First I want to speak on her salon and her as a stylist -…read morebut then I will leave my comments addressing these cyclists that are trying to ruin a small woman owned business, because they are being called out for being disrespectful to an entire community of people. Lien is the best stylist I've ever been to. Her expertise is unmatched and the way she makes me feel when I'm there is like I'm in my own personal spa. I have a disability and Lien is nothing but accommodating and always checks in to make sure I'm ok. Not to mention - every stylist I've always seen, seems to take hours and hours to do my hair. Which if you know, you know is the part that keeps you from making your next appointment. But Lien does her work magically and in a timely manner. She makes me feel like a new woman each time I leave there, without taking my entire day to do it. Thank you Lien for all your exceptional service!! Secondly, I'd like to address the FALSE reviews these cyclists have been leaving on her page. I've lived in the area for 36 years. The groups of cyclists from when I was a little girl were so respectful and added to the community. This new wave of cyclists are absolutely unhinged. If the cyclists groups had a Yelp - you'd see hundreds, if not thousands of fellow citizens leaving them one stars. This would be community members from South Pas, Pasadena, and ESPECIALLY Sierra Madre. They leave their bikes everywhere, they take over any and every space they are trying to occupy and are rude beyond belief. They've taken what is their hobby and are using it to try and ruin what someone does for a living. Lien and other businesses have asked them to stop blocking their business doors resting all their bikes on them. Apparently this is too big of an ask for them. The photos below were taken on a Saturday at 8:30am and this was just the FIRST of many bikes to be stacked blocking her business. Find a new city to bike in, or stop harassing women who are running their businesses and supporting their family. This is your hobby, but this is her career. Also - please remember that these men are NOT customers of the salon, but are instead making it hard for actual customers to get inside the business.

He gets my color done beautifully every time, and I'm always impressed by how clean, precise, and natural the results look. So much that I never really stray away from a basic trim and a few layers added to my hair. In fact, the last 5 years I went to the same hair stylist even though I didn't like how my hair would turn out most of the time. Today was a day for change, I wanted to try something new with my hair and I wanted to go to a new hair stylist. I decided to put my trust in Keke. This turned out to be the best decision I could make. Before she started, Keke consulted with me about what I wanted. I feel like she truly listened. Keke took the time to actually stop and pause every step of the way and ask me what I thought of every cut, length and layer. I've never had a hair stylist do that before, usually I'm just asked at the end if I like it. She absolutely didn't need to do all that but that's what I appreciate so much about my experience. I didn't feel rushed or put on the spot, I was given moments to process how I really felt. For the first time in a long time, I really loved how my haircut turned out. Wispy bangs, face framing layers, and long layers throughout. Keke nailed it exactly how I envisioned and I feel like a new person. She even gave me tips on how to style my new bangs. I can't believe what I witnessed this afternoon. I was sitting in a chair getting my hair done and…read morethe owner, I believe her name is Esther, started dropping F bombs all over the place. There was a small little 10lb dog who just ran into the building. The dog looked lost. The owner was mad and continued to curse while other clients were there. It was a small dog for crying out loud. How unprofessional. If she speaks to animals like this as well as speak like this in front of a busy salon full of clients, what else is she capable of. I would avoid this place at all costs. There are other salons in town that are much more friendly.
