Adding one more star back to my review because the beef soup hit the last I had it (to-go). Need to try again soon...

I didn't realize my review never posted, Yelp reminded me to post it.

I'm not quite sure why my experience is so different than all these reviews. I can't name a single thing from this place that I enjoyed. On top of that, there was a huge fly that kept us swatting our food and landing on our hands several times. The fried rice tasted like it was burned and scraped from a dirty pan, and the soup and dumplings were flavorless. I've had sichuan beef soup from Cup Noodles in Rancho so I had high expectations of finding a new sichuan soup, if this was my first time trying it I would of thought it wasn't for me. It is very pricey and they also pressure you into tipping.

My husband found this restaurant while browsing online, and I was genuinely excited to try it. I'm half Sichuanese and love spicy food, so I had high hopes--especially since we live nearby. The food itself wasn't bad, but it didn't stand out or meet expectations. I had asked for the spicy sauce for my noodles, but was instead given a small plastic sauce container of black vinegar (they look very similar, which I understand contributed to the mix-up). Thinking it was the spicy sauce, I added it to my noodles, which made the dish overly sour and unfortunately detracted from the experience. To be fair, our waitress was very kind and mentioned it was her first few days on the job. The manager who was training her did try to step in to prevent the handoff, but it happened anyway. I appreciated their effort and professionalism. What stood out more negatively was the value. The pricing felt high relative to the portion size and overall quality of the food. Additionally, we were seated next to the windows, which were noticeably dusty. The blinds and windowsill hadn't been cleaned, and it made me question the overall cleanliness of the restaurant, which made it harder to fully enjoy our meal. Overall, the experience was okay, but between the pricing, the sauce mix-up, and the cleanliness concerns, it wasn't somewhere I'd be eager to return to without improvements.

Order to go... it was dry. The pork had great flavor but there were so many noodles that just tasted like over cooked spaghetti. Service was quick and nice. The place is cute inside. Super small.

I originally came here hoping to order the oil spilled noodles, but unfortunately it's not on the menu anymore. So instead I got the Taro Balls and Sichuan Spicy Shredded Chicken. The Taro Balls were pretty good. The texture of the taro paste was smooth and the taste was creamy with the right level of sweetness. The mochi was maybe a bit thick for my liking, but overall it was still good. The Sichuan Spicy Shredded Chicken was a bit underwhelming. The portion of chicken was smaller than I expected, and I didn't love the seasoning. I would have preferred if the sauce were just salt, soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, peppercorn, and chili oil. But there was some additional sauce/spice, tasted a bit like shacha sauce, that overwhelmed the rest of the seasoning. It looks like Miss Sichuan specializes in noodles so I will aim to come back and try some of their other noodles sometime. The service was fine, nothing notable. I really like the decorations in the restaurant, as well as the outside. It strikes the right balance of being cute and elegant without being gaudy.

This is a nice little restaurant in an unlikely place (for Chinese food) in Pomona. Off busy White avenue, it has a parking lot north of the restaurant, which makes it easy to stop in for a bite. I tried the Spicy Dumplings, Chongqing noodles, and Beef stirred noodles. Even though I asked for "medium" spicyness, the dishes were not spicy at all (Their store moto is "No Spicy, No Joy" after all). The waitress is very friendly and helpful if you are not familiar with what to order, she will guide you. She did tell us that the Spicyness level of dishes have been toned done twice now since opening, due to local customer's preferences. If you need to "feel the burn", extra chilli oil is available to increase the spice level in your dish. The food is tasty and the portions are huge. If you pay via Zelle, you avoid a 4% surcharge when paying via credit card. Owner is looking into accepting Venmo too in the future. I recommend this place if you like Chengdu style noodles.

ordered the extra extra spicy beef crystal noodles from Miss Sichuan -- so good. The spice level was exactly what I've been craving. Normally I have to drive 30 minutes to a Chinese food area to find something this authentic, but now I'm so glad I found Miss Sichuan close to home. Really appreciate having a spot like this in Pomona that brings real Chinese flavors to the community. Definitely a hidden gem, and I'll be coming back to support again.

My partner and I were visiting Pomona and needed to find something with both vegan and meat and low carb options and Miss Sichuan did not disappoint!! We got a lot of stuff because we were really hungry. We shared an order of the noodle soup that could be made veggie and it was so good (medium spicy), our server Joanna let us swap the pork for bok Choy and it was such a big portion we had left overs. We also got the spring rolls which were fresh and delicious, the sweet and sour cucumber (the sauce was SO good ) the garlic bok Choy, and the soup dumplings. Everything was so fresh and we learned a hat they make the noodles in house. The prices were super reasonable and the portions were really big! We took a lot of left overs home. I would highly recommend checking this place out, there was no wait at 5pm on a Sunday and it had the cutest little environment on the outdoor patio! Shout out to our server Joanna who was really friendly and helpful!

I am absolutely in love with this place. The little statue outside is so cool and makes the restaurant feel more welcoming. Everytime I've visited, theres only been one person working so the service and food take awhile to come out, but when it does, it is so worth it. We ordered some dumplings to start us off. I appreciate they give little trays of peanuts for the tables. I always order Shrimp Fried Noodles and they are some of the best noodles I have ever had. The texture, consistency, size, and flavor is absolute perfection to me. I can eat them all day. I can't recommend them enough!

I had heard of this place about a year ago. My patients had ordered from here and their room smelled AMAZING. So I noted the name of the place and had a chance to go today. Everything I ordered was incredible. The noodles were so spicy and flavorful. The coconut lava balls were a fun treat and the dumplings were also really good. Cute interior and exterior as well as very friendly family owned place!! I wanna go back for Boba and to try other things here. Thank you Miss Sichuan!!

We have been back a few times since Miss Sichuan's grand opening. The first time was great, then we had a couple meh experiences, and the last time we went about 2 weeks ago, it was better. We have enjoyed the sides, their signature soup, and the option to reduce sweetness on the drinks. The dumplings have also normally been reliable and solid. Good flavor and we like the dipping sauce. The xiao long bao have been okay, but ours still frequently stick to the paper or break. The technique seems a little off still, but the flavor is fine. When we have had less than a 4-star experience, it was because of temperature issues or way too much plastic used (plates, bowls, etc., which also affect the temps since the food cooled off a lot). When we dine in, we don't want things packed like it's to-go and it'd be nice to avoid creating so much waste. Some of these times when we were served food in plastic to-go containers, it was later in the evening (but not right before closing). Perhaps some of the workers didn't feel like doing dishes after? In this sense, service has varied, but we appreciate that there's a dumpling spot close by and the owners are trying out new things to see what works. We enjoyed our last meal there and felt service was good and things were clean. Some containers were still disposable, but at least we weren't served hot food in plastic.

What a gem for the our neighborhood east of SGV. Now we don't have to trek all the way to SGV or Rancho to get some really good spicy noodles soup. They have big parking lot next to the restaurant. It's a small place but there are outdoor table as well. Now to the food. We tried the specialty of the house. Spicy wonton, Chong Quing Noodles, stirred beef noodles. The spicy wontons were good after we added the additional chili sauce. Choice of filling for your wontons. Shrimp and chive, pork pr chicken. The Chong Quing noodle soup was very good. Bold flavor with every single bite. The stirred beef noodles served dry with Chinese salted Choi, seasoned white carrots, fried peanuts and some other condiments with the noodles. Make sure you mix everything together well and enjoy! Additionally chili sauce if you want to kick up a notch! Their brown sugar boba milk tea was really good. Even the regular sugar amount, it was not overly sweet! Friendly service and great little place for lunch and dinner or even to go.

I see you charge service fee for credit cards. Does this apply to debit cards as well? Since this is not a credit card & is basically same as cash.

Hi , We charge 4% processing fees for card processing. You can avoid this fee using Zelle , No other service fee will be charged

Since you are cashless, What method of payment does not charge service fees? I understand sales taxes need to be charged

We don’t charge service fee , only credit card transactions have 4% extra charging , We accept Zelle payment to avoid this fees

Do you guys still charge a service fee, debit fee and over pricing on taxes? I seen the receipt and the tax calculation is way off and overcharging. What percentage do you have the tax rate at?

No service fee , but we have 4% of credit card charging fee , tax is 10.5 % of Pomona city

Are the noodles & dumplings made in-house from scratch?

Yes thank you for your question ,all our meals are prepared in house.

I grew up eating Hong Kong style dim sum so I am very picky with my dim sum. We were greeted by a very friendly lady who sat us at a table. There are about 10 tables inside to sit and eat there. We got the usual items like shumai (pork dumplings), har gar (shrimp dumplings), pork spareribs, chicken sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves, bbq pork buns, egg tarts, and I had to try the beef stew rice noodle soup. The server was very attentive to us while she took care of 4 other tables on her own. You do have to pay at store and not on the app when you're ready to checkout. The food came out fast and it tasted fresh. Portion size of the items are great. The bbq pork bun dough was a bit mushy to me. I like when the bun is fluffy and soft. The egg tart was perfect and not overcooked. The shumai and har gar was delicious and huge. The chicken sticky rice was very yummy . The spareribs were a bit fatty but had great flavor. The beef stew rice noodle soup was not my favorite. The beef stew was tender but it lacked flavor and the soup needed more flavor. Overall, we are happy we found a dim sum place that isn't too far from home and we don't have to drive down to OC or LA to eat. We will definitely come back if we have cravings for dim sum.

Fortunately, they serve both. We both love siomai, duck, and crispy salted squid so we ordered the trio. The siomai was fresh. Tasted as if it was just off a lunch cart. It's delicious and the serving size is quite generous. The price is unbeatable too. We really enjoyed its balanced taste. Sometimes, siomai can be a bit bland but this was packed with flavor. The Peking Duck was great too. Reminded us of our time in Hong Kong. Less oily but still delicious. The buns were great too. We both enjoyed every bite. The sauce was excellent too. It had sweetness to it from the pineapple sauce. The salted crispy squid is balanced. Salty yet a bit sweet. It's definitely more of the indulgent side of things. Best paired with rice. We skip the carbs that night, but we'll definitely order this again paired with something else. The service here is great. Everyone is welcoming and helpful. It doesn't feel like rushed service. Ambiance here feels like your typical Chinese restaurant. It's clean and you can tell it has aged over time. You're here for the good food though, not the aesthetics. Lettuce Wraps ($11.95) - Fresh appetizer to compliment all of the other warm items. This was really crunchy and well textured, which you can lose with vegetarian/vegan food. Crispy Oyster Mushroom ($19.95) - MUST ORDER! One of our favorites. The mushroom has a tasty batter and it's deep fried with basil. Simple but delicious. Sesame Crispy Fish ($17.95) - MUST ORDER! Super crunchy and flavorful. I think it's made from seaweed and tofu skin but it has the crispiness of baby fish. General Tso Chicken ($16.95) - A really good mushroom alternative. We were really surprised how much we liked it. I haven't had the meat version of the general tso chicken, but I'm digging this vegan version.
