Booked the glacier full day trekking tour and had Billy as my guide and couldn't have had a better experience! Everything about dealing with this company was a breeze! I booked the day before, the morning of the owner texted me to confirm that I would be picked up at my Airbnb, Billy texted me notifying me when he was on his way. He was kind, responsive, full of information, considerate, and willing to tailor the speed and details to the needs of the group. He truly made this trip enjoyable. Van ride to the glacier is about 100 miles, we stopped at a gas station about half way. We stopped twice for two photo opportunities, and then made our way to the glacier gift shop to sign waivers. Then drove down to the launch point of the trek. There are ample bathrooms down there. Billy did not accompany us on the glacier but that was okay, our guide at the glacier was super sweet and knowledgeable. I felt more than safe! You walk across a floating bridge to get your microspikes and then we spent about 2-2.5 hours trekking the glacier. You do spend most of the hike on the rocky surface, but we did a pretty steep climb on the blue ice to get to the top of our area, we drank glacier water (amazing) and then saw the base of the glacier which was stunning. Post trek we returned to the tent and met up with Billy, he had snacks waiting for us and then drove us up to the lodge for lunch. After lunch we made the drive back, and again Billy was willing to accommodate different drop off points. read more

We had such a WONDERFUL day dog sledding with our guide Lori. Our day started with getting picked up at our hotel in downtown Anchorage. Hotel pickup was super helpful since we didn't rent a vehicle. Lori made a bathroom/coffee stop 45 minutes into the drive. We stopped at a local coffee shop which was so thoughtful instead of stopping at your typical gas station. Afterwards we arrived at our destination for the dog sled tour. We went during the winter and it gets very cold when you are moving on the sled! We are from Arizona so we didn't have snow boots or other items on hand. Luckily snow shoes, heavy gloves, beanies, etc were provided for us to change into so that we stayed nice and warm on the sled. We were paired up and got the chance to sit down and ride in the front of the sled which was perfect for taking videos and pictures. And the other person had the chance to stand up at the back of the sled. We warmed up with a delicious lunch at a nearby lodge and made our way back to Anchorage. Lori did a great job from start to finish for our Matanushka glacier hike tour. She is the owner of the company, our driver as well as our tour guide. I had a great first impression when I called them over phone 4 days before arriving anchorage. She wasn't pushy at all when I enquired about the booking. She even recommended I could wait until a day before the trip if I wasn't sure about coming over due to the weather. I eventually ended up booking like she suggested and after reaching anchorage, I messaged her again confirming my tour. She picked me up right on time. She engaged us with a great conversation, driving smooth over some of the rough roads, took us to a couple of convenience stores and a nice restaurant afterwards. Lorie our shuttle driver was awesome, so knowledgable about anchorage and alaska and just about anything she is as rare a gem as the glaciers we toured, wish I had more to tip her for all her help. As a flight attendant with only a 24 hour stay, I wanted to experience as much as I could for a quick taste of what Alaska has to offer. I did my research before my trip (June 2 2021) and thought that 907 Tours was the perfect choice! We were beyond pleased for the experience! My fellow FA and I chose the Glacier and Wildlife tour. I appreciated the text communication with Lori the day prior, to confirm the day trip. It was extremely helpful to be picked up directly from our hotel. The Sprinter van was very clean and comfortable during the drive. Lori was not only a great driver, but a fun and friendly guide. She was kind and considerate and patient with all ages we had on the tour. She answered any and all questions we had, even the silly ones! The tour itself was breathtaking. A stop at Chugach State Park, the lunchbreak at the PG Lodge, the boat ride to the Portage Glacier, and the WIldlife Center. A whole day packed full of oohs and ahhhs! They business card says: "An Adventure Every Day" and that is true. 907 is one of the few operators who offer tours during the off season. I went on their City Tour, which takes you all around the Anchorage vicinity and gives you a good overview of Anchorage. What pleased me more than anything is this is one tour group that is ON TIME! So many say they will pick you up at a certain time and you end up sitting there wondering what's going on? Not with 907! John was right there with a beautiful, immaculate Mercedes tour van. Absolutely perfect day. Yes, it was very chilly (high of 15 that day), but Susan was more than accommodating. It was a small group that day, and she was absolutely okay with staying in the van, but also willing to stop and let us out anywhere. The drive was breathtaking the whole way, and the conservation kept our interest the whole time. The animals looked well taken care of, and Susan showed her knowledge about each species and individual animal, calling each named animal by their name! I would HIGHLY recommend this tour! Our guide John and his wife own the business and they both are tour guides, but John was our guide today. He picked us up at our hotel in a large spacious van that was kept extremely clean and he also had plenty of snacks and bottled water for us. We picked up several other people and were on our way. First stop was to Portage Glacier, where we took a boat ride to get up very close to the glacier, and had knowledgable guides to explain things. Next we all had lunch at a lodge and then were on our way to a nature conservation area where we were able to view many animals up close, including bears, moose, elk, caribou, Eagles, musk oxen, and Lynx. The animals had been either orphaned or injured. We even saw an elk being born! Our guide John was extremely knowledgeable about all of Alaska and was very accommodating to everyone on the tour. John was even able to provide us with lots of restaurant recommendations. We even had a few more small stops during the day that he thought we'd find interesting. This was an 8 hour tour and I would definitely recommend it! read more

Amazing tour group!!! We had a tour scheduled on the 4th of July and even though there was just two of us John still took us out and gave us the best day!! We visited the Portage Glacier, Animal Conservation site and took a tram to the top of a mountain. I set up a dog sled tour with this company. I emailed them back and forth maybe 6 times and actually booked them over the phone. They were supposed to pick us up at 9am. With only one day to explore Alaska, 907 tours was the perfect choice.
