This is an order at the counter place. I've had breakfast here several times and today was my first time for lunch. I had the fall salad which was beautifully presented. It had two scoops of chicken salad, mandarin, oranges, almonds, raspberry vinegar et and other tasty things. I also had an order of the Italian wedding soup. It was flavorful with the little meatballs and orzo. My dining companion had an Aji tuna wrap, which was delicious and a Caesar salad again beautifully presented we will be back.

Food is amazingly fresh and flavorful. Plenty of healthy options a well. Ordered a club sandwich with a side of fall salad. Also tried their lobster crab bisque which was equally awesome! Staff were so friendly and food arrived fast. Inside was clean and comfortable. Overall great place for lunch or breakfast.

This is a great little diner at end of strip of stores at corner of baymeadows & southside blvd, across from Publix. I was super happy with my visit, the food was delicious, I almost always order biscuits and gravy when i try a new place for breakfast, and the Deerwood bistro did not disappoint. I ordered the large biscuit & sausage gravy breakfast which comes with 2 biscuits covered with the gravy as topped with 3 eggs and with 2 sausage patty's, i also ordered a side of grits. The gravy was full of sausage and seasoned well served on homemade biscuits that were fluffy, my eggs were cooked perfectly, over easy with runny yolks and the grits were stone ground and also yummy. You order at the front counter and find a seat and are quickly served a fantastic meal, the ladies working there were very nice and attentive, they seemed happy to be there. The restaurant was so clean it shined! Seriously I know this is silly but even the salt and pepper shakers were clean and the table was shiny. I loved everything about this place and highly recommended it!

Really enjoy having lunch here. The food is so good. I enjoyed a Roasted Turkey Sandwich with a side Caesar salad. Once again I was blown away with the quality and size of the side salad. So fresh and perfectly prepared. The Roasted Turkey Sandwich was absolutely delightful. Beautiful fresh thin sliced RoastedTurkey breast with fresh tomato and lettuce, Swiss cheese and garlic aioli which was a nice condiment that was perfect. All served on beautiful thick and light grilled white bread. It was a wonderful sandwich. The meal was delivered to me in minus two minutes, lol, it seemed that quick. They don't play around. The food is a nice value too. Want a nice and relaxing spot... you should give it a whirl.

My aunt and uncle selected this as a place for us to have lunch today. I have to say it was a very good choice as the customer service that we received is outstanding. You can tell this is definitely a family owned restaurant by how they agreed entry their customers. Moreover the food was very good. The omelette was cooked just right, not overcooked and made to perfection. I love the marble right toast and my uncle enjoyed his pancakes as my aunt enjoyed her locks. Overall it was very good, the only thing that was not the greatest was the eclair. The inside was solidified then like which the acknowledged and was to to the baker and and quality a five hour and I will be back.

Simple but tasty, fresh and flavorful.

Breakfast at 1 pm - imagine that! Super fresh and cooked to perfection- hard to get soft scrambled eggs. Real grits, not just packaged and boiled. Premium bacon and they press their biscuits panini style so nice, toasty and buttered surfaces. I think they are family owned and it show in their pride of ownership. As in Clean tables, clean salt and pepper shakers- again- imagine that. So convenient at the corner of Baymeadows and Southside, near the Gate Station. Do yourself a favor and drop in!! Family owned and operated for 10 years and going strong.

I ordered from the Dynamic Duo (sandwich & soup combo) menu. I picked the Reuben and Chicken Tortilla Soup because it's been a minute since I've had either. The Reuben was good with my one critique being that I could've used a little more Thousand Island on it. The soup was good as well and not too spicy. I always order Chicken Tortilla and hope for the best because I've had it swing way past my threshold for heat but this didn't. It has a kick for sure but not too bad. My wife ordered the Hot Honey Chicken & Yolk Biscuit Sandwich. She really liked it with the biscuit itself exceeding what she expected. Like me, her only small issue with that she liked that hot honey so much, she would've liked a little more on it. That's something she knows to ask for next time though, so no biggie. We sat at the bar and service was great from everyone we interacted with. This was out third time here since they opened. My wife pointed out that she liked her first visit and this one better than the second. She had a regular platter the second time, so she thinks sticking with their specialties is the best way to go. The overall vibes were casual in a nice way -- nothing too aggressively themed, just a good and bright breakfast spot. Our server, Bonnie, was friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering a hodge podge of breakfast items: eggs over medium, hash browns, cheese grits, a waffle, and a blueberry muffin split and grilled. My mom got an egg sandwich with grits and vegetarian sausage (yay!). Our food came pretty quickly, and I hoovered up everything on my plate. Everything tasted the way you'd expect: just good breakfast food. The hash browns had a crisp top, which is vital for me. The malted waffle stood out the most; I could smell it the second our server walked out of the kitchen with it and I ate the whole thing, even though I frequently split a waffle and take half home for later. The muffin was good, but a special shoutout for the option to have it split, buttered, and lightly grilled. I immediately requested my mom start trying that with her own blueberry muffins next time I'm over. It's a little pricey, but what isn't these days? It sure hit the spot.
