We lived in Mandarin for 8 years and St Johns for almost 2 and past this place eveytime and never stopped in. On our way from church today, we finally wanted to stop by and see what 904 had to offer. The dining atea is bright and inviting. The cashier was teady to take our order but we were not ready. The waited for us to look over the menu. There were about 3 people and us eating and taking a to go order. We received our order which was way too much for both of us to eat. Due to the egg shortage, I found more, ham, onions and pepper in my omelet. No complaints. Wifey cheese grits bowl was too much as well. The atmosphere was iconic. Staff was engaging and probably waiting for us to leave since they close at 3 pm. Delis are not too popular on Sunday but this one hits all points, service, food and dining! Alright 904, we are a fan. Wifey is planning her second visit.

They are sweet and friendly do not seem greedy. The only thing that I could say negatively is a little slow. I dined in. I had the Philly cheesesteak which is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. My former restaurants also sell cheesesteaks and this one was better. Highly highly recommend it. Ambience is OK.

I haven't had a bad experience eating here. Food has always been on point. Veggies are fresh and food comes out nice, hot and delicious. It's run by a duo, I'd say power couple. I'm guessing they're the owners bc they're the only ones I see every time I've been here. The wife takes the food orders and preps when food is ready. The husband cooks all the orders. No matter how busy it gets, they never get flustered. Food is made to order so be patient, it's not long of a wait. Great selections on the menu, a rather big menu. My plan is to slowly try them all. From Western Omelet to Steak in a Sack...to Burgers....oh so good. Hmmm...what to try next!?!?

Brand new Mediterranean Deli just opened up off Shad rd in Mandarin! I popped in for lunch and looking over the menu they have gyros, wraps, burgers and platters it all looked good..i ended up going with a chicken schwarma wrap and a piece of baklava! From first bite the pita was soft and pillowy the chicken was marinated and grilled and it had a garlic sauce inside that wasn't too overpowering, (the meat wasn't shaved off a spit which i prefer) good for a quick lunch (ate while working) Now the baklava.....oh man it was delicious!! Some of the best ive ever had! Im not sure it if was fresh or i haven't had in awhile but i loved it! I'll definitely return to try more of the menu, try to show some support to these restaurants that just opened during these crazy times!

Fast lunch spot with some Mediterranean choices! I ordered the Gyro with fries, both were good but definitely frozen and thrown on the grill & fryer. There was a good amount of meat and tzatziki sauce in the pita, filled with lettuce and tomato! The sandwich was definitely filling! The restaurant was clean but the condiment containers on the table were sticky to touch although the tops were spotless. I'd recommend this lunch spot for a quick grab and go meal!

This deli opening in a strip mall with several store areas wanting to be rented. Many businesses are hurting because of Covid. This deli is smart in that they are only open breakfast and lunch-no need to try to do too much. The inside is nicely painted; the kitchen is visible at the counter (no wondering what they are doing to your food...lol). The owners are mid-easterners and they have kibbe, gyros, shawarma wraps there, also hamburger, club sandwiches with breakfast eggs, French toast etc. We ordered a lamb/beef gyro and chicken shawarma wrap. The chix was plentiful but flavor was missing?!? The gyro was pretty good my husband said, the onion rings were out of the freezer and fried! Maybe the kibbe was better?!?

Good variety of breakfast, lunch & dinner options. The prices compared to most places were very good. The breakfast pictured above was only $7.99. Overall the restaurant was pretty clean and the woman who took my order was Pleasant. She could've been a little more friendly. I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 it's because the food was just OK, all of the food had the same slight aftertaste.

I ordered from the Dynamic Duo (sandwich & soup combo) menu. I picked the Reuben and Chicken Tortilla Soup because it's been a minute since I've had either. The Reuben was good with my one critique being that I could've used a little more Thousand Island on it. The soup was good as well and not too spicy. I always order Chicken Tortilla and hope for the best because I've had it swing way past my threshold for heat but this didn't. It has a kick for sure but not too bad. My wife ordered the Hot Honey Chicken & Yolk Biscuit Sandwich. She really liked it with the biscuit itself exceeding what she expected. Like me, her only small issue with that she liked that hot honey so much, she would've liked a little more on it. That's something she knows to ask for next time though, so no biggie. We sat at the bar and service was great from everyone we interacted with. This was out third time here since they opened. My wife pointed out that she liked her first visit and this one better than the second. She had a regular platter the second time, so she thinks sticking with their specialties is the best way to go. My friend ordered us the Pork Belly Kimchi Fries, I got us an order of the Cheese Curds, and for my entree I got an order of the Asian Sticky Wings. I probably would have never ordered the kimchi fries on my own. Sometimes kimchi can be fickle and really hit or miss. It was definitely a hit here. More on the sweet and tangy side but worked really well. Fries seasoned perfectly, and the pork belly cubed and cooked to perfection. Out of all of the times I've been to Wicked Barley, these fries have to be one of the best items I've had from there. Cheese curds were pretty basic. Tasted great, but nothing to write home about. If you like Cheese curds, you'll enjoy theirs. I originally had my eye on the jerk chicken wings and I was warned by the waitress and my friend that they are REALLY hot. Jerk chicken is generally one of those thats right on the borderline of too hot for me. To give you an idea, if you're familiar with Butthutt BBQ's jerk chicken, theirs is as far as I can go for spice level. So I switched it up to be safe, and I am glad I did. Sweet and sticky, these had really great flavor inside and out. Would definitely get these again in the future. Brought a couple home to the hubby and he seemed to enjoy them too, and he normally doesn't like, what he refers to as, "sweet meat". I had three different beers in my favorite tasting style, sour. I had the PB&J sour, the mango sour, and the orange cream sour. The orange cream was my favorite of the 3. We enjoyed the sounds of the band Splittone in the background and enjoyed the whole vibe of our meal. I'm hoping to visit again on a future weekend and possibly bringing one of my pups along with me since they are dog friendly.

The ambience is certainly in the deli space, and from the outside it doesn't look like much, but inside doesn't look like much either. But the food sets it apart. OK, I've talked about food, so I'm sure you wanna hear about it (if you're still reading): Tzatziki sauce - homemade made really well done. Fries - extra crispy with a hint of salt, and I'm not a big fry person, but I love these. Potato salad - delightful side, can't go wrong. Gyro Wrap - marinated lamb, so tender you can cut it with a fork, wrapped in a pita. Gyro Platter - the same as the sandwich, but with pita chips and may be a little more lamb. I really couldn't believe how tender the lamb was, and how well it was spiced. I think my son and I were both shocked at how good the food was. Now, don't go expecting some eyebrow food, this is a deli. There's burgers, they're sandwiches, but I would stick to the Middle Eastern food that they serve because I think they really do it well. .
