Today is a gorgeous day indeed. I bought about seven loaves of bread.SCORE!! The gentleman helping me select some bread was so amazingly, friendly, it actually made me buy more loaves ha ha ha. See what little smile & some gentle coaxing will do? Of course, I happily wandered into the little booth that had plants and met the friendly and accommodating plant lady named Jenny. I was so enamored with the succulents that bore flowers that I ended up buying one-- it makes me happy because this reminds me of my dearly departed aunt who loved succulents. I was most interested in the fresh produce and fruits and although small, the few vendors there had what I needed: cilantro, green onion, cauliflower, kale, broccoli, tomatoes, peaches, strawberries, figs, onion, jalapeno, and even picked up two pots of herbs: mint and oregano. $1 loaf of whole wheat sourdough bread was a steal! As always, I remembered to bring my own bags and my own produce bags to put the produce in. They also sold tamales there which I'll have to come back again to try. There were also other vendors selling home made crafts, as well as honey and eggs. Overall, this was a great experience and highly recommend it.

There are so many things here, exotic teas, lots of veggies and fruits, even this awesome soapmaker who made Calamansi Soap! Wow! I purchased that too! Plus, Olive Oil with Basil, very fancy here, juice stands, salsa and chips fresh made. A bit of soft music, plenty of parking and got one quite fast. Beef jerky and chamoy candy. Pizza ready for baking when you home, too. I prefer shopping locally and lines not long and boring like grocery markets and major chains. Establishing relationships with market vendors is above all else important. Visiting again!!

There were plenty of free parking both on the street as well as behind the public library and the local post office. At the Farmer's market, you can find vendors selling fresh eggs, fruits, and flowers. There's also honey, juice and pastries that are super tasty. I was actually there primarily for the eggs and was able to get two dozens of XL Grade AA eggs for $23. Most vendors accept Apple Pay / Tab to pay using your cc or debit cards. I plan to come back here more often, and when I do, I will remind myself to bring my wagon.

In fact, the market (during my hiatus) has doubled in size. It now occupies the full stretch of the Shoppes' main street. There are SO many food vendors specializing in all types of cuisines - Italian! Korean! Brazilian! I love to see these people really indulging and perfecting their craft. It's a unique feature of this market because they don't have the run of the mill food vendors you find elsewhere. Additionally, there are lots of produce vendors alongside artisanal booths that sell things like soap and jewelry. You can do a little shopping after eating a snack or dinner. Honestly, I'd come to this farmers market on vibes alone. I can't think of a better way to spend a Wednesday night in the sleepy suburbs than to eat delicious food and do some produce shopping. Like despite trying some of the other food vendors, I just don't feel like they compare to this baked potato stand. It's always the one I look forward to coming back for and enjoying throughout the year! And one thing I especially love is how huge their baked potatoes are! It usually takes me about 2-3 sittings to finish one, and even then, I still get sad when I'm down to my last bite lol. Overall, it's always a nice experience walking around the market and checking out the different vendors, whether they're food or product based. Everyone's bound to find something they like. Plus, the live music is always a great touch and makes for the perfect little evening picnic/concert atmosphere to enjoy with friends :)

Located in downtown Upland, this event's hub is the gazebo, where they usually have a band or dj playing music for the attendees to enjoy. Every year, I try to go 1 or 2 times, just to support my hometown. The last couple of years, it seems like there have been fewer and fewer vendors, which is a shame. I've noticed that the event seems to attract a large number of teenagers that want to use it as a chance to hang out, which personally is a dis-incentive for me to go. When I do go, I make it a point to get the bacon-wrapped hot dogs, corn salsa salad from Margie's Shuck Wagon, tri-tip sandwiches, and funnel cake. I'm a glutton. I can't help it. Leave me alone.

The market forums from 8am to 1pm. Decent selection of vendors and all are friendly and welcoming. There's a mix of fruit & vegetables vendors, fresh seafood, bakery items, dips, roasted peanuts, tamales, artisans & crafts, etc. Personal we've bought some of the various artisan/craft items during Christmas and regularly get some fresh fruit and vegetables. Also enjoy getting the various dips and tamales. If you're local to the area, it's worth a visit on your Saturday mornings/afternoons. It securely has a community feel.

The footprint of this farmers market isn't huge, but I feel like it has a lot of the vendors/ eateries/ things that I've come to expect at a farmers market. At each of the stands I visited, everyone was very friendly and helpful. I ended up getting some produce, a baguette, some candy, and some honey on this visit. The items were delicious and loved the baguette - using it as my bread at breakfast and making a sandwich at lunch. I definitely would love to comeback and buy other items when I'm sure I know what I want to do with them (when cooking). It can get pretty busy in the area, but I was able to find parking a few blocks away. It gave me a chance to walk through the downtown area and check out some other stores as well.

We also grabbed some homemade salsa from Valente from Tatiana. Ample parking along the side street. We spent a bit, but got many things that we wanted- a great day.
