That almond bread looks sooo good! Only $3.50 each

Strictly the Pan Dulce/Bolios. This was so fresh and delicious. A bit well done around the corners but in a good way! Crunchy on the outside and super soft on the inside. I don't like the unsafe location, it's on holt blvd and there's a lot of homeless, pan handlers, & creepy people passing by. I wouldn't go alone... The prices are pretty cheap too! I can't wait to go back and get more.

Cookies & pastries in a brown paper bag.

My stepdad had a craving for GALLETAS GRAGEAS, POLVORONES CON CHOCHITOS (MEXICAN SUGAR COOKIES WITH SPRINKLES).The neighborhood is a Latin family based area. Very safe. The building is all white with red signage, located in a mini shopping center so I almost drove past it. Great prices, (all these for $7.00) selection and customer service. Cash only. Since there's a change shortage, try to have the exact amount. The staff was playing Spanish music & dancing. I definitely felt welcomed into a fun loving environment. They took pride in their work & loved what they do. I hope you enjoy them just as much as I did.The only improvement that I have is that they don't have traditional pastries packaging. The cookies came in a brown paper bag.

Chicken tamale with salsa verde and an ice cold Mexican coke. Yum!

Delicious fresh baked bread, yummy tamales, tortas and even chile relleno burritos! Definitely a must in Pomona!

    Bread selection

I got a mollete and a torta de asada. Both were delicious but I wished that they added more beans to the mollete. The panaderia has a wide arrange of bread and pastries. They also sell tamale de elote (uchepos). When I walked in there the bread and coffee smelled so good. Give this place a try and the prices are pretty affordable. You won't be disappointed.

Never come here. They did not make the cake like we asked and they were very unprofessional. Never again.

It was one of those late random nights & we were craving some pan dulce - so we started yelping panaderías that had late hours.

Since then, I've gladly driven 20 minutes just to pick up their bread, it's that good. Their Mexican sweet bread is consistently fresh and flavorful; the crumb on that bread is impressive. I was so impressed that I ordered 45 conchas as a thank-you for celebrating with us gift for my son's wedding. They were a huge hit. Beyond the pan dulce, my husband and I have tried their burritos, carne asada, and carnitas, and everything has been absolutely delicious. We even ordered cabeza and lengua for my brothers, and they were just as impressed, especially with the flavor and the freshness of their flour tortillas. I also ordered a cake for a party and served it at the restaurant; it stole the show. It was so good that our waiter had a slice himself and asked where we bought it. From their bread and cakes to their savory dishes, this bakery consistently delivers quality and flavor. I highly recommend them.

When I went in there, they told me they couldn't sell it by the pound, but, instead could sell me a taco or burrito. They told me that I could buy carnitas by the pound. I chose to try their carnitas. There's something that doesn't seem right about buying cooked meats from a bakery. Their carnitas was just okay. Nothing special. I've had better. My wife tried it and said that the Costco one is better. Not a fan of this place especially when the meat guy next door says it is available. Perhaps I should stick to the cakes when coming here.

I was super excited to find this bakery on Yelp as I grew up on old school Chinese cakes from LA…read moreChinatown / SGV and my family prefers them to Non-Asian cakes (i.e. Costco/supermarket/Porto's, non-asian bakeries). I called in a few days ago to order an 8" strawberry cake for my husband's birthday and requested no almonds on the side since my kids are allergic. I went to pick it up today and found the bakery in an Asian shopping plaza next to the Asian market. They had a few buns in the shelf as you walk in, so I picked up a coconut bun to try (only $1.50! Yay!). The interior is bare bones, with a few dusty fake cakes for display. The bakery shelves are covered up since they don't seem to sell anything besides cakes and a few buns. We ate the cake tonight but I was silently crying tears inside. While the sponge cake itself was nostalgically good, I noticed that there were barely any strawberries in the cake. It's summer and full on strawberry season, so to see that they were so skimpy on the strawberries was a major disappointment. This has got to be the saddest Asian strawberry cake I've ever had. In. My.life. All of our slices of cake had a sliver of strawberry hiding in a massive amount of cream (I guess to make the cake look bigger and taller). I ordered a strawberry cake, not a cream cake with a strawberry garnish. I added an extra star for the cake quality, but am not a fan of the excessive cream-to-cake ratio or the lack of strawberries in the filling. There are better Asian cakes available on the other end of the 10, so I won't be back. Cash only. Also, fyi, this bakery is in a neighborhood where I saw 5 scantily clad prostitutes walking the streets (at 2:00 in the afternoon) and about 6 homeless people were hanging out in the plaza a few feet away from the bakery.
