They have some excellent deals during the week, this visit being on taco Tuesday. You can order up at the bar when getting a drink or scan a QR code at your table to order and they bring it right out! Pretty convenient ordering with a large group or by yourself. Place has plenty of room to sit at a booth, table, high top, couches, you name it, they have a spot to chill. Great for any size group you bring and the delicious food and great drinks make this place a no brainer! Also they have a ton of unique in house sauces to get with anything. Headed to Fat Pants for an arts class to learn how to paint a Mandela on a stone. Arrived early to enjoy their delish beer and had the great burger special. The bartender was amazing and was so quick to make suggestions for beer and food. It is such a comfortable place with cozy tables and chairs, couches, fireplaces and many seats at the bar. We were able to bring our drinks in the class-which was help in a private room-and we enjoyed painting and sipping. Def recommend this fun brewery! read more

I had only been to Fat Pants once and today I decided to check out their food. Of course, I ordered the Reuben, with tots on the side. :D The Reuben was huge, the corned beef tender and flavorful. I was impressed that the sauerkraut had been heated on the grill, with a delicious caramelization to boot! Lovely, gooey cheese, beautiful marble rye, and plenty of sauce made this a delightful meal. The tater tots were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I wasn't as thrilled with the Elote dip as I found it kind of heavy and rather bland. The chips were incredibly thin and crispy and an absolute home run. Bottom line, this was a hit and I recommend giving them a try! read more

I love getting together with friends at fat pants! It's been a tradition of ours for awhile. Today, we visited and had one of our not so pleasant experiences. The male bartender asked for my friends order, then as she was speaking... just walked away not listening anymore. Then screamed from across the bar how he's busy and that's why... overall was just an odd experience- one which we havent had before. Other than that, we enjoyed the scurds, always a great staple! And we had the nachos, which arent really worth it, but get the job done. I could compare them to something you'd probably make at home! I was sad to see how many chips had nothing on them, and I wish they were layered. For beer, I had the AMAZING pumpkin beer, highly recommend. My friends got the sour, also amazing. Wonderful brewery with plenty of options! Met a friend down here and was amazed at the food options, of course the beer as well. I had the fatty patty and it was solid!! Had an event to attend in the area amd a co-worker suggested Fat Pants for lunch. Its in a sort of industrial area, so if you think you're in the wrong place, you're probably not. The interior made me think I was stepping into a metal concert, but with a coffeeshop vibe. Found a place on the comfy couches. I love chicken sandwiches, so I decided that's what I was going for. I got it with a bourbon BBQ glaze and a side of veg and hummus. Love places that have some healthier/different options besides chips or fries for sandwiches. This place is awesome! We walked in an hour before bingo started, and it was pretty quiet. We only had an hour, but by the time we were ready to leave, the place was packed! We got a big round table and played cards with our kiddos while we had a few beers. We ordered some tater tots (yum!), and then one of the staff members brought over free popcorn and slushies for the kids, which totally made their day. Even with a large event taking place I was able to find a parking spot and a table for six. I ordered the agave seltzer and it was delicious. I also ordered wings and fries. The wings were a big portion that could be shared with another. The fries weren't anything overly special. At the time I couldn't find the WiFi information and didn't have cell service to order from my phone. If you order from your phone or the counter they will bring you the food. The Buffalo Chicken Dip is the perfect dip, it is cheesy with just a little spice and comes in a cup big enough to share with multiple people. The totachos are good but as a nacho lover I would get the nachos every time! The nachos are by far easier to eat with your hands too. I recommend the pork and chicken on top of these. If you are ever in the southern burbs check out Fat Pants in Eden Prairie! I've been here a few times now. We've sat inside at a booth with pillows and had a grande time. This past visit we sat out on the patio on a humid summer eve after some rain showers passed through and saw a rainbow! I enjoyed a hard slushie with actual spirits in it. Perfect for summer and a nice way to include more friends who might not love beer. My friend enjoyed the Cream-Sota ale. It had been awhile since I had been here last and was impressed with all of the food choices too! It was a nice mix of young people, families, and us middle aged ladies. No servers you go up to the bar to order, but that worked out pretty well. Definitely need to keep this on my list when I'm in the area. read more

This brewery has a lot of options between brews, THC drinks, and food. We stopped here after shopping at Scheels - very close by. Cubed cheese curds are my new favorite. Excellent quality and not greasy. The Buffalo chicken dip is very good and we got that during happy hour. I believe HH is from 3pm-6pm during the week. Select appetizers are a few bucks off. The nachos were good and had a decent amount of toppings. There is a bar in one room and a food truck in the other room. You serve yourself and they give you buzzers when the food is done. Ordered chips guac at food court, an obnoxious older woman took order. Kept talking and talking and said she was on the EP city council and percent of sales go to the city of Eden prairie, wanted a big tip. She added a big tip, I complained, she says I have no choice the computer made add tip. $11+tax charge.. She added another $90.34+ dollar transaction posted to my credit card. One of the items that was unique was the in-house food truck (see picture) - food is ordered and served from what looks like a food truck inside the restaurant. There was a reasonable selection of in-house craft tap beers, so I opted for a flight (see picture) so that I could taste several. The area at the bar where you order and pick up your beer was a bit crowded and in a dead-end hallway, so you have to fight the crowd to get back out. We had a very pleasant stop here when passing through Eden Prairie for the first time. The place is larger than it looks from the outside, with several spacious rooms set around the bar and kitchen. It wasn't crowded or loud on a Saturday afternoon, which we appreciated. My husband ordered using the QR code at our table; the drinks came out in about two minutes, and the giant pretzel was about 10 minutes after that, so perfectly reasonable waits. Everything was tasty, too. I kept looking at their food menu on the screen about the bar and thinking that the salads and some other appetizers sounded good. Finally stopped in on Monday, at open, so I was the only one there and chat up the the beertender....sorry. I liked the tap list, not overwhelming but not restricting. I opted for the Cream Sota and the Bad Attitude sour. Both beers were delicious. I liked the tap room; it was spacious and comfortable. The only snafu of my experience....and it's an odd one.... I used the rest room and I don't know if it was too big toilet paper rolls... or? I could only get a scrap of tp when I pulled on the roll!! The roll wouldn't spin, so I literally had a wad of scraps of tp in my frustrated hand! In desperation I looked around... there was a partial roll on top of the handicap bar to save the day!! My bad: I did not read the full menu entry at Fat Pants. Had I done so, I'd've seen that the ingredient list ends with "balsamic glaze drizzle." So when I got a pizza covered with ropes of balsamic nastiness, I took it to the food truck, and was told "nope, that's our Margherita." I tasted it. Sickeningly sweet. Awful. Completely overpowered any other tastes present. I like pizza and I'm an adventurous eater but dear God noooooo. I strongly recommend that the staff warn people "you did see the balsamic glaze part, right?" to prevent others from suffering my fate. Yes, I paid for it. No, I won't make that mistake again. Do not order the Margherita at Fat Pants unless you like sweet balsamic glaze. DO order the Space Monkey. read more

Went in for Oktoberfest after scouring for places to go. We ended up with bingo. It was quite the let down compared to what was listed, but, at least there were brats & beer. We came in excited & soon found ourselves as confused as I believe this establishment is about the direction it wants to go as a brew pub. Allow me to elaborate: again, came in for Oktoberfest, there were a few hanging decorations, & brats on the menu... a stretch, at best [advertised pumpkin painting, cornhole, pie baking contests, mini donut eating contests & stein challenge - all great for people watching]. Add a decent selection of craft beer, both standard bar food & some unique menu items, Prince murals painted, bingo calling, retro music playing, buffalo plaid cozy fireplace nooks, industrial design throughout & on the fly karaoke... you get something that feels forced in nearly every possible direction. The brats were cool in the center when they came out, tots were tasty, squrds were a fun take on cheese curds & piping hot, beer was good & priced fairly at $5/10oz & $7/16oz. I'm also sitting on 2 pending CC charges, for 2 different amounts. Neither are the actual amount I spent, nor do they add up to the right amount. I'll keep an eye on that, see where it goes, & edit this review accordingly, as they are just pending. All in all, I didnt experience anything as a non-regular that would draw me back in. read more

Chose to go here on a whim one night, had always wanted to try the place. Im sorry to say we were underwhelmed. The concept is odd and confusing.. we sat out front and were asked multiple times by people how to order a drink, where to get food and if there was actually a patio (which we didn't figure out there was until we left). My friend tried a beer and I tried the blue raspberry cider. She said her beer was ok and my cider was super watered down tasting. The food was also mediocre. We tried the cheese curds, she got a burger and I got the sliders. All very forgettable. There seems to be bingo that happens here which people seemed to be excited about as the crowd picked up at that point, but that meant super long lines to get a drink or food. Fun that they allow dogs on their patio, but with so many other places to go that offer that, I will probably not be back. read more

We really loved everything here. We took a long time reading the rotating food menu and the bartender was extremely patient. We ordered our beer a OH!+ Blood Orange IPA and a Bad Attitude which was a pomegranate sour. We loved them. My sour was more like a cider with a sweeter flavor which I loved. My husband said the blood orange was the best he ever had and he will try that flavor whenever he sees it. We went to the food truck and ordered. It took a minute for someone to come by but they were so friendly and efficient. My husband ordered a Margarita pizza and I got a pineapple Caesar salad with root vegetables. We also got fried pickle spears. The food was delicious and really pretty. When my husband got back from the bathroom he mentioned it was exceptionally clean. They have a really cute selection of merchandise too. They have a large variety of seating inside and out. Dogs are welcome on the patio and there were quite a few kids there when we were. Live music, decent food, and a good beer selection. We showed up at around 6:30 on a Saturday and snagged the last available table way in the back. Beer is ordered from the bar which was really quick. The food was a different story. I believe they are supposed to text you when food is ready. For some reason we never got a text. After a long wait and pretty much everyone around us with food on the table we went up to ask. Then they brought our food out right away. The wings must have been under a light and still warm but the beef on the taco salad was cold like it had been waiting around. Overall the food was good. The Buffalo sauce was kind of a tangy glaze as opposed to your normal sloppy Buffalo sauce. I'm don't like beer but I did try the pom sour, and key lime sour. I liked the Pom sour the best. We actually came for the live music, which was awesome. Even though we were at the furtherest table in the beginning of the night we could still hear just fine. My wife and I were out for our weekly new restaurant trip, this time it was to Eden Prairie. Not far from the house. We sat out on the patio and I ordered their flagship IPA and a Reuben. The Reuben was perfectly cooked, with good corned beef and I got vegetables and hummus on the side. The IPA was super solid. The Reuben wasn't too greasy and the vegetables were fresh and crispy. The hummus could have used a little more spice, but it was good. My wife had a little pizza with no cheese and basil. The sauce was way too sweet, but the crust was really good. If they threw in some crushed red pepper, delicioso! I had the mango IPA to finish off the meal, and it was awesome. Great Saturday lunch! In short, food and venue are a 5, beer is a 3, but it might be a bit higher if you're not as interested in IPAs as I am. I stopped by on a drippy afternoon for a late lunch after a workout. There were only 2-3 other people in the room, so I setup my laptop and went to work, sipping on a mediocre IPA while waiting for my lunch. And what a lunch...a truly delicious Gyro worth every bit of the $15 price. It was so good, and large, that I ate more than I should have. Definitely check it out. The Jucyfication NEIPA maxed out at 4/5, but the Space Monkey was a disappointing 3.5 imho. I'll be back with wifey to check out more of the menu and see if there's a beer that better suits my taste. read more

Woman related by marriage took me here with her parents on a week night(Monday)... Ignore the fact I sound like an alcoholic. Lots of beer choices to choose from... I picked the Irish Red. Food was excellent considering this is a beer place... Gluten free pizza crust was excellent (only come on 12" size). Regular large is 16". Square pieces cut - easy to share. Beef nachos were decent.
