We took the tour with Matt as our guide, he was extremely knowledgeable and friendly! I would strongly recommend using them! Hopefully you get Matt!

After putting together the bulk of my Alaska itinerary, I was left with some gaps here and there. And their "Wildlife and Glaciers" tours fit in there perfectly. I booked it through Viator and called a day in advance to reconfirm pickup. They just moved me to an hour earlier, which was fine. Pickup was at the log cabin/visitor center in town, which wasn't too far from my hotel. Our guide for the day, Jonathan, arrived right on time. We hopped on the bus and hit the road. Jonathan is an Alaska native and he is super knowledgeable! He even spotted some mountain goats and managed to pull over so we could get some pictures. We went straight to the AWCC where we were given about 1h45min of free time. He spent some time with us at the bears and provided us with some background info on them, before setting us loose to explore the rest of the park at our own pace. Afterwards, we hit the road again to go look at the glaciers. Although the weather was windy and rainy at times, we did manage to get out at all stops and also do the rainforest walk. Afterwards, we also made a quick ice cream stop to try the local fireweed ice cream! Once we got back into town, Jonathan offered drop-offs at downtown hotels or anywhere we preferred in that area. I went to the Alaska Museum afterwards. I definitely had a good time on my excursion and though the price/quality was very fair.

The tour was absolutely stunning. Matt did a great job giving the history of the area along with personal reflections he had about the area. I would recommend this tour as a great way to see the area. Turnagain Tour

One of the jewels of Alaska's Finest, Donna and myself

I took this tour to get familiarized with Anchorage. It was the best decision I made! Donna is a fantastic guide who loves what she does and where she lives! She relocated here back in the 70s and made it home. She takes great pride in the community and it shows in her job! Would highly recommend!

We visited Alaska last week (Yes, in the winter in 12-24 degree weather!!) and booked the Turnagain Tour and Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center through Groupon...best tour investment ever! Our guide was Ben and he was super helpful, nice, knowledgeable, passionate about his role as a guide, and very down to earth! Ben made sure we got to see all the cool animals and cool spots, including mooses, eagle nests, yummy places (chocolate and reindeer sausage...yes we ate Rudolph!) and glaciers! As a native to Alaska, he knew all these fun roads and exciting detours that we previously missed when driving on our own! Big shout out to him for extending our tour time and making our first visit to Alaska memorable and treating us like family!!! Can't wait to return soon!!

We booked the Wildlife Conservation Center and Turnagain Arm Tour. About 5 hours long. Tina was a great tour guide. She stopped at multiple locations for 15mins or so to take pictures. I wish we would get closer to the glaciers though. This tour covered a lot however. Multiple stops and plenty of places to find gifts at gift shops. Also try a rain deer hot dog at the wildlife center! The van is also very nice and air conditioned. Comfortable ride for sure! Thank you!

My friends and I booked this on the Groupon promotion and had a great time exploring the city of anchorage with our guide Ben. He also provided further tips and recommendations for exploring outside of anchorage and really gave us local insight. We spent extra time to find a city moose and boy did we!!!!! We saw great viewpoints, learned about local history and culture and really had fun. Highly recommended.

I called to inquire about your information and prices and the gentleman who answered, hung up on me. I do not recommend this business.

I booked the day before, the morning of the owner texted me to confirm that I would be picked up at my Airbnb, Billy texted me notifying me when he was on his way. He was kind, responsive, full of information, considerate, and willing to tailor the speed and details to the needs of the group. He truly made this trip enjoyable. Van ride to the glacier is about 100 miles, we stopped at a gas station about half way. We stopped twice for two photo opportunities, and then made our way to the glacier gift shop to sign waivers. Then drove down to the launch point of the trek. There are ample bathrooms down there. Billy did not accompany us on the glacier but that was okay, our guide at the glacier was super sweet and knowledgeable. I felt more than safe! You walk across a floating bridge to get your microspikes and then we spent about 2-2.5 hours trekking the glacier. You do spend most of the hike on the rocky surface, but we did a pretty steep climb on the blue ice to get to the top of our area, we drank glacier water (amazing) and then saw the base of the glacier which was stunning. Post trek we returned to the tent and met up with Billy, he had snacks waiting for us and then drove us up to the lodge for lunch. After lunch we made the drive back, and again Billy was willing to accommodate different drop off points.

Hotel pickup was super helpful since we didn't rent a vehicle. Lori made a bathroom/coffee stop 45 minutes into the drive. We stopped at a local coffee shop which was so thoughtful instead of stopping at your typical gas station. Afterwards we arrived at our destination for the dog sled tour. We went during the winter and it gets very cold when you are moving on the sled! We are from Arizona so we didn't have snow boots or other items on hand. Luckily snow shoes, heavy gloves, beanies, etc were provided for us to change into so that we stayed nice and warm on the sled. We were paired up and got the chance to sit down and ride in the front of the sled which was perfect for taking videos and pictures. And the other person had the chance to stand up at the back of the sled. We warmed up with a delicious lunch at a nearby lodge and made our way back to Anchorage. Overall, we had such a great day thanks to Lori and the dog mushers. It was truly a one of a kind experience! Highly recommend 907 Tours.

HIGHLY recommend if you're in alaska!

I would have a staff member present for this awkward table assignment - we did call and went in person the day before to avoid such a debacle and were brushed off. Shane remedied the situation and did comp us a glacier margarita (thank you for that ) the crew was great , but management should reconsider the seating assignment versus the "you get what you get " or mitigate and prevent uncomfortable situations among the guests. However, the weather was great - our captain was great and the crew was great !

I am thrilled to say I made it through Xxtreme Week 2015! The trip was more than I had hoped it…read morewould be and I would recommend Exposure Alaska and their great team. The trip was the perfect medicine to unplug me from an over-scheduled, over-programmed, and highly electronic career for a solid week. It pushed me mentally and physically, but never did I feel unsafe. I returned to work in a better frame of mind and with my whole body in a state of "a good kind of sore". Hats off to Don, and our guides (Sandra and Roz) who really made the stay wonderful. And, I never expected to be complimenting the camp food, but it was AWESOME!!! Sandra's breakfast burrito could be on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives! I am already thinking about coming up with a new itinerary for 2016 and going back to the Exposure Alaska crew for another week of killer Alaska wild.

For our ten year wedding anniversary, my husband and I were torn between choosing Hawaii or Alaska…read more We are so glad we chose the latter and that we went with Exposure Alaska to make our experience the most memorable for us. We decided to book the Matanuska Getaway, which is only a 3 day trip because we figured we would want to go explore other parts of Alaska on our own. We had such a blast with Exposure, we wish we had booked a longer stay with them. The owner Don, was so helpful throughout the entire booking process, and recommended places to see and stay during our time after Exposure. The views of the glacier, the wild life, the planned tours and our amazing guides, all surpassed our expectations. They were awesome! Our guides were professional, knowledgable, friendly and we felt like close friends by the end of the trip. They were able to adjust our experience based on our skill and physical ability levels, which added more excitement to our trip. Our safety was paramount at all times and we had full confidence in their abilities to guide our adventure. Moreover, the food at the camp was great! We were expecting beans and weenies and other cliche camping food, but what we got was some great Alaskan cooking: Fresh Salmon, BBQ chicken, homemade breads and granola, among other things. In addition, while there was a lot of stuff to cover on our daily agenda, there was also a lot of time to relax and unwind. It was the only vacation where I didn't think about work, unless someone asked me about my job. Normally, when we go somewhere we still have home somewhere on the mind, but not here. Finally, this experience didn't seem touristy. After we finished our trip with Exposure, we spent a few days in other parts of Alaska, and the tours we did just weren't the same.
