We drove out of the way to try this place but apparently it used to be a Larry's Giant Subs and it's just a spin off. Still have an Ultimate but the other sandwich choices are the same but with a different name. Don't get me wrong I love Larry's Giant Subs but I thought I was going to try a different take on a different Sub sandwich spot. Nothing unique about it. Upon walking in, I was greeted immediately and the employees were super nice, accommodating, and patient while I decided on what to order. The restaurant was clean as well and reminds me of California with the décor and vibe. I got the the 12 inch Big Man Sub to go. It was a little pricey at $13 and some change (with tax). However, I will say that the sub was a big size for the price. It's essentially a take on the Philly cheesesteak. It had sautéed onions, , mushrooms, peppers, provolone cheese, and shaved sirloin. You can also ask for a pickle on the side. It was honestly, a pretty good sub! I enjoyed it very much. The beef was juicy, tender and the flavor was outstanding! I think what would elevate the sub even more, is the add some banana peppers. It was a pretty fatty, rich, cheesy sub and it just needed a little touch of acidity to bring it all together. I ended up adding the pickle to the sub and it was perfect! You can make it to a combo but I chose not to because we had soda and chips at home. I'd give the sandwich about 8.5/10. The flavors were all there and you know a sub is good when juices are dripping down your face after taking a bite. Overall, a pretty solid place to get a sub but it may be a bit pricy. Disappointed with my Philly cheesesteak sandwich. I asked for mushrooms and no onions and they ended up leaving the mushrooms off as well. They did charge me for them but they never made it on my sandwich. I also opted for the mayo and it never made its way on my sandwich. The worse part of the sandwich was the meat that had been over cooked and burnt. It tastes like it had been reheated a few times. That and the lack of cheese led me to throw it out. Luckily I had also ordered a cup a chili that turned out to be pretty decent.
